They are great and I had a good experience. I have visited this facility a year back. Instructor is good and guides us based on our health.

-Overall Facility: 5 (0-5) kept clean, has showers and locker rooms, mat cleaners, towels, etc. -Practice Room Temperature: 5 (0-5) live up to "hot & humid" loved practicing right next to humidifier -Class Schedule: 5 (0-5) classes throughout the day even in weekends. -Checking in: 5 (0-5) easy! There are two tablets allows self-check in. -Class room etiquette: 3 (0-5) mehhh... there are some yogis I don't want to be practicing with since a couple of them habitually do not clean up their sweat pool. Too much chatting: some are very conscious and respectful even to a point they would get out and chat, some are whispering gently to catch up but there are a specific group chatting away like they are in a restaurant. I highly recommend classes by following instructors: Ariel, Melissa, and Suzanne These three instructors stood out because of the following reasons; 1. Focus on breathing 2. Bringing out "moving meditation" 3. Keen on encouraging the balance between self-challenge and self-acceptance 4. Always thrives to guide every single participants in the practice room What was most impressive of Ariel, Melissa, and Suzanne is about self-respect and self-love. My respect was pouring out to them although they did not ask for it during the whole class. I was able to recover my depth of each pose with the balance these three provided with ease and without pain. [Feedback] a. Bona: it is a double edge sword when an esteemed instructor states that her class is "Traditional Bikram" where the title of her class was "hatha 90." (Knowing the notorious-ness of Bikram copyright, this is a lawsuit waiting to happen if she keeps on slipping.) It is one thing to be proud of her training but it is another to lack the "inclusiveness." If you are interested in the "form" of the Bikram style, I recommend attending her class. b. Anna: Yang yoga types could lean towards the "power" and "stamina." With that being said, she was blaring music and the focus of the practice room quickly scattered to a point her instructions were hard to hear. And she appeared to focus more on the select few she knows in the room rather than guiding the whole class. Quite distracting! c. it was refreshing to know instructors allow "water break." I guess I'm exposed to more strict practice. I'm used to "hydrate before you come to class but if you must only a sip or two during the class and try not to bring in ice water especially not the jug." [Conclusion] My experience in Hot Fusion Yoga can be summed as follows; "Learning to choose the instructor who has the compatible energy is the key to enriching your daily yoga practice." read more

I wanted to like this place because of all the good reviews, but this place just isn't for me. There are plenty of serious yogis here, so there must be something that they like about it, but I will not be returning after leaving my first and only class angry and not at peace. I have been doing hot yoga for about 2 years now, having visited 4 other studios around the downtown Seattle and Bothell area. This studio definitely stands out and is different, but for all the wrong reasons. THE GOOD: clean studio, lockers with lock and key provided, showers and bathroom were also clean. Towels and mats available to rent or buy. Soft, padded floors. No strange smell. $20 gets you unlimited 2 weeks for new students. Lastly, the instructor is pretty nice. She asked a couple times to remind her what my name is. She's definitely enthusiastic about being a teacher but imagine an aerobics or crossfit instructor teaching yoga. Yeah. THE NEUTRAL: it's hotter than other studios I've been to. I actually like it, but others may not. The lights are on the entire time. Very fast-paced. I'm not a beginner and it felt rushed for the entire 90 minutes. Every single pose on the floor is followed by Savasana (up, down, up, down, for 30 minutes. No wonder I got dizzy). It sounded like she was reading from a book instead of guiding us through the session. No relaxing music during class - just her loud voice. The instructor often claps and she drills you through the use of a microphone - all of these things were very distracting to me. She uses the microphone to speak over the two humidifiers in the back of the room. My ears are still ringing hours after the technical difficulties they were having from the sound system. THE BAD: No modifications. What?! I was feeling a little dizzy so I took to child's pose while the class was told to do rabbit's pose. The instructor comes up to me and says "I don't know why you feel the need to modify (any professional yoga instructor can list 20 reasons why I was in child's pose), but there are no modifications in this class. If that's a problem, you can talk to me after class". Um, I'm sorry, I didn't know school was in session! It's more disruptive to the class if you stop to reprimand someone instead of letting them do their thing. If there are rules (not etiquette), then please list them on your website or discuss them quickly at the beginning of the class. Every single class I have been to begins with the supportive "take a break whenever you need to. Savasana and child's pose are great neutral poses". And modifications are encouraged! I will push myself to my own limits because I know what they are, thank you very much. I'm not going to ask for your permission every time my foot hurts from plantar fasciitis or when I feel dizzy. She even tells the class that feeling dizzy is a good thing! What?! No. Oh, and she even had her phone and checked her texts during class and told us not to look!!! Ridiculous. I'm glad this was not my first hot yoga experience because I know what a relaxing yet challenging class should be like. I know that I am looking for a more supportive, calming environment and I know that I will not find it here. read more

