Lauren provided exceptional service! After holding onto a tape for several months that was meant to be given to me years ago, I finally had it converted. Lauren efficiently transformed my short tape into a digital file, allowing me to store it on my phone indefinitely. Her quick turnaround and high-quality results were impressive. The pricing was reasonable, although the value of preserving cherished memories is truly priceless. My family and I are now eager to find more tapes to convert, thanks to Lauren's fantastic work. read more

Forfeiting nostalgic VHS tapes over to someone not in my family tree took courage on my part. The reassuring care, excellent service, and super quick turnaround time was Future Analog's part. Very happy. Thank you. read more

Future Analog was such a great choice! I've had a stack of Hi8 tapes that needed video conversions FOR YEARS. Lauren replied within 24hrs and I was dropping the tapes off that very day. The whole process was a breeze. She communicated easily every step of the way, timely answering follow-up questions and even taking on a last minute extra tape (that was stuck in a camcorder). In such a short time (2 weeks?) I now have a hard drive full of great-looking files that I can edit. If you're in need of a media house that cares about the service they provide, offers competitive rates and is just pleasant to work with, Future Analog should be your choice as well! read more

I am so pleased with Lauren's work! I had three VHS tapes I was interested in converting to digital to preserve them, and because...well, I don't remember the last time I saw a VCR in the wild. I reached out to Lauren and had a quote the next day. She laid out my options super clearly so I was able to make the right choices for formatting and storage (I was able to purchase a new drive directly from her). Coordinating drop off and pick up was easy, she worked with my husband's schedule since he did the actual tape chauffeuring since he works in the area. Turnaround was super quick, only a couple weeks but I wasn't in a rush. The quality is excellent! Everything is clearly labeled in the drive so I know what I'm navigating through. As I gather other old items I plan on preserving, Lauren will be my only contact - would look forward to working with her again! read more

Lauren was clear and businesslike regarding the order. Her accounting regarding payment was accurate. She gave a time-frame that was longer than I would have liked, but since it's a one-person operation, I understood. She delivered as (and when) promised, and the programs fit neatly onto a USB flashdrive, making it easy to transfer the files to my Mac. Should I need to transfer cassette or other media, such as VHS recordings into digital media, I'd use Future Analog again. read more

Lauren is THE best! After an unfortunate and unpleasant experience with iDigitize, I had a VHS emergency where I needed my VHS to be turned into a digital file ASAP. Lauren was faster, cheaper and so much more friendly than iDigitize. Will definitely return for any other video transferring needs!! read more

I have nothing but praise for Future Analog. I recently had an old VHS tape digitized by them, and was very pleased with the results. It came out looking great! The price was very reasonable and the turnaround time was incredibly quick. Lauren is very nice and offers top-notch customer service. She does a great job communicating and helping you figure out the exact specifications of your order. In short, this is a wonderful local business, and I would highly recommend going to them for all your digitization needs. read more

I brought in my mom's childhood VHS to be transferred to DVD & Lauren did an amazing job! She is super responsive & professional. She had it done sooner than projected date & for a great price! The tape had footage from the 70s and they were crystal clear on the DVD. I will definitely be using her again when I find more of my old VHS tapes. read more

After having a really bad experience at a larger company I came here and got a quote for the same service that was 1/3rd of the price I got at the other company. Future Analog was able to take my uncle's old Video 8 tapes full of family memories and digitize them into a various amount of formats. They gave me some .MOV files for my cousin's macbook, as well as raw files for him to edit. Along with that, they gave my uncle some .AVI files on a flash drive for safe keeping and all at his request, also made a DVD for him to be able to enjoy and watch much like he did those old video 8's. The service was fast and accommodated to our needs. We were even able to get the tapes picked up and it was in their care and returned safely in a timely manner. I couldn't recommend their service enough. edit: After being in communication with Future Analog, I also found out that they digitize photos and have other services, such as cassette tape duplication, that I plan to utilize in the future. A real pleasure. read more

Future analog does a great job! I've had few old tapes in PAL format which was popular in Europe centuries ago. I was looking for a company who can digitize it, but many of them weren't able to dealing with it because didn't have appropriate equipment. But It wasn't an issue for Lauren at Future analog, who quickly found the way to resolve the problem, she simply bought everything online and made all tapes with priceless memories eternal. Thank you very much for it! read more

