I have never, in my life, experienced worse customer service for anything, Communication from this service department at this dealership is completely absent. Do not expect to know anything about your car at any point. There is no point in making an appointment because you won't know how long or when you can get your car back if you have warranty issues. You can't call and talk to anyone. You call and get sent to a call center & the Call center can't get a hold of them either. THIS BUSINESS IS OBVIOUSLY DESPERATE FOR REVENUE. Most reviews mention overcharging or shady practices resulting in customers being out hundreds if not thousands of dollars BY SURPRISE! There is a reason why THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THIS specific location has a tremendous(15/20) amount of one star reviews just within the past year or so!!! Maybe the next person who has a one star experience COULD be you? Future Automotive Group,as a whole, lacks the integrity to have in-house customer service department; if you have a customer service issue, they will refer you to Stellantis which does absolutely nothing for your situation, not to mention the language barrier calling offshore, outsourced services. So if you do end up being one of those ones who randomly has a bad experience, there is no course of action for remedy! After waiting FIVE months for a situation to get resolved, I finally had to seek legal assistance . Amazingly enough after I got my attorney involved, the situation was resolved in five days. I was driving around with a warped cowel panel and defective windshield(under warranty)for 5 months, which eventually led to water intrusion in my brand-new vehicle that didn't even have 3,000 miles on it yet! Prior to getting the situation resolve: While determining who is gonna pass the buck to who and who is trying to blame who else for the defective windshield; They had my car for THREE weeks only to determine that it was covered under warranty. I did not ask them to do the 5,000 mile service on my car but they went ahead and did it anyway and charged me $380.. I took it in for a defective windshield. They did nothing for that, but figured out a way to charge me money. Even though the vehicle is under warranty, Future Automotive Group provided no loaner or no rental for the THREE weeks that they had my car just sitting there, not even an offer to. My awful experience with this dealership started about 6-9 months back. I drive a Ram 2500 6.7L and I brought it in for an alignment. As I was driving home, I could feel my truck was still pulling to the right. I try multiple surface streets and the freeway, still pulling. The following week I took my truck to another shop for an alignment. After I leave there, it's totally fine. Well, recently my wife brought in her jeep to have the axel seals looked at after a mechanic had noticed it but was not qualified to perform the job. I get the invoice estimate back and see there are four jobs that need to be done. Immediately I notice the math isn't mathing. Turns out, there was four different labor rates. Each jobs labor rate ranged from $245 - $309. I call them to ask what their rate is and explain the issue. Whoever answered told me they didn't know what was going on and that they were going to have to ask someone else. They come back and tell me that it was some type of error but didn't specify. They correct it and send me the new one. Cool. So a few hours later when I get off of work, I call them back to re-address the labor rate issue. The reason being that the estimate was quite high and I want some assurance that what had happened earlier was corrected. I call and talk to Haley, the service manager. I start explaining the situation and she tells me that she is the one I spoke to earlier and asked if the second invoice was wrong again. I told her no and that I just wanted to know how that happened because I have never had that happen before. I got a mix of different reasons but was also told that they always double check everything before the customer actually pays. I'm not really buying that. The conversation just didn't seem genuine so I just elected not to go back which I'm glad I didn't. I took the jeep to a different place to get my brakes done because that was one of the jobs on the invoice and they told me my brakes and rotors are totally fine. I brought the Jeep to Stellar Built Off-Road in Sacramento and they fixed the seals for a quarter of the price. Oh! Called for a diesel fuel filter change because there wasn't an option for the online request. I was quoted $189 on the phone which is reasonable considering the parts and mess alone in changing. Get to the appointment and I asked to double check the quote and it's now $460! I said sorry your phone appointment manager said differently. He stated the phone appointment goes to a call center not to them. There is a problem right there. I then said your website quotes $189 for an oil change he said that's not right either. And gave me a quote of $328! He then proceeded to go to their own website and put my VIN in and the quote came out to $189. Again he said that's wrong. Where to begin. Bought a 2021 Ram Laramie ECO Diesel for $69,000 in Sept 2021. Connecting rods weren't tightened properly at the factory and motor basically started coming apart internally due to low oil pressure as the oil was basically leaking past he bearings. No review written at that time as it wasn't their fault it was a factory issue. Although I was irritated at the process but it was mid covid and everything was difficult. They offered to buy my truck back for $19,000 less than I paid and put me in a new truck I said no that's not going to happen, that is a joke. It took 45 days to get a new motor installed and they rented me a jeep to drive for 30 days so I had transportation. Here's where the problem really starts. 