This place is a joke, I took my baby there and yes he had lots of hair and I understood they may need to cut him a little shorter then the normal length this isn't my first rodeo with him having tangles but this is the third time I took him to this spot. The first time was ok but still very short the second time that groomer did a great job on both my babies. But this last time I literally thought they were bringing out the wrong dog no kidding. I mean they shaved his face and tail why??? They could have at least called me and asked me if I was ok with them shaving as much as they did. My baby has zero hair left. If they didn't want to take the time to try to comb it as much as possible they shouldn't be in business, I don't know who the owner is but clearly I've been warned by others posting this same issue so shame on me for giving them another chance. But most of all shame on the owner for poor business practices, if I could give zero stars I would because this place is over charging way to much to not satisfying their customers read more

I gave them a one star because there was not any lesser to give. I dropped my wife's dog (golden doodle) off and gave them specific instructions (twice) on how to cut him. There was a dog in the office with a similar cut I described. I told them do not touch the tail or the ears. When I left, they seemed to understand. We picked him up a few hours later and I thought they had given her the wrong dog. He got into the truck and he looked as if he had entered boot-camp. They had cut every bit of hair off him with the ecception of about a two inch puff on the tip of the tail. My brother saw him and asked when we got our blue-tick. For those that are unaware a blue-tick is a hound dog. I should have known better and "had" told her to take him somewhere else because last visit when I picked him up, he was gapped so bad it looks like a four-year-old had gotten hold of the scissors and gave their own haircut. Those with children remember those cuts. My advice to you is if you find yourself near this business, hit the gas and don't stop. Unless you want your dog to look like a survivor from P.O.W. camp. read more

Beware. I dropped off my babies for a bath and they came back horrible. My 4 mo white Maltese had his bangs chopped off for no reason. My 2 yo black poodle had a small knot in her hair fine because PETSMART ALWAYS BRUSHES THEM OUT. These folks cut 4 inches to the scalp in the center of the top knot. OMG. No bath required scissors. read more

We boarded our dogs for 8 nights and had both groomed when we took a family trip just after Thanksgiving. It was raining pretty hard when I picked them up, so I didn't give much thought to how they looked, but the puppy had a cough. They said "he's just excited." Not a short snout dog, so that set of alarm bells right away. When we got home, the dogs both smelled horrible, had mats in their fur, and ended up having to take multiple trips to the vet because they had developed kennel cough and an intestinal infection. The vet said that this was possible even when fully vaccinated due to poor ventilation and boarding condition. I hope they enjoy the $380 we spent, because I will never spend another dime there. Only board your dogs there if you want to spend more money at the vet later. Do not recommend at all! read more

They don't even deserve a star. Worst experience EVER. I would rather spend $300 plus at dog stop in trussville then here. My dogs stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and only went out every two hours (or so they say). Not to mention they said we could only get them from 4-6 but online it says they are opened in the morning also. Very very misleading. At least at dog stop they stay out all the time and they are very forward (and are in actual cages). And our dogs smell like urine. Very very disappointed. Not to mention we didn't close the door behind us and they slammed the door shut and we're very rude. If you want to have a successful business maybe you shouldn't let kids run it. read more

We've used FurBabies consistently over the past few months to board our dog, Rosie. Rosie was always very timid and had problems opening up around others, but the staff was so friendly and took such good care of her it made me feel so much better about having to leave her. When I got her she had opened out of her shell so much. I am so happy with the service we received at FurBabies, and I am so happy that Rosie was able to experience their care! read more

Me and my wife boarded our dog here a few weeks ago. I don't think we will be back. We payed for grooming and boarding for a few nights since we were going out of town. We picked up our pup after our trip and she was filthy and when we got home she was extremely thirsty and hungry. Seems like she hadn't been fed or had any water. We won't be back. read more
