Funtastic Gymnastics was honestly a huge disappointment. The place looked unorganized, and the staff didn't seem interested in helping anyone. Classes felt rushed, and no one explained what we were supposed to be doing. The equipment looked worn out, and half the time we were just waiting around instead of actually practicing. For a place that advertises being "fun," it really didn't feel that way at all. I expected a much better experience, but I left feeling frustrated and let down. read more

My daughter has been going to Funtastic Gymnastics since she was 2. She is now 11 and can do multiple back flips and is working on her back tuck! It was my daughter's dream to do back flips at a cheer performance, and she recently achieved it! She could not have reached that goal without the love and support from her coaches. The team at Funtastic goes above and beyond to ensure the students are progressing in their skills with confidence. It is also their priority to encourage the students, boost their self-esteem by giving positive affirmations, and include everyone as part of the team. They take the safety of the students extremely seriously - there are always highly trained staff for each class with many safety protocols. We love Funtastics! My daughter went here for a little over a year, before the Covid pandemic and we finally just started up again. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the girls do not have to wear masks while practicing, which is GREATLY appreciated. Ok, so yeah I am one of those parents that thinks my toddler is bound to be an olympic athlete because she is unusually bendy, thinks front rolling down staircases is perfectly acceptable and likes to do things like scale up the kitchen counter and jump off the refrigerator... but can stick the landing (impressive right??). So, I brought her here to constructively hone in on those not so desirable home skills and put them to better use. She has definitely found her niche here, and not only learned how to be safe but how to LISTEN. Ms. Jesse is so amazing with her we will be driving well over an hour a week each way to continue our lessons now that we have moved. read more

Disclaimer: I'm not unfamiliar with party venues, so I tend to look for (and expect) a lot from places... and we were there for a birthday party. Invited to bring the tot to Funtastic to a recent birthday, and all told, it was a solid middle of the road experience. The sole staff member kept things moving along, though the program was a tad regimented. Faced with a ton of stuff to play upon, at least my kid wanted to keep playing, not eat a snack. She made a noble, but weak effort, and wanted to go play more, but the staffer told her to stay put (nicely, but stay put). Pros: The kids all seemed to enjoy the place, the restrooms were clean, and unlike the earlier 1-star review from eons ago, the attendant was involved and pleasant. (Looking at the one photo on the wall, I'd guess she's family, but I'm a big fan of such things, too.) She was paying attention 95% of the time, called the kids off if they tried to do more than one at a time on the trampolines (safety first, eh); the 5% was when a family came in and was asking about... something (party, classes, whatever), and that consumed the staffer's attention. I'm personally of the mindset that Q&A and such shouldn't occur on my party's time, but dunno what their policies are, so merely an observation. Cons: I wasn't at all impressed with the stack of light-duty plastic storage crates used as steps to the one trampoline and ZIP-tied together (more so with the one crate on the bottom step showing the white plastic fatigue and cracking that suggest it's close to breaking), nor with the size of the food area (maybe 10x20, which had a fridge, 8 or so chairs for the adults to sit, plus the two 6-8 banquet tables for the 12 guests). Snug, or perhaps cozy, are fitting terms for the area to watch your prodigy bounce around the place. The ending felt a bit abrupt, but again, could just be me. (2 minutes to 'end time,' the Top 40 music was turned off, the kids told to line up to receive a rubber hand-stamp on their hand, a ribbon, a flyer to attend their classes, and a host-family-provided goodie bag.) If it were anything other than a gymnastics place, I'd cast a worried eye on the liability waiver. (Often, they suggest tp me a place isnt aren't safe, aren't insured, or have undue cause for thinking they're going to host a rash of injuries.) That said, the standard of 'clear and complete' may be lost on the photocopied waiver that has words cut off on the right side of the page. I'd suggest re-centering it so folks can read to waive all the words first. (And I actually got a kick out of the aspect of the waiver that they're not responsible for "traffic and weather," as though a rainy day accident down the street would somehow be anyone's fault beyond the dingbat driving the car. All told, not a bad visit for what it is, but as earlier disclaimed, I tend to expect a lot and found some areas lacking. read more

