They were amazing with the previous managers. Now, not so much. My dogs grooming used to take 30 min. Now they can take up to 2 hours. Their appointments are all over. 2x they told me my dogs appt is for "the next day" even after i showed them the confirmation text they sent me. One time they even show a cancellation when i did not even called and i still had my confirmation text. I understand the groomers may be the same as before but the management is horrible. Now Lucky Paws. I have a 5 1/2 month soft coated Wheaton Terrier who desperately needed her first groom. I was given an appointment for the afternoon. I cannot say enough on the professionalism of all the staff and the beautiful groom they gave my girl Roxy. I highly recommend this grooming salon, they are so caring, and loving of my fur baby. I also want to add this was not an all day affair. They said about 1 1/2 hours and she was ready in that time. read more

After a certain corporate chain (who shall remain unnamed) starting charging more for unnecessary services and cut the wick on my dog's nail (causing her to almost need the vet), my pups were in need of a new groomer. Our neighbor recommended Furst Class and we decided to pop in to scope the place out, which resulted in us making an appointment. This is a mother/daughter owned grooming salon. It's on the small side but I like that because only a handful of dogs are there at one time. Both ladies we spoke with asked how exactly we wanted our dogs to look, did we want their ears cleaned, and was there anything else we should know (one of my dogs has beautiful, long eyelashes, so they didn't touch those as per my request, my other dog has a titanium bone in one of her back legs from an accident and they treated her with such great care!). Our previous groomer took 5-6 hours to groom one dog, which was unacceptable. Furst Class was done in 1 hr. 20 mins. I couldn't believe it! They also do NOT use drying cages, and it shows in (in a good way). Our pups were fluffy and soft and so happy once all was said and done. I could tell by their demeanor that they were happier here than anywhere else they've ever been groomed. Can't wait to make our next appointment! read more

I can't say enough nice things about the staff at furst class. I've been taken my goldendoodle here for most of her life. My Gracie is very nervous going to go the groomers and I always feel confident leaving her with the staff here. That's very important for any dog Mama . They are always professional and have always done a superior job. Chrissy took extra special care of her today and that means the world to me. Donna the owner is fantastic and always friendly. Wonderful grooming salon. They are very careful and good with animals. Very good scheduling and taking my dog at the time I asked for. My dog doesn't like to be brushed, but they showed compassion and my dig did not seem traumatized. Great place! read more

I would never go there again, very unprofessional. I have been a customer for a while and this is an unfortunate incident. They threatened to hold my dog even after she was done because of not wearing a mask, meanwhile, there is no sign and I dropped my dog off also maskless. Wouldn't allow me to pay and take my dog, the entire incident is on film. I have never in my life had a worse customer service experience all the way up to their corporate ladder. The employee threatened and said, "I am not giving you your dog back until you put on a mask" and held my dog in the back, it was an extra 15 minutes of holding my dog where I could have paid, waited outside, and given my dog within five minutes. First time changing groomers for my dog I didn't realize until afterwards that they never asked for a copy of his vaccines which should of been a huge red flag. Thankfully he is up to date with them all. The staff was nice but disorganized they tried to return my dog with a collar and leash that were huge and clearly weren't his. Had been going here for years with the previous owners who were so caring & attentive to every groom. I had started using them with my last dog & went back to them when I got my new puppy. I very rarely leave reviews but they did such a horrible job on my dog I felt I had to, gave them 1 star because you have to if you want to leave a review. I took my dog there twice under the new management now called Lucky Paws; both cuts were HORRIBLE! She looked worse after her groom then when I brought here in. Thought the first time might have been a fluke but second groom was just worse than the previous time. Dropped her off for this last groom & they were calling in about 30 min to let me know I could head back to pick her up. When I quested how she was already ready they said the "groomer" wasn't busy & they were able to get her done quicker than expected - that did not make sense to me.... I had requested a deshedding treatment, plus her nails trimmed & anal glands be checked (they charge extra for those services) in addition to the full groom & they had that all finished in a little over 30min??? The groom was totally uneven & looked like they just chopped off her hair - her ears & tail did not look like they were trimmed so I had to trim them my self after we got home. Her nails were trimmed but one was bleeding ; they never said a word to me - I only realized the cut one too short when I noticed spots of blood on my shirt after putting her in the car. She had a vet appt. a few days later & I asked them to check her anal glands because I had a feeling they never checked them & the vet told me they were full & they took care of them. I will never bring my dog back here & would recommend anyone thinking of using them to find another groomer!! read more

Just took my 16 year old blind dog to furst class grooming . My groomer of 11 years refuses to cut her anymore and tried taking her to a new place and they wouldn't take her either . I called furst class and told them my situation and they didn't hesitate to want to help . They were able to groom her and they were very gentle with her . They did a great job and my dog wasn't stressed out at all . I'm so happy I feel fortunate that I was able to find such a great place read more

I don't have a dog, yet I really like this salon. I bring in my two cats to have their nails trimmed every few months. Friendly people own and work there. I always tell them my male cat is a "senior citizen" and they are extremely careful with him. Cats don't seem to be stressed out at all. From what I observe while waiting for my pets the place is very clean, and it isn't a "mass produced" atmosphere. Dogs being groomed are extremely calm and look happy. When people enter for their appointments, dogs look happy to be there. Great place, I'm VERY satisfied. read more

Was called saying he was aggressive, something that had never happened in the past. Called furst class, explained the situation and my boy has been going there going on almost 2 years without a problem. He's very picky and doesn't let anyone hold him but aside from some nervous shaking, he lets me hand him right over to the staff. He looks great and is always in such a good mood when I pick him up.
