They were once america wholesale so it confused me a bit coming here. They're doing some construction so there isn't any parking available. I had to park at the retail next door. The place is big and has many selections of couches, bed frames, accent pieces, but they didn't have real leather sectionals that I was looking for. I ended up ordering my furniture online. Prices here are somewhat good and somewhat average and somewhat pricey. It's a range of values. The service is excellent and whether you buy something or not, they're still kind to you. read more

I met George, the owner of Furniture and Beyond today and was I very impressed with him as a kind person and that he had "Koncept" desk lamps for offices. It's a very hard brand to find and only offered at very exclusive lighting and office furniture stores. Then an Italian designed, black leather desk chair caught my eye. Wow! So cool! Would not recommend their furniture. We bought a couch from there for a high price expecting it to be good quality but it's not. When we bought it we asked about a warranty and they said that they do not do warranties because their furniture lasts 10-20 years so we would not need it. I guess we should have taken that as a red flag and went elsewhere, but we got the couch anyways. 2-3 months after we got the couch the seams started falling apart. It's a comfy couch but it's poor quality. The pillow and couch seams are coming apart and we have no warranty. The couple that runs the place is nice but I would not recommend to let them sell you on their furniture. Not worth it especially for their high prices. read more

There is an un-resolved fraud case pending wherein the store took money for one item and delivered a cheaper item and never made it right for the customer. BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU BUY!! I got pretty lucky with this place. I was driving back from Las Vegas to San Diego in a rental and stopped off on Winchester to use the bathroom. I saw the sign that Furniture And Beyond was moving, and everything was on sale. Yeah, right. I've heard that song and dance before. I went inside to see how much my furniture set was, as I was well versed with the pricing as it's a very common set. To my surprise, the chest of drawers was cheaper than I could find it at my local furniture store and online. I made a deal with the friendly staff for the chest and a nightstand, and less than 20 minutes later, both were loaded into my rental and I was on my way. Nice staff! My wife and I were shopping for rocking chairs, and to be honest, this was the closest furniture store that we could find. We drove over mid afternoon on a Friday to find the place completely deserted, no customers anywhere! The woman behind the counter was very friendly, asked us what we were looking for, and proceeded to show us her in-stock options. Sensing we weren't really liking what we were seeing, she didn't hesitate to offer special ordering something that better suited our needs. After poking around for another 15 minutes or so, we happened upon a chair that hit 2 out of 3 of our requirements. Low and behold, this chair was also on sale, due to the fact that it was last years' color. We settled on a price, and she had someone load it into my car for me. Overall the experience was great. The staff was helpful, the price was right, and the fact that we walked away with something we wanted was fantastic. read more

This is a local family owned and operated business. The customer service is outstanding. They really care about your needs. Disregard the other reviews about quality. They get their furniture from all the same manufacturers as the big box stores. But because they don't have the same overhead as the big box stores you save money. I moved into a new home about a month ago, and still haven't been able to find bag with nuts and bolts for our bed. I had one with me so I went to Lowe's no luck, I went to Home Depot no luck I went across the street to Ashley's furniture... nothing I gave up and was on my way to dollar tree when something said hey why not go in that furniture store right there. I went in and immediately George came to see if I needed anything I showed him this one screw or bolt I had found he told me I'd been having a hard time finding it because it was for a bunk bed lol I insisted it was for my headboard. He showed me to this catalog that my furniture came from and told me to see if I could find the model and he went to the back. I then met his wife we literally talked for and hour. George ended up having extra screws and gave them to me. They were very sweet. And they have very nice things in the store. I walked in looking for a sectional and dining room table but only got ten feet into the store before I was insulted by a man who I assume was the owner. If you are on the chubby side like me don't go to this store unless you really want to be pissed off. This man took it upon himself to tell me that my weight will break his sofa. George was sure a charmer when my husband and I visited his store and made lots of promises to find us what we needed in the beginning of our visit. We spent hours in there going over our needs (and having to listen to unrelated stories in between) but would not give us set prices (nothing has costs on items), but we gave him benefit of doubt that he needed to look them up. I wanted a certain desk and he was too lazy to look up saying his wife was the expert and would be in any moment and have her call us. NEVER got a call, we wasted hours of our day and after reading the reviews about others getting ripped off I totally believe their stories because it matches how he acted with us and maybe it was a blessing they didn't call us back. Maybe it's time to find another approach on how you handle customer service, stick to talking about your business not personal life and politics. I was looking for 2 full mattress and came across this place and while looking they had great prices they were the lowest I found on the mattress and while looking I found a large sectional with 3 recliners it was huge but a great deal so I purchased it and also looked at 2 matching couches, they looked like the same as pottery barn sales for $3500 and we got it for $1800 and got the large sectional with it and delivery for $3900. The service was great and George and Eleanor were wonderful they gave us the prices with no hidden fees. I would definitely shop there again I usually shop at Mathis brothers and other big name stores but the prices are great and the product is great.
