This place is amazing for all ages and makes my kids strive to get to the next level. My 4 year old has been here about a year and this is the highlight of her life. She show cases her flips and splits for our family and friends and always brags about how her coach is her friend. My son is one of the first in this area to be in the Lil Ninja program learning ninja warrior like moves and he gets a great Work out. He moved up a level most recently and we love the new location it's got more party rooms and better viewing space for parents. The staff is always friendly and helpful for all questions and accommodations I need. There is also a parking lot attendant that assists to keep everyone safe if the parking lot. read more

My child was inappropriately touched by another child and when brought to Sam, the owner, he did not respond with any care or action plan to protect my child. Sam DID NOT reach out to the parents of the child who touched my child's private parts (on camera) because he didn't want to make the other family uncomfortable. His negligence made our family uncomfortable and after two years at gymnastics beat, we had to leave the gym. Sam was quick to suggest that we could unenroll our child and he would refund our student funds. Sam's lack of professionalism and respect is unacceptable and he does not care about the safety or well being of all children who attend gymnastics beat. I would give no stars if I could based off Sam's poor attitude and lack of care. read more

The owner of this facility does not care about the safety of your children if it causes an inconvenience to him. My daughter was inappropriately touched by another student during Saturday morning Acro Competition Practice. We immediately reported it to the coaches who took a written complaint and said they would ensure we were contacted by the owner immediately. We were not contacted by the owner until the following Thursday at 8:30pm at which time he explained that he reviewed the video and did see the incident but says it was likely a mistake and not worth contacting the parents about. Sam was very happy to unenroll my daughter and refund our account after being a member of the facility for 2-1/2 years as well as being a member of their COMP team. When asked if he notified the other parents he said no and he was not going to. I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. I have the video and it is very clear my daughter was violated and that words took place between the children regarding it. Including my daughter pointing and expressing her violation. Sam does not care about you or the safety of your children. read more

We just had my 5 year olds birthday party here and I can't say enough how great the staff was. Jayson and Lilly were amazing!! They were beyond helpful throughout the whole event and the kids had a blast. I would highly recommend! read more

We have been part of Pyramid Athletics for the last 1 1/2 years. We were happy with the program itself. There is a known bully on the team who constantly belittles, makes fun of, criticizes and is just flat out cruel and mean to most of the teammates. After multiple complaints and attempts to resolve this issue, the owner has chosen to ignore my concerns and instead cover up the known bullying problem. I was left with the decision to either stay and tolerate bullying or leave. We made the difficult choice to leave the team mid season. I would NOT recommend Pyramid Athletics due to the negative environment and lack of responsibility of the owner. Although the program is great, no amount of positive and good could ever outweigh the negative or justify bullying. read more

My daughter had an excellent experience at a birthday party here! Thank you for your hospitality.

What I witnessed from this gym's team the "Cobras" at the Summit Championship in Florida last weekend was absolutely horrific. In 5 years of my daughter cheering I've never seen anything like it. When the Cobras found out a team (they apparently didn't like) didn't make it to Day 2 to compete several of their athletes turned to this team and scratched their foreheads with their middle fingers. The girls were crying and the Cobras were laughing, taking videos of them crying. Cheerleading should be about good sportsmanship and apparently these girls are taught otherwise. I would never associate with this gym if this is how they are raising the next generation of cheer athletes. read more

Pyramid Athletics/Gymnastics Beat became our home almost 3 years ago when our gym closed down because of the pandemic. They (meaning the staff and other families) welcomed us with open arms and immediately we felt like family. My daughter has flourished in this program because of the positive environment and skill level of coaches and instructors. I highly recommend their gymnastics and cheer program to everyone! read more

Pyramid Athletics has a great cheer program! They have an amazing staff that encourages all athletes to do their best!