I completely agree with another reviewer who had concerns about one of the teachers. I had the same experience. I've done yoga for 15 years in four different cities including hatha, power, and anusara, and I have never had a teacher tell me "it's supposed to hurt," ESPECIALLY during a backbend! I've never had a teacher say "You're supposed to feel dizzy" and I've never had a teacher tell me repeatedly to lock my knees. I've never had a teacher call side-angle (parsvakonasana) pose "triangle pose" or savasana "dead body pose." I've also never had a teacher repeatedly move me quickly from stomach-lying savasana to standing poses about 20 times during the class. .... UNTIL I took a class at Fusion Hot Yoga. Perhaps some of these are elements of Bikram that I'm not familiar with, but this particular teacher shows not only a lack of knowledge of yoga principles but also the capacity to seriously injure a student. I did have two classes by other teachers at this studio that were okay, but during one class it was far too hot and as someone with low blood pressure I became dizzy and couldn't participate for about a third of the class. For two out of three classes I went to at this studio, I left feeling WORSE than when I arrived. There may be some good teachers here, and people who are gym rats and love to sweat might enjoy the atmosphere, but any studio who would employ a teacher like the one who told me "it's supposed to hurt" is not a studio I will take my business to. read more

I've been practicing hot yoga for 11 years , and I've tried all the studios around.. this is the BEST hot yoga studio in the area. Best facility, super easy to get to cause its right off the freeway, the sweetest husband/wife owners, tons of free parking, water fountain, showers, great heat/ventilation system so your sweating but you can breathe, they offer both hatha(Bikram) and Power Vinyasa (flow) styles so you get some variety. The hatha is 26 postures, each pose done twice with a little rest in between, its great start for beginners. The Vinyasa is more of a flow with ab work, push ups, fun music, etc. its more strength building than the hatha. Offering the two styles is smart because they compliment each other really well and if you practice both you don't have to do any other type of workout! They have rubber floor that's cleaned daily. (The facility is always super clean) The instructors are the best around in my opinion, each one brings a different approach/flavor to the class. I read a few other review where people were complaining about the instructor using a headset/mic and I totally disagree...I love that they do because between the white noise from the humidifiers and the music, it makes it easy to hear the instructions from the teacher. I've practiced at several studios where they didn't use a headset and I honestly could hardly hear the teacher, it made me feel disconnected from the class and confused as to what I should be doing. I also read a review on here where someone commented they thought it was weird the teacher didn't do the poses with everybody as they taught. I have to say, have you ever tried talking for 90 minutes straight, in a 100 degree room, while paying attention to students form, the heat/humidity AND doing vigorous exercise? Its a little much. There's no way the instructor could do the class with everyone in the and be a very effective teacher, they'd be totally out of breath! Having them walk around and help ppl, tell us what to do and give corrections, versus doing the class and being out of breath is much more effective. Plus there at least 20 other people to watch for visual guidance. They have a $20 for 2 weeks intro deal, try it!! Its the BEST STUDIO!! read more

