I've been trying to set up a service appointment for a week. Whenever I call, I can hear the call connected as they lift up the phone receiver, then that brief clack of plastic you get when you hang up on someone. The service here is terrible, I had to pay almost 80$ for them to check if my left turn signal wasn't working ??? I told them I needed the socket and if they could fix it but they wanted to charge me more for a diagnostic to see what was wrong with my car after I told them ?? Also when I asked for my car back because I didn't want to pay for that they said they'd still have to charge me 40$ because they took it back to look at it. I'm so disappointed with Kia, it's the worst car, it has gotten broken into twice and stolen once, why make a car so easy to steal that all the have to do is bust open your wheel and push a button and my car is gone. After 8 years of Future Kia service, I'm now a Toyota of Clovis customer. I've been a Future Kia customer since 2016. I did not buy my 2016 Soul here, but every service I've ever done has been here. Their service department is so backlogged. I brought my Soul in for a check engine light in January. My own code reader said catalytic converter. I was told they could work it in over the next 4-6 weeks, and they had no rentals, or I could book an appointment for July. I left frustrated and upset. I wound up with exceptional service at AllTech to get the repair done about a week later. By that time, I was out of warranty and paid out of pocket. I had another light come on recently, in August, and I tried to schedule an appointment again with Future Kia. I attempted to schedule online, but their platform somehow has no record of my information, (I had to call them to check as I had received no confirmation) and a phone conversation resulted with another estimate of weeks to work in or an appointment 5 months out. So last week, after another AllTech repair that only took a few days, I traded in my Soul for a Toyota across the street. Not because I wanted to, but because this dealership and service department has lost my trust in fast, quality repair. I loved my Kia, but the experience over the last year with service has been extremely disappointing. I'm sad to have written this review. I'm not sure what happened in the last year or so, but if you are reading this, consider somewhere else for car maintenance. read more

Update. First of all, I apologize for being over critical on yelp when future Kia called me this morning and the service manager told me I had every right to complain. Turns out they do care about their customers after all, especially when there is a fuel problem. I am taking the car in on Tuesday morning and they are helping me out with everything Once again, I am telling you not to buy a Kia if you live in Fresno county. This is not due to the Kia car, but to the Kia service department, which is always overbooked and weeks, if not months out. I have a warranty extension for a fuel pump problem on my 2018 Sorrento. Of course they do not get reimbursed for this problem so that is one of the biggest issues. I called them. This is how the conversation went. I told him my issue. He said we are out a long ways, but you can bring it in and we will see if we can fit it in. I said in one day he said, oh no, it would be days. I told him I have three daughters with down syndrome and have to transport them to and from their programs and other various activities and I need a car. He said we can't give you one maybe you should rent one. My brain is going, rent one for how long and how much will that cost me and I don't have the money for that. So then I called Selma Kia they are out months. Then I thought I can get my warranty done at another service place. No one will do it because it's not reimbursed to them. So what is my option? I am smelling gas. I'm pretty sure that's not a good thing. I can't rent a car for an undetermined amount of time and no one seems to be able to take this seriously except to tell me not to drive it. As a single woman of 75 years old with these girls, I'm pretty sure that I should dump this car, and get me a different car. Kia has multiple recalls and this one extended warranty that I do know about and I'm not sure how much more that is probably why they are always overbooked. Maybe Kia is the problem. read more

Service Department was scheduled to complete emissions recall work but added an oil change without telling me. When I picked up the car I told them I did not request an oil change and the made it complimentary but changed their minds 4 hours later, wanting me to pay $50. They told me if I didn't pay it they would not service my vehicle in the future! I felt this was totally disrespectful to want me to pay for their mistake and make an ultimatum. I returned and spoke with the service manager Harry who refused to take any ownership and blamed the associate he had call me saying he delivered the message wrong. I gave Harry $100 for the cost of the oil change that I didn't want and my vehicle didn't need and told him that was the last business Future Ford/Kia would get from me and my three Kia vehicles! I bought my car new from them three years ago. Called today, December 12th, to get service done for a couple of warning lights on my car. They told me the soonest they could get me in for a diagnostic was March 11th. They said I could drop it off to see if they could fit it in but it would probably be weeks before they got around to it. They must be doing so good that they can just turn business away. My 2022 Kia EV6 needed its 32,000 mile service performed. The car got four new tires from the dealer I purchased it from, so it didn't need a tire rotation. I also replaced the cabin air filter myself, so that wasn't needed it. All that was needed were some inspections that I felt was better done with a professional. I explained this to Louie when I called a couple of weeks before, and he said that they could perform the inspections free of charge. When my wife brought the car (Nov 15, 2024) , Robert was our service tech (Louie was not there). He performed the service inspection (topped off a fluid) and was done within a few minutes. My wife showed Robert a couple of the scratches I put on the car, He voluntarily provided us with very helpful and professional advice on how to manage the scratches. His reaction and attention to detail to our situation showed us that he cared about us and our car, that he wanted to protect us financially. The only downside to the visit was that when the inspection finished, my wife went inside the service department office with Robert. She waited three to four minutes, only to be told that she could leave since the service was done. Also, we did not get any documentation that confirmed the service was performed. Overall, it was a pleasant experience because the staff (Louie and Robert) was friendly, helpful, and caring. We would definitely consider returning in the future. (This was our first service/experience at Future Kia. I would rate 4.5/5 if I could.) read more