So my girls went for a free trial class and they absolutely loved it. Turns out it is the least expensive gym in freano for kids classes. The coaches were very sweet and so patient which is challenging because I have a 2 and a 3yr old. They tend to get very antsy and want to be all over the place. There were different stations to keep them moving and to keep their interest. My girls were red and sweaty after class so after a bath it was an ease to get them into bed. Thanks gym beat!! read more

Gymnastics Beat - Zoe waiting for her big sister to get out of class - Gymnastics Near Me - Fresno, California

Gymnastics beat has been our home for competitive cheer for the past 3 seasons. Our daughter competes with their cheer program, "Pyramid Athletics". The staff in the front office, as well as all of coaching staff (gymnastics & cheer) have always been very welcoming and accommodating. I have dealt with cheer gyms for a long time being a former coach and can easily say this is the best one we have ever dealt with as a coach and as a parent. I highly recommend their cheer program to anyone who asks. read more

Gymnastics Beat came into our lives about a year ago. A friend referred us to the "open gym" nights. Open Gym is exactly what it sounds like. The entire floor is open for kids, ages 7-12, to be dropped off to play. Yes, I said dropped off and YES, I enjoy every second at the nearby Target. For parents with younger children, you can stay and play with them in the kitty corner. $7 for a member, $10 for non-members. You can do this from 7pm-10pm (sometimes midnight). After some time, we got brave and did a gymnastics sleepover. YES, they host sleepovers and YES, they are worth every penny. Why? Well my dear parent friends, you drop them off at 7pm and keep them there until 9am! By the way, they never sleep there. So when you bring them home, they literally will go straight to bed and sleep all day on Sunday. Parenting win! $35 if you pay in advance, $45 if you pay the day of. That's a steal guys! Gymnastics Beat does birthday parties too. They do a really good job at keeping the kids busy while all the parents get to sit and relax. I've been to many kids birthday parties and if I had to pick, I'd pick Gymnastics Beat every time. The staff really goes out of the way to make it enjoyable for everyone in the building. Summer camp is something I didn't even know was an option. It costs roughly $35 a day, per kid. They take potty trained kids from ages 3-12. It's from 8:30am-4:30pm, M-F during school breaks. They have theme days, the kids learn how to do basic tumbling and play well with others. My daughter went every day without a single complaint other than wanting money on her snack bar account. We do have a younger daughter that is 3. I really fought with taking her there because she is my little baby and I worried that she'd get lost in the mix or be a handful. I was SO wrong! I ended up taking her and I never heard the end of it. She begs to go now. The coaches and staff were so good with her and everyone asks about her now. On a side note, the camp days are long and exhausting days for the kids. They come home so sleepy. Gymnastics beat offers many classes for all ages. They even have a few cheer teams and a gymnastics team. I've witnessed nothing but professionalism from all of the staff, including the owner. This place has become a second home to our family. It is a place in Fresno that isn't recognized enough. If you are a parent of young children looking for a new activity, I encourage you to stop by this gym. Take a seat, watch the staff bring out the talent in these kids. Watch these kids realize their dream. You will be awe struck. read more

You pretty much have to be a rich parent to be able to have your child take all the classes that they need and excel at this place. These for classes, specialty classes, and then uniforms it makes it very competitive and nonbeneficial to children that don't have a lot of money because they do absolutely nothing to work with you in that state. My daughter is highly advanced for her level but since we didn't have the funds she wasn't able to progress. Also I work out of town a lot and she may not be able to attend. If a child misses a class they're allowed to do a make up class. After missing about five classes due to my work schedule I found out that I could put a freeze on my account if I knew I was going to be out of town for work that way she could just pick up where she left off rather then have to schedule makeups. This sounded great until I found out that if I put a freeze on my account I would lose all of the make ups that we had already accrued because nobody thought to tell me that I could put a freeze on my account when I informed them All the times prior that she would not be able to attend because of my work schedule. It really makes me sad the way my daughter looks of the girls who get to compete and get into high levels and get to wear the fancy uniforms all because their parents are able to work out the hundreds of dollars per month. And the owner should think about this and set up a system where children who are great and gymnastics can excel no matter of their family income read more

My daughter has been going here for over a year now and we love the staff and instructors. We're very thankful for the summer and holiday camps that they offer. Rates are very affordable and the ability to reserve a day at a time makes this a convenient place to send her to. She enjoys the mix of gymnastics with arts and crafts during camp -- especially the water days during the summer! read more

Office staff was nice and very welcoming. I also like my daughter coach. She was very bubbly and my daughter enjoys working with her.