I used to come here religiously and about 2 years ago moved to CA, I've had a VERY hard time trying to find anything that even comes close to comparing....I have literally considered moving back home bc of this place. This was what centered my entire life and the WAY this art is practiced is crucial to the benefits you will get out of it, and I don't just mean physically but also emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I practice regular vinyasa yoga at my local gym and had been wanting to try hot yoga for a while. My girlfriend invited me to come with her to Fusion one night for their anniversary celebration. It was my first time ever doing hot yoga, the class was 90 mins and I am used to 60 so I knew this would be a challenge for me. The instructor told us newbies please don't leave the room, listen to your body and just lay down if you have to. I did the first half of the class but soon felt I needed to lay down. Oddly, my body started to tingle like when your arm or leg falls asleep. I called over the instructor who helped me stay calm and refocus on my breath. Long story short, by the end of the class I couldn't even move, my whole body and seize up. I remained calm while my friend got the instructor and a veteran yogi to help me out of the hot room. While apparently my body does not like hot yoga I have to give Fusion 4 stars because they were so caring and supportive. They fed me some fruit and coconut water and talked me through it. And even waited to make sure I was ok. My girlfriend ended up driving me home since I felt so week. Thank you Fusion for making me feel so calm during this weird scary incident. I learned it was due to a lack of calcium. I don't want to freak anyone else out who reads this but rather if something odd does happen like this, know that you will be taken care of and don't be afraid to ask for help. Moral of the story - really prepare your body and mind for hot yoga, take a friend with you, do regular yoga a few times first so you're familiar with the poses. read more

Great staff, nice entry and a speedy check in process. The clientele seemed very comfortable in their element--you may see some very very short shorts and close calls, but that's part of it people. They lock the front during the practice so I was never worried about my personal belongings wandering away. The only con is the schedule itself. There are only 5 or so sessions scheduled in a day, and with my work schedule I can only make it to the later 8pm option because of the lack of variety. But the instructors are fabulous and they have great intro pricing, I highly recommend for hot yoga. read more

Through Groupon and other discounts, I spent the last year trying out all hot yoga studios north of Bellevue, south of Mill Creek. Fusion remains my favorite. My basic requirements are 1) showers (not all have), 2) non-carpet floor (sensitive to smells) and 3) ample heat *and* moisture (some have poor humidifiers). What I like Fusion the most is that I do not feel out of breath. At most other places the instructor has to open the door to let fresh air in. Fusion must have an air exchange system to do that. I feel more refreshed and with no headaches after class. On top of these, ample parking, bright studio, quick highway access and lockable lockers set this studio apart. It might sound like I'm doing a commercial for Fusion but I think this place has the full package. In terms of instructors, each one has his/her style. You just have to find the one(s) you like. read more

