Shawn took a look around, listened to what I had in mind, and thankfully told me what would or wouldn't work. He picked a beautiful quartz counter top, gave me options to choose from for the paint, faucet and hardware. He has a great team working for him. They were respectful and trustworthy. The refinished cabinets look like new. They do high quality work. He made his best effort to get things done within the time frame discussed but, as with any renovation, there were some unexpected issues that led to minor delays and affected cost. I want to emphasize that our policy, clearly stated on our website and in the item description, specifies that custom cut yardage is non-returnable. However, in the spirit of goodwill, I authorized an exchange, hoping to accommodate their needs. To my surprise, the customer then changed their mind and requested a refund instead. I explained that this was against our policy, but instead of replying they proceeded to open a chargeback, effectively keeping the fabric for free. As of now, the custom-cut fabric, which cost Our small business over $400, has not been returned. Now I see from their reviews that they have done this to another small business. This experience has been disheartening, especially as a small business owner who values integrity. We believe in treating customers fairly, but it's equally important for customers to respect the policies that they agreed to by purchasing.
