Garrett was here to fix the shower door and replace gaskets for $150 a year ago for our guest bathroom. He assured us that he'd come back and take a look if the fix didn't hold up. The bathroom is rarely used and the fix didn't hold up. I ordered a mirror in a custom shape here and after I brought it home and hung it up I noticed it was blue/green tinted and much darker compared to the three other mirrors I've had cut by them previously. I called to ask if this was normal and the guy who answered said, and I quote: "Impossible. There's only one kind of clear mirror made in the U.S. and you're looking at it. It's like you're telling me that a number 2 pencil is made with rubber, but it's made of wood. It's clear glass and there's no way it can be a green. You're wrong, I don't believe you. It is what it is." You can tell a lot about a business by how they deal with a mistake and they were incredibly rude. They've lost a customer for life and while this may mean nothing to them, it was a traumatic experience for me to be yelled at. This place is great! I received excellent service when I needed two glass wall dividers in my store. They are anchored on the wall and create separate spaces. Garrett offered excellent suggestions including, but not limited to, using curved edges that would align with the style of the store). He came several times to discuss all my concerns and questions (I had many...) and he was patient and helpful. They were ready to install before I was even ready for them! Amazing! I went to Future Glass to get a piece of mirror cut for an oval ikea frame we bought and wanted to convert to a bathroom mirror. First of all they were DIRT cheap! It was $25 or $30 to get mirror cut to fit the oval frame. They also offered same day turn around, and the piece of mirror was ready for me at the time they said it would be. When I found out they were cash only I had to walk to the ATM BUT when I returned to pay the owner gave me $5 off since he said he forgot to mention it to me when I dropped it off. I refused, but he insisted. And their customer service just gets better... I had only brought them the paper insert for the mirror, not the frame itself and when I got it home the mirror itself was just a little too snug for the frame - it was the perfect size for what I gave them, but paper is a bit more flexible (obviously). I was too stubborn to just take it back and get it sanded down/recut and somehow convinced the mirror would fit. Just as I was wiggling the last edge in, the mirror chipped in 2 places, ruining the piece. It was my own damn fault, so I went back to get another piece cut, it was so cheap anyway I had accepted my own mistake. This time I took the frame in, they turned the new mirror around in a few hours, and they DIDN'T charge me a penny. I wanted to pay, I knew it was my fault, but they wouldn't take my money. In the end it only cost me $20 or $25 (can't remember) and we have a swanky new mirror! I can't recommend them enough, they were so kind, helpful and MORE than generous. A+ read more

When we moved to Burbank, a mirror cracked in our china cabinet. Not a big thing, but the wife refused to put anything in the cabinet until the mirror was fixed. So, I turned to yelp to find a place close by. I called Future Glass, gave them the size of the mirror I needed cut, and the quoted price was very fair and consistent with what I had been quoted by other places that were farther away. The Best service ever! I brought a glass panel in for a lighting fixture that needed to be duplicated. The guy there (ugh, I forgot his name) was so nice. He told me the panels would be ready tomorrow. About 15 minutes after I left the store, I received a call from him telling me he did them and they were ready to be picked up. Wow, so fast! Also, the glass I wanted duplicated he didn't have the exact match for, but he made a different suggestion to go with that was very close. Had an incredibly difficult situation needing experts on glass and engraving. Had one of the windows of my restored and extremely rare 1969 Chevy Suburban ambulance that needed to be replaced. Not only did the glass have to be custom measured and tempered, but I also needed an extensive graphic that had to be duplicated by sand-blasting the image onto the glass. Unfortunately no one in the greater Los Angeles area does custom glass engraving. But that didn't stop Future Glass from finding someone that did an incredible job of recreating the graphic in perfect detail. Rather than just replace one window, I replaced both windows when I saw the quality and workmanship of these "masters of glass". This is the advantage of dealing with a long-time family owned business. They had the right connections and were able to save my classic vehicle. Now things like this take time, and I have a habit of understanding the time it takes to get a job like this done. From start to finish, it took a couple of weeks. If the job comes out as perfect as mine did, I don't mind the wait. After reading some of the negative reviews on this company, the main issue seemed to be "time". If you want a first class job done right the first time, be prepared to wait longer than you expect. Perfection doesn't happen overnight. My highest recommendation and compliments for Future Glass. I have a number of classic car glass needs in the pipeline, and you can bet that all of them will be going to Future Glass. read more

I called to set up an appointment to have someone come out and measure and give me a quote for a steam shower enclosure. The guy said to just give him the measurements and he would give me a price. I tried to explain that it was custom with a trapezoid top and it was not possible as it was truly custom. He asked me to call back when his brother Garret was in. Really? They obviously didn't need or want my business. Why should I have to call back? I already called once? Why couldn't he take my name and number and have his brother call me?
