I'll start with the cons bc it's not that much- the line for seafood can get long bc of how the buffet is set up. If the ppl in front move along you can get through fast. If not you'll have a wait. Due to the location of the door and the hot food side a couple of flies might be trying to find their way in the door to get to a couple of the goods. Pros- seafood was plentiful and good. Crawfish could have used a little more spice but not bad at all. Snow crab were great. They also have Jonah crab but I don't eat those. Full seafood buffet on Saturday and if you don't want to wait too long, get there an hour before and join the waitlist on their website. Worth a drive down. Price wise for 2 with drinks cost 100 bucks so be prepared if bringing a large party. Can order off the menu as well.

First off, the actual name of this place is Carl's catfish hut. At least that's what they go by on…read moreGoogle. The original Carl's catfish hut was a great place to eat. This is not. I got a seafood platter and paid $25 +tax. The stuffed crab and hush puppies were badly burnt, but cold on the inside. How? The fish and fries were soggy and had no crispyness to them. The shrimp, like the fish, tasted like the oil it was fried in was very old. The oysters had half the batter fall off before they made it to the plate and, again, was cold on the inside. Oysters have to be fried just right to be good. These were edible. Honestly, I feel like I've been robbed. I see why when I got there, there wasn't a single person eating there. Not one person. They have all of these great reviews, but the food's horrible and no one eats there. I'm guessing they have their friends and families leave positive reviews. That's the only thing that makes sense. Luckily, they'll be out of business soon. Hopefully, they'll leave the Carl's catfish hut name alone before they completely destroy it's memory...

We should have walked out when saw glass door that was so dirty with finger prints and everything else u hardly could see inside. Saw a few takeout orders come in and out so we reluctantly then Ordered food at counter to then be told after sitting down they were out of what I ordered so I had to order something different. Sat down at table which was so sticky my forearms stuck to it, napkin holder on table was so dusty my finger left mark when drug it across it. Place looked like it had never been cleaned or updated in years. Lights above had bugs galore in lightcover, floors/baseboards dirty, fans above on their last leg/blades. Windows also needed cleaning. By then I still wanted to walk out but I needed to see what the food was like. Trying to give benefit of doubt. Service very slow, looked short staffed. Hoping they washed hands at some point no gloves used with server taking orders, collecting money and touching food/cooking in plain view. When food arrived it looked ok until I tasted the coleslaw it was very bad, looked discolored and tasted old needless to say didn't eat it after one bite, my husband spit his out, then came the fried fish, I wasn't impressed no flavor parts of fish was just batter no meat, also the batter didn't stay on onion rings so as soon as u picked them up batter would fall off onion, Hush puppies tasted old not fresh, definitely frozen great value brand or worse. Didn't finish our meal and that's not like my husband he always finishes. Everything tasted same probably fried all in same grease. Still can't believe we stayed and (ate what we could)of the food. I hope they improve if read this, we like to support local businesses that's why we decided to try COUNTRY BOYS but unfortunately we won't be back. I got the special of the day which was baked chicken with rice and gravy and two sides. For my sides, I chose the greens and mashed potatoes. Even though I got two starches, it was worth it because the mashed potatoes and gravy were worth having as a main dish! I loved the greens, too, especially since they had all the hot sauce and peppers and vinegar choices you could want. The chicken was fork tender and I left nothing on the plate. I love that they provide each guest a little wrapped package of cornbread and iced cake of the day, too. I will definitely be stopping at Pamela's any time I'm in town.

It was delicious. The chicken had a very interesting taste to it. I was different, yet pleasant to my taste buds. The tortilla was very delicious. I enjoyed the meal so much, that I kept eating even though I was full. I had to ask the waiter to take my plate away so I'd stop eating. My Mom had cheese enchiladas. She said they were very good.