I started going to Fusion when they opened as they are the closest hot yoga studio to my house. I have been practicing about 13 years now, doing mostly some form of hot yoga. The studio is very clean and provides many amenities not provided at many studios. The owners wanted to make it a cut above. The teachers for both Vinyasa Flow and Hatha are great. They push their students to their individual limits but instruct all to back off when you loose your breath. Some of the Vinyasa instructors lead a more intense flow and others follow a more restorative practice but they all good. I personally enjoy the variety of postures some of the instructors come up with but if you like a more regimented flow, such as Baptist style, they have that too. I was not into hot yoga. I came to Fusion because a friend insisted on how much I needed to try this. I did, and I keep coming back here. I started off as a yoga novice. As I kept coming to the classes, my flexibility got better, my core and overall strength improved, and I am able to do things that I did not think were possible for me. There are number of things that this studio got going for them, including a very convenient location close enough to the freeway, plenty of parking, showers in the studio, and lockers. What makes this place special though, is the passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm of its teachers who care for your practice. From the owners to the instructors, these folks are passionate about safe, effective yoga, community interaction, and consistently achieve all of it. Everyone is welcome here. Beginners receive great detailed instruction--even getting personal questions answered by teachers who want to stay and help after class! Wow! I've practiced for over 14 years; this is definitely my "home studio!" Aside from certified power vinyasa and Bikram instructors (referred to as Hatha instructors), there are some great studio assets: showers! Yes! Showers! Clean studio (even the mirrors with all those sweaty people!), clean locker rooms with free locks provided and warm welcoming lobby. The heat: always on target and rarely fluctuating. Community: it might be a little talkative before a class. Here's why: the owners encourage a community. They want you to meet, connect, and interact. If that's not your thing, no one's going to bug you! So far, I have seen at least a dozen fund raisers at this studio--happy just to receive a $1 for a full class. I highly recommend Fusion Hot Yoga. You walk in and are greeted by friendly faces and a welcoming community of people. The environment is clean and they have showers. Each teacher is unique. For years, I was addicted to Jason's Hatha classes, it is a great workout mentally and physically. Christine is a wonderful Hatha teacher that led me through many classes too. More recently I have been taking Power classes. I love Jeni's classes, she makes every class an awesome experience. Pittman is always cool fun. I've also experienced Carrie's classes, which have a deep spiritual feel. The teachers I haven't taken class from, I have met. Either in class or lobby conversations Suzanne, Stephanie, Bona, Ariel, Kaycee, Audrey, Emily all make Fusion feel like my "home away from home". Love you guys! read more

First and foremost The energy in this studio is wonderful. The classes are full and the students all seem eager to focus on the practice. I love the fact that they offer different classes as a combo of Hatha and Power makes for great balance. I LOVE the late 60 minute class as I work a long day and that makes it easy for me to make it. The floor in the studio is perfect for yoga, not too hard, not too soft and (unlike a carpeted room) the air is clean, easy to breath. I think the heating system is perfect for this style of yoga. I love hot yoga and try out as many yoga studios as I can. So far, this is the best! The bathrooms and classroom is always clean and tidy, I love the padded matts! The room is kept at a great temperature, it isn't stifling hot. They have great options for class times if you want to go in before work or after and even options on the weekends! The instructors are great! They're always actively instructing during class so that you don't feel lost. Their hatha and vinyasa classes are great!!! I have never been a huge hot yoga fan after trying numerous studios around the eastside. After two back surgeries by the age of 30 I knew that the needed to change up my approach to fitness. Moving to Bothell 3 years ago a friend of mine insisted I go to Fusion. She was right and the rest is history. There is