Cali All Stars is definitely a top-tier gym with a celebrity reputation. That said, they don't…read morealways put their money where their mouth is. While they preach that athletes must meet certain skill levels--like having tumbling or flexibility--it's not consistently applied. There are athletes on higher-level teams (like J2 Crew, Covert, Swagg, and Pink) who lack basic tumbling skills or flexibility, yet they still get picked year after year. Meanwhile, kids who do have the skills are often overlooked. For example, there was a girl on J2 Crew who has been there for years and still doesn't have a back handspring. Yet, an athlete didn't get to fly because she was a priority. Weird. Cali is an amazing gym if you fit the "type" or look they're going for. But if you don't, skillset alone might not get you where you deserve to be. Just know--it's not always about talent. Sometimes, it's about the image they want to present. Your team will WIN but your child internally may not.

At first we told her why can't you go to Valley Cheer as it was in our hometown. Well long story short, we ended up taking her to Cali. Best decision we ever made. She started on a senior level 1 team as a flyer, which she loves. Let's just say she has the bug. She wanted to do Cali for a year to improve so she could tryout for HS Cheer, well guess what?!? You got it, she didn't tryout for HS as her main focus is to move up a level each year with Cali. This year she made a Jr. Level 2 team. She is one of the oldest, and is now a base. She is enjoying learning how to base, and her tumbling has improved in less than 2 years. This year will give her the opportunity to be a leader to the younger kids on the team. The staff is incredible!!! Calvin and Andrew were terrific coaches last year when she was on Deja Blue. They taught her to believe in herself. She gained confidence as well as wonderful friendships (so did this momma). The gym has taught her how to work hard, have goals and be disciplined. She has experienced highs, lows and many life lessons. We look forward to her year on J2-Crew, and working with Coach Brittany & Matt. Faith over Fear!!! Cali

Yvonne and Rich, the owners , live for the athletes here and treat each athlete like their own . I have never seen such love and care poured into a program like it is here at Golden Elite Allstars . This is our family and our home . We looked at other gyms like Power and NCE prior to joining GEA, but none of those places had what Golden Elite Allstars had . This is more than just about cheer and tumbling , it is the gold standard in elite cheer and you feel it the moment you walk into the building . We came from a sideline program . My daughter wanted more . She wanted elite cheer . She wanted to grow in this amazing and exiting sport . The other places we tried, they were cold and indifferent and honestly rude when we called/visited. We felt like we were just a number to their gym . Not at GEA . My daughter is in the gym 4-5 days a week , Sometimes more . I can't get her to leave the gym . We spend more time there than we do at our own home and we wouldn't have it any other way . The entire coaching staff is dedicated, devoted , and immersed into the growth and success of each athlete that walks into the gym. From cheer to the tumbling with Just Tumble . The level of attention is bar none . Yvonne is just the most amazing owner . She treats my daughter like her own and my girl has thrived leaps and bounds and her future is so bright with the love and care she has received . The teams work hard , and the coaches are there , dedicated to coaching the best teams for the season . My daughter has become sisters with her teammates and loves her coaches so much . She feels safe and loved here at GEA and I am so incredibly blessed by what GEA has done for my daughter . Thank you for Just creating this most amazing program and home for us away from home . If you are looking for a family to love your kiddo and really be invested in growing their skill and love your athlete , then your search has ended here . Come join the family, you will not regret it at all !

The tumbling classes are great and so are the tumbling coaches. My daughter loves the tumbling…read morecoaches. However, My daughter tried out for level two All Star cheer last year at GEA. They told us she didn't make an All Star team at all, only the mini prep team. She was devastated. She worked two years towards her tumbling and stunts. She was already doing mini prep the year prior. She learned and perfected handsprings and many other skills prior to her first year of mini prep, but it was our first year of cheer so we accepted it, but a second season of mini prep is not acceptable for her with her skills. So we decided we would try out at several gyms just to find out if GEA was right or wrong. Yep, GEA was totally wrong to place my daughter on Mini prep a second year, according to all the other All Star gyms. My daughter made level 2 All Star at every location she tried out for. So what did we do? We packed our bags and moved on to another gym. Couldn't be happier that we did. Half of the All Star coaches, office staff and both owners are fake at GEA. If you are there favorite and fake like them this is the best place for you. If you question them they will treat you like a snake, for asking. My daughter was treated unfairly by the owner several times. She would come home crying and crying when I told her she had to go to cheer practice at GEA. My daughter moved to a different gym. She goes and comes home a happy girl now. She has come so far at her new All Star gym. At her new All Star gym they treat her like she matters and she is off soon to compete at Nationals in Orlando Florida. We are looking good and confident. Even if we don't win, we are happy just to be free from GEA. Her coach at her new gym and her tumbling gym all say she is ready to try out for level 3 now. If we were at GEA not sure they would let her move up. They tend to try and keep the girls stale. Unless you are their favorite and yes, they have those favorite girls. Those favorite girls are turning out like them at GEA fake and they will treat your girl badly and get away with it. However, don't stick up for yourself there against those mean favorite girls because they won't get into trouble, you will. If you're not their favorite you will get into trouble for sticking up for yourself against them. I would not recommend this gym. I would recommend if you are a real honest person keep looking around for a gym that treats you and your kids with respect and kindness. We were not the only family who left this gym because of how they were treated. I know a lot of those people who left. They are so much happier now. Tryouts coming soon. My daughter will be trying out for level three but not at GEA. Never ever again.

Our first experience with the business was their website. It is kept up to date and has all of the information you need. Our next experience was their parent portal. It is so easy to use. I love how easy it is to find and register for classes. I also love that you can check your athletes progression toward his or her skills. Then we actually got to go to the gym for tryouts. It is a simple process, and everyone is so kind and welcoming. The owner was present and willing to answer questions. I loved how honest and up front he was. The coaches push the athletes to be there best and work hard, and as a result I observed some of the best tumbling technique I have ever seen as I watched the practice that was running at the same time as tryouts. We are still deciding if we can do the hour (each way) commute twice a week for tumbling and cheer, but if she does choose to cheer it will be here.

The coaches are rude and offer no feedback to the tumblers. They appear lazy and disengaged. You are NOT allowed to watch and will receive dirty looks and a phone call if you do. This place is a huge waste of money and will offer no growth when your tumbler is leveled down under their level despite doing skills near perfect, there is always a slight deduction they will notice. When you question them they get defensive and rude and will treat your tumbler with even more criticism. Horrible coaches, horrible system, horrible customer service. Please take your business somewhere else and do NOT allow your tumbler to be belittled and torn appear by them further diminishing their confidence.
