Intellectually Dishonest. I ordered the "First time Haircut, which is a $45 promotion." Arrived on…read moretime, checked in, presented with a beverage, sat down and waited. 15 minutes later, received a cancellation text, so I walk up to the desk and inquire. She checks it out and sorts it out with the stylist, and so I'm up and go to the chair. Stylist apologizes. And proceeds to tell me how she's had a bad day with first time haircuts, and had two "No Shows." And proceeds to tell she had feared I was the third... Perhaps they received a similar text while waiting in the lobby... So I sit down, and she asks me a few questions related to medical history, diabetes? High blood pressure? Hemophiliac? And ask about allergies to lavender or other oils. I let her know I do not do CBD anything, and she says she will note it in my profile. She then proceeds to ask me about my hair and how I would like it. I provide feedback. And then gracefully proceeds to asks me what are we doing with your beard, so I provide feedback. I get my haircut and my beard grooming completed. Upon the completion of this service, it is now time to pay. I walk up and she says, your total is $90 and how much would you like to tip? I respond, "haha, II got the "First Time Haircut" promotion, but the cancellation text might have affected the price." She lets me know, "yes we have you for the promotion first time haircut, and that usually runs $xxx. And you also got the first time beard promotion which is also $45 and usually runs, $xxx. And then the cashier chimes in, but you can switch to the membership for two services for $67/month, but you'll have to remember to cancel or you'll be automatically charged next month. So at this point, I don't trust their business practices, because it appears they are being intellectually dishonest with the customers. A little bait and switch... With the first time customers who are unfamiliar with their cost structure. So I take my licks, pay the full price, tip the stylist $25 cash cause the time in the chair getting a haircut and beard worked well, so I tip well to let them know, you could've made a lot more in tips from me in the future, had you been honest with me. I don't see myself going there again, unless I'm in a bind. Anyway, proceed with caution. Honestly, I like the haircut. I like the beard trim. She did a great job. I probably would've left with a membership, but I don't do business with companies/staff I can't trust.

Best barber shop experience ive maybe ever had in all my years. John really took care of me…read more Great haircut and beard line up, look like a new man.

It's fine. They could use a credit card machine. Two old school dudes. They should be clearer on…read morethe pricing.

Five barbers although probably two full time weekly and three to four working the weekends. People…read moresmile and greet you when you walk in. Old style shop like when I was a kid. Could definitely see people hanging out here and shooting the breeze. Closed on Sunday. 9-5 Saturday and 9-6 the rest of the week. About eleven chairs to sit in while you wait. Magazines. Few board games for the kids. Medium sized bin with toys to play too. No wifi. They do shoe shines though! Mexican candy. Doritos and lays chips. Snickers and M and M's (Both peanut and regular chocolate.) Fridge nearby with soda and water. Prices are reasonable for grabbing a snack while you wait or something for the kids while your hair is cut. Hot towel shaves. Clipper and scissor cuts. Checks or cash. They do have a sign warning "hot check writers" that they will be reported for collections and prosecution. Wrote all of that and I'm still waiting to get my hair cut. Very impressed. Two people before me but they shave and take extreme attention to detail. A quality cut worth a bit of wait for the attention they give each customer. Haircut was decent. Went over my head a number of times. Passed the mirror back and forth to show me progress. Blow you off and do the normal talcum brush. Straight razor your neckline and front. Also massage your back and shoulders before you get out of the chair. Didn't get a neck shave or shampoo but I'm sure it's a great experience. It's the little touches. Light in the window even said "thank you come again," I certainly will next time in the area.