nothing better for my back and overall wellness than a 90 minute Hatha session. I LOVE this studio. Almost 2 years ago, I lacked strength, muscle tone, and energy since I was recovering from a large surgery. My doctor and good friend told me to look into yoga. I never really thought yoga was for me but gave it a try. I bought several Groupons. I didn't feel a connection with the first two studios i tried. I found Fusion Hot Yoga. Third time's the charm. It became a place of both refuge,transformation, and healing. I'm stronger and more both mentally and physically. The instructors are so supportive and authentic. You can be at an level from novice to veteran, young or old, there is something for everyone. They offer kids yoga and teen yoga too! I have too many great things to say about Fusion... so I will address just a few (but there are many more). I have been practicing at Fusion since April of last year, a month or so after they opened. I instantly felt like I was meant to be there. The staff is amazing, the teachers are in my opinion THE BEST, ALL of the teachers are trained extensively, and know their yoga! When I enter the practice room I know that whom ever the teacher may be, I will have a fantastic class with high quality instruction. Secondly, the entire studio is bright, beautiful, and clean! Anyone who knows me knows what a hot yoga fanatic I am. As a result I have practiced at MANY of the hot yoga studios in the greater Seattle area. I have to say that Fusion has becom my home studio over the past year. Why? First -the studio itself. This facility is clean AND beautiful. The changing rooms are spacious. The yoga room is large, hot and humid appropriately, but incredibly well ventilated at the same time. It makes all the difference in my practice! Second - the teachers. All the instructors at Fusion are certified and knowledgable. They always seem to be excited to answer questions and help students! I think this is key for both beginners and veteran practitioners. It's the only way to keep your practice growing:) Third - the variety. Being able to count on a consistant Hatha series in addition to the Power Vinyasa all within one studio is awesome! Finally - the students. Since I started practicing at Fusion I have met so many new friends and simply amazing people that continue to positively influence my life. This is not a studio where students come, take class and leave. Fusion has attracted students that care about each other, who have formed friendships and who enthusiastically welcome new students. I have been doing yoga for 8 years and this, by far might be a top fav. I love the challenge, the strong verbal instructing and the family feel here. The staff is really sweet, especially Jeni (who also assists in Jason's night classes.) She went around and adjusted everyone - Jason quite possibly could have been one my favorite instructors ever. He has built a lot of rapport - people trust him, respect him and keep coming back for more. I felt like it was way more than a yoga class. I felt strong leaving, mentally, physically and emotionally. I'm a huge fan of this place. The only thing I dont like is it's hard to get back to the freeway once you leave the parking lot...and the changing room is small..but that's small potatoes compared to the music, teaching, classes, price, instructors, etc. I have told many people about this place already. I took my first yoga class 12 years ago and took a 10 YEAR break...I hated my first class. I didn't have a good instructor to tell me to come back the next day. Two years ago I decided to try hot yoga again and this time, fell in love with it. I'd been practicing at many of the local studios and I came to Fusion's open house and never left. I found my "home." This studio is amazing. Everything from the relaxing feel of the studio to the educational commitment of the teachers makes me love practicing here. Teachers are trained under either Baptiste or Bikram (or both) which is a rarity in the studios I've practiced in. Every single time you walk in the doors at Fusion you are greeted warmly by the instructor. There is a mutual respect between the yogis as well. They have run two 30-day challenges so far which really brings the studio together. I appreciate how the instructor is careful to assure you are doing the posture correctly so as to not hurt yourself. If the instructor notices many practitioners doing a pose incorrectly, he/she has a demonstration done for all to see the correct form. I can't say enough nice things about Fusion. I am so proud to say I practice here. read more

