Unfortunately, coming to El Paso nowadays is usually last-minute, and never a happy thing, as my final remaining family member is... This last time, I was in a rush to get here, and wasn't able to get my hair done before leaving, so I figured I'd find someone to help me while I'm here. I found Sun City Cuts online. I really liked the reviews, so I gave them a call. Shawnique answered the phone and couldn't have been more likable. I was really excited about coming to her. Shawnique called the day before to confirm my appointment, and asked me detailed questions to make sure she'd be fully prepared for my visit. Again, she was wonderful, and very flexible with me. Unfortunately, the morning of my appointment I learned what a complete and utter bonehead I am, because I COMPLETELY misunderstood just how far away the salon is from me. I have no idea how that happened, and I felt terrible about it, since that was obviously my fault. When I called Shawnique to let her know I wasn't going to be able to take that much time away from work, I offered to send her money to make up for the loss. She couldn't have been more understanding about it, even consoling me for being so upset with myself. If you're looking for someone who clearly cares about her job and her customers, I would definitely recommend this place.
