She said, "okay thank you, bye," and hung up on me. Never use again, never recommend.

Some of the contractors I had contacted had yet to reply 24 hours after my call or email. Those who did reply were vague as to the time to repair my problems. Shawn was upfront with all I asked of him. His show up plus first hour fees were higher than other quotes, but my instincts told me to choose Shawn. He arrived on time, went right to work, and wasted not his or my time! He answered all my questions as he worked. I was very pleased and will recommend anyone reading this to work with Shawn! I meant to post this a week ago, but things got a bit busy…read more I want to start by saying that my AC went out recently...warmest two days we had this spring. We made a call to Lake Gaston HVAC and set up an appointment for when we would be back to the lake. He worked around our schedule and and showed up earlier than planned. His knowledge of the systems was incredible as I was just trained in the history of my insufficient unit I had in place. He provided me with two options of which my wife and I went with option 2. Option 1 was to refull the freon again, which should not be leaking. We bought a new unit and air mover. We knew it was time but we were not ready last year. So, we set up a date and time. The install went without any issues and we were up and running with peace of mind. I highly recommend Pat and LAKE GASTON HVAC, which I have already done to my neighbor. Thank you!!!!

What you've read in the company's overwhelmingly positive reviews was validated by our experience with Pat. We're confident Lake Gaston HVAC will earn your long-term loyalty. They said they had to come out to take a look and the cost was $125 JUST TO GET AN ESTIMATE! I come from a family of plumbers (they don't live in the area), I had a picture of the wall, I knew the existing pipes were pex. I texted my master plumber kbrother what I needed and a picture for a ball park estimate of what he would charge and he texted me back a price in 30 secs. What a load of C#$^@! Why should I have to pay them to give them my business!!! So I pay $125 for them to give me an estimate on non urgent work, then I decide their price is too high and I'm out $125 for what?! Just call someone else. This is a terrible customer service premise. I can see exactly how they feel about their community. I am still so angry that I spent the extra energy just to give them a bad review. My family never did business this way.