This studio is amazing. The studio itself is very large, so there is always room for more people, even if you are sliding in right before class starts. All of the instructors are kind spirited and well educated. The classes are always challenging, even for people who have been practicing for a very long time. This may seem intimidating to beginners, but its a blessing because every person no matter their skill level is guaranteed to get a challenge. Whenever I have a question about a position or need a little extra help, the teachers are always willing to work with you and often help you 1:1 after class. This studio is a perfect place for anyone who wants to take yoga seriously and get a tough workout every time, as well as make some friends. The studio itself is clean as well as the showers and restrooms. They even have shampoo for you to use in the ladies locker room. read more

I purchased a GroupOn special $29.99 for 10 classes. I'm an intermediate student of Hatha. I've been to 3 other hot yoga facilities, so I do have something to compare my experience to. My first attendance was 90 minute Hatha on Sunday at 4:30pm. I will start with the negative aspects of this venue. As I walk through the door, I'm immediately hit with loud, hard rock music blaring on the speakers. It was annoying and inappropriate as Hatha is supposed to promote calmness and tranquility before, during and after the class. After getting checked in, I had about ten minutes to lay in shavasana & mentally prepare myself for class. Unfortunately, two other students in the room, were loudly gabbing non-stop, attracting negative looks from everyone around them. In other yoga venues I've been to, the instructors were very diligent in ensuring a quiet atmosphere and minimizing distractions. When class began, I learned the receptionist was also the instructor. She flipped on the overhead lights and put a microphone on her ear which made her voice REALLY loud, bordering on obnoxious. It is completely unnecessary for instructors to use speakers for yoga. No other instructor at the other yoga facilities does this. The overhead lights are really bright and made it very unpleasant when laying in shavasana. The instructor was moderately obese, between 50lbs to 65lbs overweight which normally isn't a big deal. In this case, the instructor was synonymous to a drill sergeant. She barked out commands, didn't offer beginning students the option to stay in 1st pose, and took a condescending tone with people who needed to lay down. Even if it were appropriate to take such an attitude in Hatha, you better be able to walk the walk. This lady was not physically fit enough to do 1/4 of the poses, yet had the gall to assure everyone to "push through the pain. pain is normal" Other instructors always stress for every person to listen to their bodies' needs, pain is NOT normal, and there is no shame in laying in shavasna as long as you need to. This instructor really has no business teaching Hatha. My 2nd attempt at attending Hatha was this morning at 9:30am. I was relieved to see the other instructor was not there. After signing in, the receptionist said to me, "You know it's Power Vinsya today right?" I replied, "Your website says Hatha". She then explained how the Hatha instructor called in sick at the last minute and they couldn't find a replacement. Okaaaaay...so how could I "know it's Power Vinsya today". I missed the psychically projected memo. It takes less than a minute to update a website to let customers know of last minute changes. Since I did already attend one class with the groupon coupon, I'm not eligible for a refund. I still have nine classes left, but at this point, it is doubtful I will return. On the positive side, the facility is very clean, no funny smells, and has more amenities than other establishments I've been to. This place offers showers and lockers for personal belongings. Parking is ample and well lit. If you're looking for a power work out class in a hot room, this place would fit the bill. For those who seek a traditional Hatha experience, which balances exercise with meditation, in a facility that provides appropriate ambiance and instruction, there are much better choices out there. read more

During my time between my am shift and pm shift I would travel to local business and look around and ask questions. I am curious guy I always ask questions it just these thing I do .Long story short the owner liked me , whats not to like about me, I'm a mushroom , a fungi , get it fun guy . He have me one month free of hot yoga . Now i asked Tasha what should I wear and what should bring , more questions I like it.. She said workout clothes and one liter of cold water , done. After my first hot yoga I thought I was going to die, it looked like had just pop out of swimming pool .Clothing soaked in sweet ,my water was all gone, body warm but me alive with this calm inside me and what a great way to start the day . At the end of my first month there I was wearing workout short , no shirt yes ladies I do have my left nipple pierced stop staring at it and not need a full liter of water to get through my class. Note do drink water before and after class don't eat fours before class add bananas to your diet it it help with the muscles freaking out on you.PS bring fresh underwear , On the drive home after my first I was going commando ,ugh. read more

I've been practicing hot yoga for five years now. This studio is the best I've experienced. The thing that I loved first was the nice open lobby and the big, clean locker room with shower, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers, and skin care products. Its such a pleasure to have the space to move around without bumping into other sweaty yogis who are also trying to navigate from class to shower to belongings! What I've discovered after practicing here for about a month is that all the teachers are very professional, experienced and pleasant. The power vinyasa classes are a breath of fresh air with a variety of levels available. The floor, rather than carpet or laminate, is a firm mat (nice!). What it seems the owners have done here is to use the things about other studios that DO work, and leave out the stuff that doesn't. Bravo. This place is amazing. I had to look else where for a membership after getting tired of Hot Yoga Inc overheating their studio, and I'm so glad I did. The energy is amazing and creative and fun, it's a great work out and the instructors are THE BEST. read more

I originally came here because they had an ad on Groupon for an unlimited month of classes for about $29. I was pretty nervous to go the first time by myself, considering I'm not that flexible and I didn't want to make a fool out of myself. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, and did not make me feel foolish at all! The instructors are all very patient and each brings their own style to the yoga room. The room itself is spacious (although it does get quite busy and crowded in there) and the atmosphere is very iniviting of a good practice. I enjoyed my experience so much that after my groupon expired, I signed up for the unlimited monthly, I now have two yoga mats, yoga towels, straps, three books about practicing yoga and anatomy... And I feel myself becoming stronger! A year ago today I wouldn't have been able to touch my toes, and now I've almost got my hands to the ground. I miss Jeni! read more
