My friend took us here to do some arts and crafts. It was my first time trying something like this is and I loved it! It was such a fun experience to do with friends and I did not know I can be this creative. Upon entering, an employee was sitting at the front and she explained to us the different activities they have available. There is a variety of charms to choose from and some nicer charms are part of the deluxe plan. I chose the single photo frame, and my friends chose the phone chain. It is kind of pricey overall, but I guess it is for the experience. There were a couple times we needed help from an employee, but there was no one around. My friend's chain also broke a few days later, but it was made too loose and then overtightened. Those were my only complaints. Otherwise, this is very fun to do with friends or on a date! I would come back and try something else. The employees were very kind and patient with explaining everything.

Ok, guys! SKIP gym day unless you enjoy that soar feeling lol. We did medium-sized rugs and they took us about 4hrs if not longer! Super fun and super awesome that you can pick any design you want! But, man oh man is this exhausting LMFAO. The employees some not all are very nice! They'll even take over if your arms are tired which is super sweet! Would recommend as a date! Just only thing is you might not get to sit right next to each other): Overall cost for what you get I think it's high but I would still definitely do it again so don't miss out. Take water !!

Came on a Saturday at 1pm I booked an appointment for the small rug. It was packed full of people but they have a lot to do such as making a bracelet or key chain, painting, making a hair clip or even a phone case. There was also the bear paint dipping thing. After you're taught how to use the needle thing for t your rugs you take a seat and it is pre drawn and pick one color at a time and just do your thing. Mines turned out soo cute there was a guy that helped me out sooo much thank goodness for him. I also made a bracelet and it's so cute which I girl helped me out that together too I'll for sure come back!

My daughter and I took a trip to the Fuzz Lab location in Addison after seeing their page on Instagram. It's a very cool concept of different crafting areas within the store. My daughter decided to do the drip bear, and I did the cream clay on an iPhone phone case. The staff was very knowledgeable about the drip bears, and the cream clay and reaching us the steps to do our crafts successfully. My daughter loved the end result of her drip bear, and I was really happy with how my phone case turned out. With the drip bears, they give you the option of up to 3 different colors. But if you decide to do this option just know that you will have to come back within a week to pick it up. With the cream clay, you get two color options and 10 charms to start with. If you need more you have the option to go back as many times as you want to pick more charms. They have a good variety of charms to choose from. I will say it does get busy on the weekends, and space can get limited so if that's an issue I would say to come on a weekday. We had a very fun afternoon for sure.

This place is really fun. However, sometimes they take on more than they can. We had reservations and were not tended to until 30 minutes later bc of other walk ins. They're all super nice but not enough employees to customer ratio. Definitely ask if they have what you're gonna do that day, or else you'll be changing plans of what you can do. Don't be surprised if they seat you with another family. Overall, great places just need more organization.

We all booked online and were able to pick which lamp we wanted to design. I chose the swan lamp. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and once checked in we got situated at a table with a few other guests. I am in love with the space. First off, it's in a business area, and on a Sunday, there was no one else around. My GPS had difficulty finding the exact spot but once I had the suite number it was easy to find. When we walked in you could see how bright and airy this space is. Before the start of class, we had time to chit chat and walk around to get ideas for our lamps. Our teacher (I think her name was Oun?) was super sweet and walked us through each step. The first step is laying out your design. We were served Turkish coffee and a Turkish treat, (for an extra charge) during this step. During the step where we glue on the tiles we were served the pomegranate tea that came with the price of the class. At the end of our 2+ hours we were given instructions on how to make the cement to seal all the mosaic tiles in and once I do that, I will post photos of my finished product. We all had a blast and would 100000% recommend coming here to get artsy.

My 9 year old grandson wasn't too excited to go but once he stepped inside and saw a shark tooth, he was all over it! Even hubby was so impressed and glad he tagged along. My granddaughters found so many pretty things but I limited everyone to two items each. The girls each wanted a shell ring and a turtle jewelry pendant. HUGE selection of jewelry making supplies, including stone, jewels, metal findings, etc. and so many beautifully polished rocks and stone pieces and crystals. The prices seemed very reasonable. After we took the grandkids to the Perot museum last summer and they loved the huge rock displays, my oldest granddaughter wanted a rock tumbler for her birthday. We did fulfill that wish and even helped her tumble a couple of sets of rocks over the month long process. I brought our results with us to the store. I asked the young lady at the counter about what might have happened. The kind older man behind the counter walked by and asked so nicely if he might step in to help. He explained that rocks have different levels of hardness and we could probably get best results by tumbling all like rocks at a time. Makes perfect sense! I was just so impressed at how kind (to us and to each other) and helpful everyone was. I think it was a father (owner perhaps?) and daughter working together and the working relationship was beautiful to experience. Everyone had a great experience at Rock Barrell and can't wait to return!

THEY CLOSE AT 4pm, not 4:30pm on Saturdays. Yelp has it wrong!…read more Until my last experience (the Saturday before Easter), I've had fairly good experiences here. However, after spending over an hour in the car to try to get here from my aunt's house in Greenville, I was rudely yelled at by the owner when entering the store. "We close in 6 minutes!!!" This was the beginning of the end for me... I live in Houston so I only get to come here when I'm in town visiting family or if I make a special trip to come stock up on fabric. I happened to be in town the weekend of Easter and tried to come here on the Friday before Easter, only to find a handwritten sign on the door that they were closed (for Good Friday) and would be open again the next day. That was a bummer, but I asked my husband if we could try to come back on Saturday as I bought fabric from here previously and I needed more of it. My family in the area lives in Greenville, so it was quite a drive to get here from their house. I saw here on Yelp that they close at 4:30pm, so we rushed and I ended up walking in 6 minutes to 4pm. How do I know this? Because as soon as I walked in, the owner screamed "we close in 6 minutes!!!" at me. I responded, "online says 4:30pm and I'm from out of town". She rudely replied "well online is wrong - we've tried to fix it but it's wrong". I rushed to grab my fabric and with 2 minutes left to 4pm, she yelled from the front "are you ready to check out?!" They had already rushed everyone else (all 2 other people) out the door and I was the only one left. Listen, I get that it was a Saturday and you're trying to go home....but you weren't open the day before due to a holiday and you now have a customer in front of you who's ready to spend money and also told you that she's in from out of town... To be treated so rudely, by the OWNER, nonetheless, is absolutely unacceptable. Next time I'm in town, I'm sticking to spending my money at the other 3 fabric warehouses next door as I will NOT be coming back to this place.

Great prices... clean store... bad customer service…read more Today WOULD have been my third visit, except I was RUSHED out the door and told they were closed.. 10 minutes before they actually closed. Then the rude lady who pushed me out the door felt the need to correct me and say it was 5 minutes until closing, and that they didn't have any customers so they were closing early.. It wouldn't be a big deal but I sat in over an hour of traffic to get there and really needed 20 yards of fabric to finish a project that is to install tomorrow. Awful customer service from this particular lady.
