Having fun at practice with the team!
    Emily K.

The coaches are amazing first of all! They are fun, kind, encouraging and upbeat! We switched my daughter to this gym just for the coaches! The equipment is top notch! The gym is kept very clean and inviting. Everyone is helpful and friendly at every point and stage of the gymnastics journey.

My son and another boy on his team

I would highly recommend this gym!! All of the staff are friendly. They are always kind to everyone. My son is 10 years old and just joined the tumbling and trampoline team. I am so grateful for the coaches!! Everyone is positive and encouraging. My son loves going !! His confidence has improved !!

Disclaimer: I'm not unfamiliar with party venues, so I tend to look for (and expect) a lot from places... and we were there for a birthday party. Invited to bring the tot to Funtastic to a recent birthday, and all told, it was a solid middle of the road experience. The sole staff member kept things moving along, though the program was a tad regimented. Faced with a ton of stuff to play upon, at least my kid wanted to keep playing, not eat a snack. She made a noble, but weak effort, and wanted to go play more, but the staffer told her to stay put (nicely, but stay put). Pros: The kids all seemed to enjoy the place, the restrooms were clean, and unlike the earlier 1-star review from eons ago, the attendant was involved and pleasant. (Looking at the one photo on the wall, I'd guess she's family, but I'm a big fan of such things, too.) She was paying attention 95% of the time, called the kids off if they tried to do more than one at a time on the trampolines (safety first, eh); the 5% was when a family came in and was asking about... something (party, classes, whatever), and that consumed the staffer's attention. I'm personally of the mindset that Q&A and such shouldn't occur on my party's time, but dunno what their policies are, so merely an observation. Cons: I wasn't at all impressed with the stack of light-duty plastic storage crates used as steps to the one trampoline and ZIP-tied together (more so with the one crate on the bottom step showing the white plastic fatigue and cracking that suggest it's close to breaking), nor with the size of the food area (maybe 10x20, which had a fridge, 8 or so chairs for the adults to sit, plus the two 6-8 banquet tables for the 12 guests). Snug, or perhaps cozy, are fitting terms for the area to watch your prodigy bounce around the place. The ending felt a bit abrupt, but again, could just be me. (2 minutes to 'end time,' the Top 40 music was turned off, the kids told to line up to receive a rubber hand-stamp on their hand, a ribbon, a flyer to attend their classes, and a host-family-provided goodie bag.) If it were anything other than a gymnastics place, I'd cast a worried eye on the liability waiver. (Often, they suggest tp me a place isnt aren't safe, aren't insured, or have undue cause for thinking they're going to host a rash of injuries.) That said, the standard of 'clear and complete' may be lost on the photocopied waiver that has words cut off on the right side of the page. I'd suggest re-centering it so folks can read to waive all the words first. (And I actually got a kick out of the aspect of the waiver that they're not responsible for "traffic and weather," as though a rainy day accident down the street would somehow be anyone's fault beyond the dingbat driving the car. All told, not a bad visit for what it is, but as earlier disclaimed, I tend to expect a lot and found some areas lacking.

I love watching the older gymnasts practice in addition to my kids. You can really get a good picture of the strength and good habits developed from training here. First of all, I've seen the head coach/manager of the ninja program constantly scold and belittle the boys when they have a hard time following directions or keeping up. It's rude, disrespectful, and so inappropriate -- these are kids! This is supposed to be a fun, positive class where they can move, learn, and feel proud of themselves, not a place where they get talked down to or embarrassed in front of others. I've complained about this same coach before, hoping something would change, but nothing ever does. It's really disappointing that this kind of behavior continues to be allowed. And then there's the ticket system. It's completely unfair and honestly feels cruel. At the end of class, the kids are lined up and only a few are chosen for tickets, while others -- including my son -- are left standing there empty-handed, over and over again. The coaches seem to pick the same kids every week, like they have favorites. My son comes home in tears thinking he did something wrong or just wasn't good enough. It breaks my heart. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way -- other parents I know have said the same thing. All kids should be encouraged and praised for their effort, not compared or made to feel less than. This is hurting their confidence and self-esteem. Something needs to change. Kids deserve a safe, positive, and encouraging space -- not one that makes them feel small or left out.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience truly broke my heart…read more I enrolled my 3-year-old son in this gymnastics program hoping it would be a positive, welcoming space where he could learn, grow, and interact with other children. My son is autistic, and like any parent, I'm doing everything I can to help him feel included and comfortable in the world. Before starting, I made the staff aware of his needs. Instead of patience or understanding, what we experienced was the complete opposite. The instructors displayed unprofessional and hurtful behavior--making uncomfortable looks, using hand gestures to signal him to go away, and essentially excluding him rather than supporting him. No child should ever be made to feel like they don't belong--especially in a place that's supposed to encourage growth and confidence. Watching this happen to my son was devastating. I understand that not every instructor is trained to work with children who have different needs--but that is exactly why proper training and awareness are so important. If you're going to work with young children, compassion, patience, and inclusivity should be the baseline. I share this so other parents are aware. Every child deserves kindness, respect, and a chance to participate without judgment. I hope this business takes this seriously and invests in educating their staff so no other child or parent has to go through this.

Almost like the foam pit was sacred space. There were 3 coaches but only 1 really giving instruction. So instead of 3 groups of kids it was just 1 big group. Lots of waiting around for instruction. They played hide and seek for most of the time. I had a few kids come tell me they wanted to play in the foam pit and use the foam pads but were denied. Also, no water breaks. The older kids told me after that they were denied water and told to wait until it was time to eat which was another 30 min later. I had great communication with Jenny up until after the party when I went to give her feedback. This is the text I sent her," Good morning Jenny, thank you for letting us have my kids birthday party at your gym. Just a few things before I forget. There was a lot of waiting around and definitely not enough free play. I understand it was a large group but this should have been thought through and organized to accommodate our group size. My deciding factor to come to this gym was the gym itself and half of the time the kids were waiting around for instruction and playing hide and seek. Also, there were no water breaks. We had a few kids who asked for a water and they were told to wait until it was time to eat, which didn't happen for another 30 min. All and in all most kids had a great time. Just wanted to give you feedback for future parties. Thanks again! " This place wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. I probably won't book a birthday here again. I wasn't going to make this review but it seems I'm not the only person who didn't have the best experience here. Still haven't received not one peep from this place.