13 months after I received my truck back Hertz tried to bill my credit card $1,120.00. I was alerted by my bank fraud department and refused the transaction. I cancelled the card and got reissued a new card. Now I am receiving letters from Hertz claiming they will be taking me to collections if this invoice is not paid within 10 days. Adrees the GM does not work there and Luke the new GM says he's handling it. I bought the Truck in Fairfield but it's being billed and paid by the Concord office which I've never dealt with so it's kind of a mess to know who to talk to. The whole issue is a joke. I have hand written notes af all the conversations and 20 emails going back and forth during the whole process. I needed to have my car serviced within a tight time frame and servie at this location is first come first serve. I showed up early on a Friday morning for an oil change and talked to Vinny. Every time I have called or spoken to someone, it's either Vinny or Dave. Both men are kind, professional and friendly. They got me in quickly and set up a Lyft to pick me up. I initially gave this place five stars because they talk a good talk. After getting the check engine light serviced here, my car would not pass smog. I'm kept trying to contact the dealership and no one would call me back. My husband took the car back and they printed out google instructions on completing a drive cycle. We have driven the car over a thousand miles at this point and it still won't pass. My thoughts?? They originally couldn't find what was triggering the check engine light so they kept it for like a week, made up something so they can charge us and turned off the check engine light hence that's probably why it won't pass smog. The service department scheduler needs to be replaced. They held on to my vehicle for over 24hrs and not one thing was accomplished. Vehicle was dropped off thursday morning, I was asked if I wanted to wait or come back, I left and called to check on the vehicle after lunch and was told that the 20k services were completed but I would need to leave it overnight for other issues to be address. (door not locking etc.) I was also told that everything would be completed first thing in the morning. So, I left it overnight and got a rental. Arrived around 10am the following morning, not only was it not done but I was lied to about the 20k services having been accomplished. Got breakfast and came back just before lunch. Vehicle had yet to even be seen by techs. This is fully on the scheduler for scheduling a vehicle to be dropped off a full 24hrs before techs would even have a chance to get it in and for lying about what was accomplished in order to lull me into leaving it overnight. I lost time and rental car money. Hire a scheduler that understands how long it takes techs to accomplish work, maybe a prior tech?? This is likely done on purpose in order to try and generate as much profit as possible by overlooking and making people feel like their vehicle is just about to be seen, its next, almost done.... read more

While driving our Ram 2500 on the Highway on a Friday afternoon it suddenly slowed to about 40 mph. We limped it to the side of the road and found the Future Dodge dealer so slowly drove it there. The service writer, Vinnie, pulled it into the garage area as an emergency repair. The mechanic quickly diagnosed the issue and, since we were just in the area for a short time, was able to resolve the issue within about one business day. Car dealerships cannot sell a car for more than the advertised price. This is illegal and considered a common scam, known as "Bait and Switch" or false advertising. Even if you did not see the advertisement, the dealer cannot sell a vehicle for more than the lowest advertised price. Dirty business practices. Don't believe the asking price that shows online. It's false advertising. Looked at a Wrangler that was showing MSRP and a "sale" price and the asking price was almost 14k more than what is showing on the web page as they want to charge for upgrades they did without true transparency. I should have stopped my business with this dealership when my truck was stolen off their lot while waiting for service since they didn't use to lock up customer keys. Bought a used truck and was told I needed to wait on parts they were replacing before I could take it home. In this case, it was as simple as a fuel filter. Check engine light came on and searched the codes. Thermostat is bad and while searching, found that both the oil life and fuel filter life were at 8% life remaining. Haven't even driven the truck 1k miles yet. So they sold me a truck without doing a old change or the promised fuel filter change as well. At the same time, when financing, we asked for them to use our preferred credit union which was available. They promised to not run my credit multiple times(it hurts your credit when they do) and now I have three credit inquiries on the same purchase. I've tried getting the service department to help me, and no one answers the phone or returns any calls. Our sales agent ignores my request to get help, and I have yet to get anyone to call me back after multiple attempts. I finally changed the oil and fuel filters myself and the truck should have never left the dealership with that bad of filters and oil. read more

These guys are complete crooks. This is my second negative experience at this location. I recently brought my vehicle to be serviced. Their communication is poor and after calling numerous times looking for an update on the diagnosis, a service member gave me a vague update. Once they sent over their overpriced quote, they couldn't explain what was actually going on nor could they justify the amount they were asking. The diagnostics were $245. They failed to give me a specific details of what they found. I had my vehicle towed to a great auto shop in Vallejo and they found NUMEROUS issues with it the vehicle and were honest, telling me I was best to trade it in than put more money into the vehicle. They were stunned to hear that Future never found the issues they did and were disappointed for me in their dishonesty to customers. I went to Fairfield dodge a total of five times trying to get a oil change first time they told me come before 1:30 second time I was told before 12 third time I walked in they said before 11 all the other times they wouldn't do my oil change in under 3/4 hours. Crickets. 2 weeks and they still had not even looked at it. Said they were short staffed. I had to call them every few days. They never called me. The service guy Tim was always out sick or just plain unhelpful. Finally after 3 weeks of zero progress and gaslighting, I had it towed to a mechanic my friend recommended, and he fixed the issue in under 15 minutes. It was simply an wire that needed replacement.
