I have been going to Fusion salon for years. The salon (especially since the recent gorgeous remodel) is so nice and very clean. They have the most talented hairstylists. Every stylist I've met has been warm, friendly and inviting. They are absolute masters at their craft. Pure art. I've recommended Fusion Salon to everyone I know for years. Shawna, the owner, is always there making everyone feel welcome and providing useful tips for everyone. I personally see Megan - she's a magician when it comes to color and different methods of installing hair extensions. They carry all of the Aveda products your heart desires along with Smashbox cosmetics. They're in a super convenient part of town. If you want to feel like a glammed up diva, or a cute girl/guy next door vibe - go check them out!! 100/10 recommend!! read more

Found my new salon! Allie brought my hair literally back to life. Best color I've had in a very long time. And her personality and transparency I love. She was amazing! And Abigail did my daughter's hair from a dirty blonde to a very blonde in one session ! She was fantastic and my daughter is fawning over her hair. Back in 8 weeks to get her more blonde like she wants. This is a great salon and it's definitely our new home salon. read more

My first appointment was my last. From the moment I came in, it felt odd. The vibe was super strange. There was no receptionist or anyone checking me in. I was told by someone doing hair to sit at the tall table in back. 10-15 min later, someone walked over & asked who my appointment was with & offered water. She said Abigail was just finishing. About 20 min later, with no one saying a word to me again, I finally left the salon. Was very disappointed. read more

Best salon in jax 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming and high end experience

Been going to Megan for as long as I can remember. She always knows exactly whats going to look great for me. I loved the salon before they became an Aveda salon but now they have all the products I love too. The salon itself is super clean and recently had a big renovation. Definitely a place to get quality services and products read more

Abigail was absolutely fabulous listened to my wants and made them happen. The salon is clean organized and the staff is very friendly. I enjoyed my time they even let my sister and I sit next to each other while getting our hair cut. Very professional and overall a fantastic experience. Honorable mention to Carly she did great on my sister's hair as well. We will be back you should go try fusion definitely worth the time. read more

First time at this salon and I'm obsessed with my haircut. I got layers and a curtain bang trim, and I'm so glad I came here to do it. It was pretty quick and the stylist was professional. It was a relaxed atmosphere and the cost was very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend this salon! read more

I finally found a salon that could help me ease into growing out gray hair by adding additional silver highlights to match my existing gray, as opposed to blonde highlights. Vilma was my stylist, and she actually listened to what I was trying to accomplish and took the time to look through several pictures with me. She also understood that I was going for low maintenance and didn't try to push product on me and suggested that I only come in about every six months for a fresh cut and a toner application to keep the silver bright. When it was time for my cut after the highlights, she suggested we blow dry my hair first so that we could see the layering as she was cutting, which was a really good idea. I also felt the prices are better than what you would pay at a chain salon. I was very pleased with my visit and even though I travel back-and-forth to Texas, I will definitely have my hair touched up at Fusion! Thank you Vilma!!! read more

Sooo .... you know what happens when you think you can be your own stylist? ..... YOU FAIL, lol!!! I tried doing my hair 2 weeks ago and failed BIG TIME!!! I had a very bad experience, Megan cut my hair uneven, one side was longer then the other, gave me short layers explained I want long layers. Megan was very, unfriendly and bad uncaring attitude. I paid for a hair treatment, my ear was burning laying with my head in sink, had to yell to her my ear is burning where she put steam, I wasn't even told about treatment with steam. I paid $180 and still tipped her. This was the first and last time I would ever go back. Being a first time client it was an awful, nightmare and very mistreated. Very unprofessional and rude and overpriced! I'd try to impress first time client not mistreat them!! Stay away, save your money! Probably the academy would have been better! ! read more

Fusion is the best salon I've ever been to. The hairstylists are amazing. I have tried out different colors and styles and they have all turned out great. Karly is awesome! Everyone at the salon is so friendly and nice. I always leave feeling beautiful. read more

