I would politely ask people if they have ever been to Texas and eaten their brisket before saying they serve Texas brisket. We got a to go order of brisket, fries and collard greens. The collard greens and mustard sauce were excellent, the fries were okay and the brisket was inedible. I do not recommend reheating brisket and serving it. It has a weird flavor and is dry. I question if this was smoked at all from the color of it. And yes I grew up in Texas. read more

Three of us came for lunch, and unassuming strip mall which looks like a relatively new set up although I am sure they have been here for sometime because they have perfected the art of barbecue. Went today for lunch with a group of 14 people and we had a reservation. Took 55 minutes for the food to come out and it was sub par at best. My coleslaw was room temperature so I didn't dare eat it. It was replaced with a slightly cooler one but really wasn't very good. Had the pulled pork and mac & cheese sandwich which I had to drown in barbecue sauce for flavor. The baked beans were ok and the sweet tea was good. Why they only had one waitress on knowing they had a large group coming is hard to understand. We decided as a group that it wasn't very good and we wouldn't return. I've had much better barbecue at Rib City and Sonny's. The waitress was very pleasant. read more

I was excited to try this place, but we left very disappointed. My pulled pork was very bland. I tried to help the flavor with some bbq sauce but the three bottles tableside were all so watered down they came out like water. My wife ordered ribs. Not only were they NOT fork-tender, she struggled cutting them with a knife. The fries were limp. The collard greens were good. Ok, this place probably has the best BBQ in Naples. I have been passing that plaza for so long and never decided to try it. I'm honestly surprised at how good everything was. I made a reservation for Fuse Global Cuisine for last night, but, neither my partner nor our friend were interested in "fussy food." So, we opted for Fuse BBQ instead. I had the Carolina pig sandwich with a side of brown sugar sweet potato mash. The three of us shared the key lime tart. Everything was good. The mash had an appealing, but unusual, taste. My 3-star review should actually be 2.5: an average of a 4-star review for my experience while AT the restaurant and my 1-star review for the nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea that I experienced starting at 1AM. Please keep in mind that I had a light breakfast, a handful of mixed nuts in the late afternoon, and then dined at Fuse BBQ at 730PM. So, in all likelihood it was my meal at Fuse BBQ. Some of the best barbecue I have ever eaten, and I have eaten my share of good barbecue, including Austin, Texas food trucks and Salt Lick! You must try the wings! Unique preparation; fantastic dry rub, smoked and then quick torch to make crispy. But all of their meats are excellent as are their sides. If I am eating with others we order sides and ear family style, one side per person is perfect portion. We love the smoky beans, collard greens, and mashed sweet potatoes. read more

I can't say enough about Fuse BBQ. We have been regular guests for awhile and I should have posted long ago. The BBQ is wonderful especially the brisket and ribs. For appetizers the smoked wings and brisket chili fries are incredible. I'm a sucker for collard greens and these are the best in town. Service is always great either inside or on the patio. Just finished yet another great meal from Fuse BBQ. The brisket is always moist and flavorful. The pulled pork has a slight smokey tang to it and the collard greens are the best I have found in southwest Florida. We also love their salad; crisp, cold, simple and delicious. We are huge fans of this place and while we have tried other local BBQ places, this is our go-to. It also helps that the owners and servers are really nice people who remember their customers and genuinely appreciate their business. I highly recommend Fuse BBQ. read more

EAT HERE if you want to spend $35.00 on a meal for two to only be very disappointed. That mouthwatering bacon on their menu turns out to be bacon bits with just a little added flavor. How about that Pork & Mac? Good for the first two bites, but after the third, be prepared to taste disappointment in every other bite. They really earned that half of the first star by their Fries; that was the $4 spent that actually filled us. The second half of the star came from the sandwich bun. I have no idea what it was but it had cornbread qualities making it actually pretty good. Too bad the sandwich was too messy to pick up and enjoy. The atmosphere earned them the second star. Having been cooped up in the house for way too long, my wife and I decided to take a little day trip to Naples. We ended up at Fuse for lunch. We were greeted by a very pleasant young lady who was very helpful in directing me on what to have. We decided we wanted to eat at the outside tables and she was very attentive to us even though we were having takeout not dine in. I had the Brisket and my wife had the Carolina Pig. I am not sure what kind of rub they are using but this Brisket is delicious even without sauce. Which brings me to the sauces. There are 3. A mustard base sauce, MS which I assume is Mississippi, and Hot. I enjoyed all 3, even the mustard sauce which is usually not my preference. The Hot has just the right amount of heat and is not overpowering. The Carolina Pig is made with very tasty pork the bun is nicely toasted and gets a thumbs up from my wife. Lastly the Charro Beans were unique with an almost chili flavor and is a nice addition. The sweet potato mash was the only negative for us. There was nothing wrong with them at all. They were just a bit too creamy for my taste and I think I would like a little more brown sugar. I'm not entirely sure what I didn't like about them to be honest but they were just not for me. Overall, an excellent stop and is definitely a future visit on our next day trip to Naples. read more

I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody. I've actually told several people not to come here. We were the only ones in the restaurant and somehow our food still came out cold. When my pork sandwich came out it was way too light in color. This food seemed old and so so cold. I added BBQ sauce that was at the table and it tasted like pure watery vinegar. I tried some of the pork and could not even think about eating the rest of the sandwich. When I let our server know, she went to the back and got the manager/owner. The manger came out telling us we disrespected her for now liking her food, giving us an attitude for not eating the sandwich even though I explained to her I did not like it. She told us to take the sandwich off of our plate because she "didn't want to ruin our appetite". She was so rude I couldn't believe it. I told her I still wanted to eat my fries because I liked them and I was hungry. She came back and dropped off the check and told us to pay and then we need to leave her restaurant because we "disrespected her" by not eating the sandwich. I was so furious. I went to a restaurant expecting to leave full! She didn't even let me finish my fries that I paid for!!! Horrible management. Server was nice. This was not her fault. But really? Kicking us out and making us pay for food we couldn't eat? I have worked in the restaurant business for 3 years- this is NOT how you treat a customer!!! read more
