Power is a terrific cheer gym. If you are serious about cheer this is the place to be. We are 15 year veterans.

My daughter was at a fabulous cheer gym in Modesto but unfortunately she had to leave due to us relocating to Clovis.

It was stated in previous messages that…read morethere was a particular uniform ex; black and white, no previous cheer clothes from FEC, and cheer shoes that the children should be wearing for these placements as well as the proper shoes, and none of that is being withheld with many other parents or children. I've seen tye dye clothing, FEC wear and vans shoes, to name a few. Which I find highly unprofessional for a team that is competing. It is also very obvious when the man coach is pulling parents and children aside that they have a connection to these children or that they have or will be on the team. Which is completely biased and has made my six year old not only feel alone, but believe that she will not make it. Last, but not least while waiting in line to drop off my child two of your other mothers stated this isn't Clovis while staring at me. Which is a disgrace for any adult at our age. As a professional cheerleader myself and having my child be part of a competitive team last year, I have never had experience that was so unwelcoming and unprofessional and not withheld to standards. I would not recommend taking your children here ever. Especially paying for them to go there. You couldn't pay me to take her back at this point. While the owner claims they are diverse and welcoming, clearly not enough to accept my half white child and her blonde mother. I'm more diverse than any od them by having a child of Hispanic race, African American/Filipino and white.

Sam DID NOT reach out to the parents of the child who touched my child's private parts (on camera) because he didn't want to make the other family uncomfortable. His negligence made our family uncomfortable and after two years at gymnastics beat, we had to leave the gym. Sam was quick to suggest that we could unenroll our child and he would refund our student funds. Sam's lack of professionalism and respect is unacceptable and he does not care about the safety or well being of all children who attend gymnastics beat. I would give no stars if I could based off Sam's poor attitude and lack of care.

My daughter was inappropriately touched by another student during Saturday morning Acro Competition Practice. We immediately reported it to the coaches who took a written complaint and said they would ensure we were contacted by the owner immediately. We were not contacted by the owner until the following Thursday at 8:30pm at which time he explained that he reviewed the video and did see the incident but says it was likely a mistake and not worth contacting the parents about. Sam was very happy to unenroll my daughter and refund our account after being a member of the facility for 2-1/2 years as well as being a member of their COMP team. When asked if he notified the other parents he said no and he was not going to. I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. I have the video and it is very clear my daughter was violated and that words took place between the children regarding it. Including my daughter pointing and expressing her violation. Sam does not care about you or the safety of your children.

For the birthday, we basically had the place to ourselves for two hours. The venue set up tables in their party area and then you bring everything else; cake, drinks, and decorations. The staff set up gymnastics activities and games for the kids to play right as the party started. I believe they only offer party rentals on the weekends, as the week is filled with gymnastics practice and training. The children had access to pretty much everything in the gymnastics area. I was a little nervous because some of the items (balance beam & swinging bars) looked rather advanced for my six and three year-old, but we made it out alive. My daughter especially loved this and asked if she could come back. They do offer classes as well and I believe are open to the public for free play opportunities. We may have found my daughter's new obsession!

Her ability to empathize, encourage, and teach the athletes is something special to witness. Now that I have children of my own, I would not hesitate to have Annie coach them. I trust her completely to understand athletes' needs and coach them to achieve their goals. I've always appreciated her calm, cool, and collected demeanor on and off the mat. She knows when it's time to have fun (she's really good at that, too) and when it's time to get serious. It doesn't matter if you are considering starting gymnastics for the first time or are a seasoned pro; I'm sure this gym has a place for you to thrive.