Hair cut and color great, but the location is not handicap friendly and made it tough to get comfortable as not only a big women, but just had surgery and was miserable wanting it to just be done! The staff is nice. read more

This has been my second haircut with Karly and she's amazing! Before coming to fusion I was constantly left disappointed by the outcome of my haircuts. Despite my description and reference pictures no one seemed to get it right. Karly was the first person to ask multiple questions and thoroughly explain the process which made me feel comfortable. I'm so happy to have found her! read more

I was so excited to go back and get my hair done since the first time I went it was absolutely perfect. Perfect cut, style and color. This time was different. I asked for dirty blonde that looks very natural. Didn't want my hair to look "done". I also asked for my bangs to be cut a little shorter and got talked out of that because curtain bangs are supposed to be long. But regardless, I wanted them shorter. I left the salon with a shitty styling, no bang styling and a grey color with streaky blue grey highlights. Unbelievable. Never going back. read more

Really hate to leave a bad review, but a horrible job done right before graduation had me in tears. Just spent $75 to get the minimum fixed (luckily I had a connection and they squeezed me in tonight before my graduation tomorrow).. still need to go back and pay another $75 to finish the fix. Not to mention I paid over $200 for her to ruin my hair. So I came here looking for a little root tough up to blend into the rest of my hair. She ended up doing huge bleach highlights all over. The color was way too bright at the roots and didn't match. The top was a cool ashy blonde and my ends a warm blonde (which matched my skin tone-I look horrible with ashy blonde) and some places were grey. There were a couple spots that were literally white. I showed a picture of the cut I wanted with lots of layers and got an uneven cut and no layers. I asked for a little cut of and then 5 inches were gone.. not to mention the left side wasn't highlighted properly so it looked like steps on the side. The lady who I went to to fix it pointed out everything I saw wrong. She said it was really bad and as she kept looking to assess the worse it got. I took lots of pictures, but to stay anonymous I will not post them. During the wash the new stylist said that my hair looked too complete different colors and it looked insane. I wore a hat since the time I got it done till the time it got fixed. read more

Stacy was fantastic! I am new to the area and haven't had luck in finding my new "forever" hairdresser until I tried a Groupon for a cut, style and partial highlight with Stacy at Fusion Salon! I love that Fusion is an Aveda Salon Great atmosphere, chic, sleek, and updated. Stacy did a fabulous job on my highlights and hair cur & style! (It's been an embarrassing length of time since I had my hair done ) Needless to say, Stacy had her work cut out for her, literally! I will definitely be back for Stacy again.... see ya in 6-8 weeks!!! read more

Megan is so GOOD and fast! She did an excellent job and fulfilled my vision. She gives an excellent wash. Very good with color. Very clean and efficient. Plenty of parking and convenient to 95. (Side note) I'm extremely picky so to pull off what I wanted on the first visit impressed me! read more

Branden is fantastic. He did my wife's hair and she loves the color that she got as she is working towards another color. Not really sure what the whole process is, but he knows his hair. He also cut my hair in the middle of her hair taking the color. He cut it exactly the way I wanted and dealt with me thinking different ideas as he was lopping my over grown mane off. Finally have someone to come to on a normal basis that will get me the results that I am looking for. Plus my wife has been here a few times as well and she is over the moon with Branden's service. Would love to give him an extra star for not talking my ear off too. If you want to chat, he will. If you want to just relax and get pretty, he'll keep his mouth shut. read more

I went to this salon for the first time in July to talk to Shawna about hair extensions. She explained the process to me and I made an appointment for the following week. I was a little bit reserved about getting them as I had gotten them one time before by a different salon and they damaged my hair super bad. Shawna did an awesome job and I am on week 6 and still completely happy and in love with them. I will definitely have her put them back in. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Fusion! I have been going here for 8 years and have been to every stylist in the salon. They all listen and give you their professional opinions on whether something will work or not. I am so obsessed with their blowouts that I go every week! read more