My two daughters and I recently went to a birthday party at Funtastic gymnastics and they had such a great time. There were two employees there during the party in the room they held for the food and for seating was a decent size that fit about three tables. Thinking about doing my daughter's third birthday here because that's all she can talk about since she was there. Employees were very friendly and very knowledgeable with every question I had. I would definitely consider having your next birthday party or kid get together at this facility. Updated: I attended their free play on Friday from 7pm- 9pm and my kids had a blast. This review is for the toddler classes. Perhaps a bit $$$ at $12 each (plus a yearly fee which seems weird?) But otherwise the classes are fun and the teachers are great. About 10 kids in each class. You have to commit to a class time ahead of time, and can't just drop in- this is one thing i wish was different, it would be great to be able to take one week off, go twice the next week, etc. Maybe they could have a prepaid punch card option? Otherwise were happy here and plan to continue. Classes for age walking-3 are tues at 1030 and 430 and sat at 11 (45 min each). I found it SO hard to find a regular class schedule on the website so had to call. read more

My mom had my sister's party here . They booked the birthday at 12 pm, then later changed the time to 12:30. My mom had this party planned for sometime , so she had decorations dropped off before the day of the party. I arrived with my sister at 1230, only to find my family decorating. The 2 people who work here, didn't bother to come in and decorate . They were helping minimally. Their excuse was that they have classes until 12. My question is why didn't they come in before classes to decorate? Or why advertise that you can decorate only have to cut into the 2 hour party period? They staff wasnt even sorry. I LovE this place! My 3yr old is enrolled here and enjoys going to her classes. Its Very professional and fun. The equipment and facility is well taken care of and clean. My daughter Leylonni has been going here since she was about 4. Since they started a team she has been on it ever since and LOVES it. Just had my daughter's birthday here today. We had 30 kids so there were 3 coaches and they were all very nice. I got there at 1:15 (the time they told me) for our 1:30 party and I was a little stressed about having only 15 minutes to set up. But they were very helpful and it was no problem. They give you the choice of having structured games or letting the kids run around and play freely (which is what we did). A couple kids forgot a rule or 2 a couple times but they were still very nice about it. Not scolding, just reminding them. We decided to just do cake and presents at the end and then pass out the goodie bags and send everyone on their way after but we finished those things up with 10 minutes left and they happily sent the kids off to play for it even though they were going to have to round them all up again soon. When we did presents the wrote me a list of what she got and who from, they handed out the cake pops and the goodie bags for me, helped us clean up and even load our car. All in all a great experience for everyone. We will definitely be back. read more

My two daughters love the new larger gym. It's is so nice and much roomier. We have been going to funtastic off and on for 13 years. The coaches are great people who really care about their students. My youngest daughter is on the Trampoline and Tumbling team. This will be her 3rd year on team. We had 7 girls go all the way to Oklahoma in July to compete in the National championships. And all the girls did great. We love the team it is like a second family. We are at the gym 3 days a week and the coaches have really made our team shine. It's really fun to watch the girls improve and keep moving up in their levels. This year we have our first boy on team and I can't wait to see what he can do at the meets. He is already awesome and I'm sure the coaches will have him doing even harder things when the season starts. My daughter loves the new tumble track to help perfect harder skills without hurting herself. . She also loves that the ceilings are higher so she can bounce higher on the trampoline. It makes it much easier to do higher levels. She is also happy that they have more room to run further to bounce onto the double mini. All in all it is a great place to do gymnastics with lots of different options to choose from. read more

Funtastic Gymnastics is awesome! I can review them both as a birthday party venue and a gymnastics class provider. My daughter has been attending classes there since the end of January and she LOVES it! The classes are structured but still easy and fun for a beginner and she has learned a lot and become way more coordinated and athletic. Miss Jessie is super sweet and she is phenomenal with the kids. It's a really relaxed and fun atmosphere all around. We also just had our daughters 5th birthday party there and it was a huge success. Miss Jessie helped is decorate, attended to all of the kids, helped us clean up.. Everything I could have asked for and more at really great prices (both classes and parties!) I look forward to my daughter continuing to attend classes until she switches to Miss Jenna's class who is also super sweet and great with the kids. The new toddler area is great for little ones and keeps them from running into the older kids in the larger area.