Fast forward so I am looking at the used cars and I see a 2022 KIA Seltos (mind you earlier I said the car online wasn't really what I wanted) the Seltos model was the mom car I was looking for. I instantly fell in love, Eddie took me for a drive in it and we talked about the car and options etc. Future of KIA ran my credit and told me what the payments would be and sadly I could not do it. I left the dealership with a broken heart. Eddie came in contact with me and we negotiated for almost a week when today Thursday 09/12/24 we finally found an affordable agreement for me and the Seltos!!!!! I am horrified. I had an scheduled appointment to get my car worked on tomorrow at this location. A family member called Future Kia a few minutes ago (12/18/2020) and tried to make an appointment and was told that Kia on Shaw is not currently scheduling new appointments. This is because they are running with a skeleton crew because their office has been "RAVAGED BY COVID." So, Kia was going to allow me to take my car in tomorrow without even alerting customers of a significant covid outbreak. So completely irresponsible. I have a 2016 Kia optima who felt under a factory recall, twice I've needed service for major repairs including motor , was never able to get any resolution from kia selma unless it was attitude and lack of interest. Totally opposite to Kia clovis , customer service is excellent. They are so friendly and accommodating, no hesitation to take my car in and provide me with a rental , I felt so relieved and stressed free because of the magnificent way I was treated . I was sort of hesitant on writing this review because I don't actually own a kia nor do I visit this dealership regularly. However, I went with my mom and experienced the awesome customer service. We went because my mom's tires were low. We had to get out and wait and I thought it was going to take forever because places usually try to convince you that you need other things done I was kind of upset but when I walked into their waiting room and saw donuts and coffee AND coloring books for my kids, I was relieved. Yes, thats all it takes to keep me happy. And Kia, you guys thought of everything. the coffee machine they have is amazing. It makes all kinds of drinks from hot chocolate to shots of espresso! We were there for maybe 15 minutes and we were ready to go! The guy came in and told my mom exactly what they did and why her tires were low. Turns out the nitrogen levels decrease when it's cold so they filled it up for her. He was really nice. And that was it! Thanks for taking good care of my mom, kia! read more

It happened that I ran out of gas right in front of this dealer ship in my Mazda car,, the sales department had no problem helping me with a can of gas enough to get me going to the next gas station!!! Purchased 2016 Kia Sorrento in the year of 2018, Extended Warranty was canceled three years early which was financed and paid for but Extended Warranty was canceled. Anyways spoke with service managers spoke with finance managers and nothing was done. Proceeded to report to Better Business Bureau which lowered their rating also Reported to state of California consumer affairs, insurance department investigation unit about this situation and now I have to add they will not honor oil for life or duration of contract 84 months and said it was entered for only 6 years. Spoke with finance manager that has been in position for six months. He agreed the Extended Warranty was supposed to be honored for 84 months and both service manager and finance manager agreed it would be honorable to honor the oil for life if that's what we were told that's what was supposed to be in the contract.we are not professionals at contracts we went off of what they said, and this is where we are at dealing with the garbage morally challenged ownership of key of Clovis purchase at your own risk. Recently refinanced my car loan. I no longer need the gap insurance for my previous loan. I went in twice to talk to someone in finance. The first guy told me to come back with the physical paperwork as soon as I got it. When I came back in the next day the other member of their finance team told me to email it. So I sent the email and have not heard back at all. Not even a confirmation of receipt after requesting one. Then when I call it just rings and rings then hangs up. No voicemail option. Always had it serviced there . so we took into the dealership in dec for engine light they told us the gas cap needed replacing so we did it. Mind you there was open recall out for bearing in the motor at that time we were under 100k miles but did they even look at no! Didn't even mention to us there was a recall. Then they denied the car was even at the dealership in that time. So we here a noise in the engine take it in for service a 40 days ago and they tell us engine is garbage because recall was not done in time well we took it in 2 times when there was a recall and they didn't mention once to us and now that warranty is over they want us to pay 7900.00. The whole service team is disrespectful and rude stay far away. Wife called to check the availability of when we were able to bring in our car for a past recall. The service member insisted there was no recall for our vehicle and was rude about it. Funny thing is she had just gotten off the phone with Kia customer service and they reported there was a specific recall on the issue we were having but now the local dealership says no. This is MY experience. EXCEPTIONAL. Purchasing a car from a distance can be daunting, at best. But that is what you have to do sometimes in this crazy car market frenzy we are in. I needed to take Amtrak 250 miles to get the KIA EV6 I was interested in. The negotiations and subsequent paperwork were clear and concise from Aaron, and dare I say "EASY"... Upon arrival at the train station I was whisked to Future KIA from my sales rep, Vincent, who was extremely patient with me as I "switched my mind" and went with a different car. He didn't skip a beat, as he needed to get my new choice ready to test drive and change all the paperwork. Vincent is a seasoned car salesman and knows how to make a customer comfortable with an otherwise stressful transaction. I think his PINK polo to bring attention to "Breast Cancer Awareness" could have had a logo on it saying "The customer is KING" and lived by it. Future KIA is a beautiful store with a beautiful staff to compliment it. read more

I called Kia to inquire regarding a Craigslist posting and was intrigued. I was told by the salesman that I would be able to meet him and see the car that afternoon. Upon visiting Future Kia I learned that this salesman was "out" with a customer, completely understandable. Less understandable was that the advertised vehicle was unable to be looked at because it was "likely" in the back still being reviewed. Why advertise a car and then agree to show it if it isn't ready to be shown? Also, as a particularly nitpicking note (being a bit harsh, I know), leaving a customer to check something is one thing. Leaving them alone for 10 minutes is another. There are a lot of car-buying options and far more you can do beyond buying a car with $20,000, I'd rather not wait somewhere if I'm going to spend that much in one place. read more

I called before my service appointment in the morning to see how long it would take to get my vehicle serviced I was informed it would be 1hr maybe an hour and a half. Here I am still waiting 4hrs later I went to inquire about how long was left just to be informed my technician went to lunch! Not to mention seeing people who arrived after me leaving before me.