I recently was looking for a salon in Jacksonville due to splitting my time between Jacksonville and Gainesville for rotations in school. I found fusion through Groupon and booked online with Vilma. She asked me what I wanted and guided me in the right direction. I embarrassingly haven't gotten my hair highlighted in a really long time and had severe grow out and yellowing. She showed no judgement and was so fast with the foils and left me with a PERFECT icy blonde. It wasn't until after the big reveal that she gently suggested buying a purple shampoo to prevent the yellowing (not even pushing their product, just trying to help!) She even was totally understanding with me studying the whole time in the chair and worked away while I did flash cards. I scheduled my return appointment with her as soon as I paid! Thx Vilma! read more

Meh. Wasn't bad wasn't great. Expected more out of an Aveda salon, they've always been a safe bet. They switched our stylist when we arrived. The cut came out well but nothing like what we asked for. She did well on the blow out though. So we are satisfied overall. Just used to a lot more pampering than we received, felt like a Supercuts atmosphere, not an upscale business. read more

Megan does an amazing job cutting my hair. My hair is naturally very curly and I always have a challenge finding someone who can do my hair. Every time she cuts it, it is exactly how I want it and she is very mindful of keeping the length. I recommend if you have curly hair and need someone to give you a trim she's your girl! read more

Love this salon! Great atmosphere and super friendly staff! Ive been going to Stacey and i absolutely love her! Shes so cool and does exactly what I want! I struggled for so long to find someone to do a white blonde and Stacey does it amazingly! Shes so fun to talk with and makes the experience amazing! Would definitely recommend her if youre blonde or going blonde! My mom also goes to her for her hair (shes a brunette) and is thrilled with the results when she leaves. 11/10 would recommend Stacey and Fusion Salon! (: Sarah B read more

I went because I had a Groupon coupon. The shop itself was ok. The stylist, Megan was not. It was a TERRIBLE experience with her, the worst I've ever had in a salon - so difficult to communicate with her. She refused to trim my hair the way I wanted (as it was currently cut) because she said it wouldn't look good. I don't think she's happy getting Groupon customers. It was so uncomfortable I almost left without anything being done (regardless of spending $45 on Groupon). I did stay, but didn't really get what I wanted. I finally just wanted out and didn't even care that my highlights weren't really the light brown I wanted nor was the style what I wanted. I left her a tip although I should not have, she didn't earn it. It was raining when I left and I just let the rain wash out the style. Live and learn and now I know not to go back, well not to her for sure. I've heard, since my visit, Rachel is very good. read more

I Was excited to get a Groupon for my first time in and it was easy to get an appointment. I asked for Brandon because he had good reviews and well I just had a gut feeling he'd be good. And I was right! I usually have my own vision and thoughts from pictures but never know the hair lingo so I do my best to explain what Im looking for. But let me start from the beginning...I was a mess, roots out of control and hadn't had a trim in a few months- #mommylife. Im glad he remained real with me after looking at my hair, explained to me what he thought was best and the end result made me want to paint the town red. I could tell Brandon really cared about his job and was willing to help me in my time of need. He remained positive even when I thought I was bringing him a disaster of a hairdo. We laughed, we talked, we shared stores... I really like when my hair stylist can engage, yet keep focused. It was a good balance for both of us. When I bought my groupon I thought that would take care of everything but his tip...but he said since I had a lot of hair and something about my roots Id be charged extra $20. It was only $20 but it was unexpected so it was kind of a bummer. In the end it was totally fine and I get it, I dont know the behind the scenes so I cant tell if it was a legit price or reason. I am ecstatic about the results and made a future appointment so I wouldnt be a hot mess again, well at least not my hair... Definitely recommend fusion, all the stylist were friendly, the place was simple and clean! read more

