Finally, I had the chance to try this restaurant. We went for lunch. So it wasn't crowded. We were seated in a nice cozy booth. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We ordered a few appetizers to share. All the dishes were amazing. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. Delicious food, beautiful decor, but a little pricey. The restaurant itself is very beautiful, I've been to the Staten Island Fushimi, Bay Ridge, and Williamsburg locations and they are all gorgeous and upscale. Not your typical sushi restaurant, this is a perfect place for a special occasion dinner, etc. The food here is delicious, my friend and I ordered the steamed pork gyoza to start, it was very enjoyable and came with about six pieces which was a good size for an appetizer. Next we got fried rice with beef to share, the fried rice was wasn't very flavorful and needed soy sauce. It was $17 for a decent portion, but could only be ordered as a separate side. I had asked our server if I could have chicken teriyaki and substitute the whipped potatoes and vegetables for the fried rice, she asked the kitchen but they said no which was disappointing. I've never been to an Asian cuisine restaurant where they served mashed potatoes with the teriyaki entree. So instead we ordered the side of rice and I got a sushi roll instead of the teriyaki entree. The sushi roll I got was the American Dream roll. I've had this many times before and each time it is more delicious. It is basically a shrimp tempura roll with kani salad on top and mango sauce. It was very fresh and the kani salad was outstanding and creamy. The mango sauce tops it all off, I could eat three of these without batting an eyelash. It is more expensive than a special roll at your standard sushi place, it's about $18 for eight pieces but it's worth it every once in a while. My friend got the duck which I tried and it was very tasty, the sauce added a nice flavor, but the portion was small and it didn't come with a side. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant highly as the food is so good but be prepared to spend!

The food is always very good, we have never been disappointed. Very clean environment and absolutely 100% privacy and quiet... The staff is good, only some waitresses should be a little more patient when taking orders and to smile is something beautiful

The indoor atmosphere surpasses the outdoor seating. We tried outdoor seating on our visist here. The staff was friendly and attentive. However, if you want the full fushimi experience try indoors! The food was great and when you order Hot Saki it's actually Hot!

Sushi is always delicious here, just a bit overprice. It's nicely decor, light music, good for family, group or a date. 1. Butter lobster roll taste just like the name and it had real lobster meat 2. Mummy roll, the tuna melted in your mouth, crispy shrimp tempura and the mango sauce gave it a sweet taste 3. American roll is a typical shrimp tempura roll - pretty basic and can't go wrong with this 4. King crab and shrimp roll, was refreshing, a mix of flavor and stuffed, the guacamole tasted fresh Returned on a Saturday night and the music was strictly freestyle, and it was fine by me! Definitely made my meal more enjoyable. Do dessert you must try the fried ice cream or lava cake.

I had a reservation here for a friends birthday & everything was incredible! We probably stayed for two hours, and their appetizers, entrees, drinks and dessert were amazing! We ordered rock shrimp, uni, tuna box, surf & turf & mojitos. The tuna was SO fresh & delicious!! The service was great too, our waitress checked in on us during & after each course & was very cheerful! Will definitely be returning, happy to say that it exceeded my expectations! :)

I notice that a few people had their laptops and were working, while enjoying some hookah. We were seated right away, and our server was very sweet and friendly. She recommended I try the grill chicken wrap, since it was pretty popular. I also ordered the housemade sangria. It was sweet and tasty, but the wrap was very dry and extremely bland. In the description, it says the chicken is marinated in a chefs blend of unique seasonings and herbs but I didn't taste any ounce of seasoning. My taste buds were so bored and underwhelmed. I believe it was accompanied by a tzatziki sauce, which I had to pour all over to achieve some type of flavor. It was so disappointing and I had to ditch the 2nd half of it. The fries were good but nothing to run back for. The hookah was just okay. We ordered a premium flavor, but there was nothing premium about it. At times, it got very harsh and tasted very ashy. They are very attentive though and come around often to ensure the coal is still active and the hookah is pulling properly.

This is easily the most expensive hookah lounge I've been to in nyc and it doesn't make sense. They include a tip in the bill and then expect or create problems for people who don't tip additional money on top of the automated tip. It's inexcusable and shouldn't be a thing.

Wow what a great experience! I must say I will remember "the Alamo"…read more First, buying tickets at the box office was seamless. No, they do not have kiosks to purchase tickets. I was still able to pick my seat and pay my way. Yes, you can still order tickets online but why pay a fee? Second, the theater is immaculate which is another plus. I love a clean theater. I found my reserved seat and wow.. comfortable seat! You see I haven't been to a IRL movie.since last year? Maybe? Ordering food is not new, in fact, Nite Hawk cinema in Williamsburg was a pioneer. I love the way Alamo sends "reminders" to order now because in ten minutes phones go away. Then you order by paper and pen, you know 1800's style. Be careful, if you do not follow the rules: no phone, no talking etc your neighbor aka " FBI moviegoer can fill out the card stating you are creating noise and off to movie jail you go; kicked out of theater. I was in the mood for popcorn and a soda. Michael greeted me right away and took my order. As I waited, I learned from my neighbors that Alamo has a Pre-Show. This one was highlighting cinematography and how directors went from Panavision to 70mm. Additionally, how Paul Thomas Anderson has creatively shot his films from Boogie Nights to Licorice Pizza. Pretty interesting. Michael served me my large popcorn ( only size they sell) it a big metal bowl. I asked for no salt and the popcorn was delicious. I also ordered the pretzel with honey mustard and queso. I must admit, I enjoyed the pretzel and the queso, perfect for a movie. I highly recommend this theater. It is located in Hylan Boulevard plaza. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to visit pre or post movie. So do I recommend "One Battle After Another"? Yes, Leo is in top form. See ya at the movies!