I sent them 35mm color and black and white negatives. Lauren was very communicative in a couple emails. They did the work earlier than promised and the work was great. I purchased a USB flash drive from them for the files. They shipped it all back safely. I paid via credit card online. The only hiccup was I used UPS and they had to make 3 delivery attempts as they apparently were not able to delivery to the desk accepting the packages for some reason. They specifically said not to use US Mail as it gets lost in their zipcode/building. I would highly recommend them. I have 6 years experience doing my own 35mm film scans years ago with a Nikon Coolscan5000 scanner and no longer have it and used this service for negatives from 19 years ago. read more

I needed to digitize the content of a 20-year-old DAT, a small job. I was told it would take 5-7 days. Alex, the owner of Future Analog, vastly exceeded my expectations by finishing the job within 24 hours. The transfer was flawless. He also did some tasteful remastering, and the sound quality was top-notch. He e-mailed a ZIP file to me, which I was easily able to download in DropBox. However, for some strange reason, I was unable to change the song titles. I tried a few workarounds but couldn't solve it. No problem, though. Alex re-sent me the file as individual MP3s, at no extra cost. Voila! He really went the extra mile for me. This was an excellent customer service experience. I highly recommend Future Analog for your tape transfers! read more

Future Analog was a great find. I had been doing some research on VHS conversion services and this service was priced very reasonably. I worked with Lauren who was very helpful and organized. She completed the job extremely quickly and was able to fix broken tapes, convert VHS tapes into .AVI file. In addition, she could convert DVD-R as well. She followed up right away outlining the service and expected pick up date. This company is, in fact, as good as it gets! I recently asked Future Analog to convert a twenty-year-old PAL VHS tape to NTSC format and then transfer it to both a DVD and a Flash Drive. Lauren assured me that she could do the work and we trusted her. My online order was placed at the height of the holiday, so naturally I wasn't expecting exactly speedy service. How wrong I was! The tape was picked up the day after my online order and the finished product was delivered on the agreed upon date, with a smile, only five days later (including a weekend). The quality of the work was excellent, so much so that we'll be entrusting Lauren with additional tapes and films to convert in the future. I was impressed by Lauren's overall professionalism: she exuded competence, efficiency and courtesy, and I hasten to add that the price for their service was extremely reasonable. It is such a delight to work with a local business that keeps its promises. My recommendation for Future Analog comes with not the slightest reservation. read more

Lauren at Future Analog was such a pleasure to work with! I worked with Future Analog to digitize about 16 family VHS cassettes and tapes from the late 1980's and early-mid 1990's. Lauren communicated with me often with updates about the digitization and even picked up and dropped off the files/tapes. It was a very quick turn around! They are VERY reasonably priced and were so professional is every aspect possible. I plan to work with them for other services in the future! Thank you so much for bringing these memories back to life!! read more

I got Kool aid, no sugar; peanut butter, no jelly; Ham, no burger and mini discs, no mini disc player. Lauren at FA took care of it. Cheaper and easier than buying an MD player and figuring out the software to get these converted to wav files (about 7 hours of live recordings). Professional yet friendly, and customer service oriented in a way only a small business can be. Now time to get back to rocking out to 10 year old jams. read more

Lauren and the team at Future Analog we're fast, courteous and took good care of my materials. I received my files on time and my tapes back in perfect condition. Lauren at Future Analog did a fantastic job scanning my father's 2,000+ slides. She color corrected them at our request, so many of the pictures look like they were taken yesterday and not 40 years ago. We've been sharing the slides with friends and family and various online photography groups. My father is so pleased that he asked if we could scan the rest of his slides--and he never asks for anything! Lauren is professional, talented and great to work with. I decided to digitize my mom's thousands of family photos as a Christmas gift to her, and wanted to find a local business as I was anxious about the risk (and cost) of shipping so many precious photos. I found Future Analog through a web search and couldn't be more glad that I did. Lauren was incredibly friendly and responsive, and all communications were very clear. My project was quite large (we digitized close to 15,000 photos!) and involved removing and replacing photos in albums, so it was a gargantuan task which Lauren somehow managed to achieve very quickly despite it being Christmas time. I had movers transport the photos to and from the studio and Lauren was very accommodating about that process. She was also very clear and transparent about the pricing structure (there are differences for photos of varying sizes, photos that are in albums, edited files etc) so there were no surprises when the final bill arrived and the project was complete - unless you count the beautiful little hand-calligraphed box containing the flash drive with the photos, which Lauren personally dropped off at my apartment! My mother said it was the best gift anyone has ever given her, and has already begun packing up the rest of her photos and old home videos to send to Future Analog for round two. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else, and would unreservedly recommend them to anyone with a project large or small. read more