I came to Fusion because I had a Groupon (excellent price by the way) that is offered to new customers, and no current hairstylist. I went to Katie because she had some Saturday openings and great reviews. She did my hair in impeccable time, it was unbelievable. She did a full foil highlight, Trim, toner and blow dry in just over two hours! Wow! I hate sitting at the hair salon all day and she did great. Not only was she quick, she did a great job. The color looks great! On top of my Groupon, I did get charged $20 for toner, so if you buy the Groupon and are getting highlights be ware that that may also apply to you. read more

I heard about Fusion Salon via a Groupon special and scheduled an appointment for today. Fusion Salon is conveniently located on the Southside in Jacksonville and has a fun and modern feel and lovely staff. Luckily, the best hair stylist, Stacey, was slotted for my appointment and I'm so grateful that she was! I told Stacey about my hair journey and that my bridal shower and wedding are coming up and that my hair was in dire need of an upgrade! Stacey quickly assessed my hair color, texture and style and instantly put her magic touches on the color and cut. She also styled my hair to give me a wedding hair sample - which was fantastic! Don't hesitant to visit Fusion Salon and ask for Stacey! read more

Horrible service, they are pushy and money hungry. I went for a simple hair cut and blowout, they tried to sell me hair extensions and Brazilian blow out! which I don't need. The lady made me wait while she was attending to another costumer even though I had an appointment. I left on a hurry as I was disgusted with her, later, I noticed that one side of my hair longer that the other. I tried to complaint and wanted to speak to owner who never returned my calls. I wanted to deny the charges, however, I am a Christian and I figure she probably needs the money more than I. read more

Poor quality hair ordered from China. The FN Longlocks game- The tape in are put in the hair by hand and not "clamped in" by a tool so they fall out easily. When they are brought back to be reinstalled the customer is charged a - $50 'maintenance fee' . Absolute rip off. Megan is rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful to clients. You have been warned. Update- I had my hair reinstalled several times not with new hair, with the hair I had brought back in a baggie that had fallen out and was charged each time. read more

I originally found out about Fusion through a coworker, a little over a year ago, and have been going back ever since. ***I highly recommend booking your appointment with Megan... she has seen me at my worst (the first time I went in was pretty bad, from a previous hairstylist) and I walk out every time with a smile on my face!! She's fixed my cut and highlights and since then she has redone my highlights several times and recently did a rooty-balayage look. It's nice to have finally found a hairstylist who knows what they're doing and who can handle my thick mane of hair. Sit back, relax and let her work her magic ;) read more

What an experience, I had beautiful Katie with the tatoos and a little green hair. Don't be fooled I am 62 years old, moved from Minnesota 4 months ago and had the same stylist for 16 years. I got to Florida and tried 2 different stylists; not good at all. Katie is so very knowledgable on providing you with ideas that would match your face shape, etc. My husband couldn't believe how beautiful my hair looked. My only regret is that we didn't do a before and after shot so you can see the miracle before your eyes. Katie will be my stylist up until the day I part this great world or she leaves to go on tour. I heard about Fusion Salon from Groupon. I was looking for a new stylist. My 'hair fairy" was Megan. She was fabulous! I took advantage of the hi-lights. Megan listened to what I wanted and took the time to show me what the color would look like. We talked about cutting my hair and different styles, but we ended up cleaning up my same exact style. I highly recommend Megan.. She has done my hair twice now, and she will be doing my hair on Saturday. Everyone in the salon is very personable and makes you feel like you are the only person in the salon. read more

Went to Shawna the owner to get my hair done and left with black spots all throughout my hair. Uneven and not to the root after just getting it done. Told her I wasn't happy and asked for my money back, and instead of fixing it or getting my money back she told me to leave the salon or she's going to call the cops. Wow great customer service. Daughter also went there and asked for balayage and instead got her roots dyed a nasty orange color. Wouldn't suggest anyone goes to this salon! read more