We love Gym Beat!!! Sam and his staff are awesome. The facility is huge. We love the tumbling and gymnastic classes. The cheer coaches are great too. It seems like one big family at GymBeat! We've used their open gym nights on the weekends to go on date-night with my husband. Only $7 per kid!!!!! Way cheaper than a sitter AND they're getting exercise! read more

I came here solely to review this place. I live in L.A. And I just stopped by. Let me tell you, it was the best gymnastics gym I have ever visited. I took "urban gymnastics" which was basically freerunning. I had already learned this skill, but they taught me based on my level. The staff seems like they will never get angry with you and are the nicest people in the world. Coach Sam was so nice to me and so was Coach Shawn. I loved the experience. Definitely recommend. read more

Gymnastics Beat has been a 2nd home to my girls over the years. It began many years ago when they both attended summer camp while we had to go work. Gymnastics Beat was the most reasonable place in town and their service hours actually matched what we needed, where most of the fun camps in town run 9-4. Those hours would be great if I didn't work but any place that doesn't open their doors by 7:00 am and keep them open until 5:30 is just not an option for any of us full time working parents. Gymnastics Beat designs their summer/winter/spring camps around working parents who needed a safe place to take their kids when they are on break from school but they provide so much more that. After a summer of camp and exposure to the gymnasts, cheerleaders and coaches, my girls begged to enroll for classes....so we did. My oldest, Taylor went on to compete on the Artistic Team and trained over 3 years to a level 6 Gymnast. As a junior in high school, the hours required to train became too much as her academic responsibilities grew. But because of her gymnastics background, Taylor's strength and endurance shined in PE where she caught the attention of the PE Teacher who also happens to be the track coach for Central. He pursued her for the Pole Vault Team and she is now enjoying her junior year equipped and succeeding in a tough sport because of her gymnastics background with Gymnastics Beat. Taylor misses her days training at Gymnastics Beat but she still enjoys attending the weekend open gym nights where she is able to access all of her old equipment and play on her old training grounds with all of the coaches who helped mold her into the fine athlete she is today. My youngest daughter was never interested in competing but as a cheerleader through her school, we have had her in tumbling classes over the years and this has made her a stand out member of her cheer squad. We take advantage of the private lessons offered by the gymnastics coaches to help keep her tumbling skills strong. Because of her skills, the cheer coach often has her concluding the cheer routines solo with gymnastics maneuvers which has been great for sense of confidence as a pre teen. Gymnastics Beat and the fabulous staff have made such an impact in the lives of my girls over the years and I will always be so thankful for the contribution they have made. When you walk in the doors at Gymnastics Beat you are welcomed by people who know you and your children by name and make you feel like you are home. When you make the decision to join Gymnastics Beat, you will be instantly adding value to your children's lives and gaining a gym full of older brothers and sisters to love on your children and teach them so much more than gymnastics. read more

Two problems with this Gymnastics Beat. The place is filthy. I've been going there for 2 years and am not aware of any periodic cleaning or disinfecting. The place has never smelled of anything other than the stench of sweat and grime. Ive never seen the workers cleaning...anything. I believe this stems from lack of effective management, which leads me to problem #2. The owner is very easy going and nice. I do not believe this is an effective way to run a business...and I know this from experience. The place is often run by youngsters who seem to be just 'hanging out'. Try calling Gymnastics Beat during normal business hours and you will see my point. The phone will ring and ring, with no answer. Useful information is typically difficult to obtain from most staff members. Gymnastics Beat is a good gym, with good equipment and competent instruction. I think it is fair to take 1 star away for each of my above complaints. 3 stars seems more than fair and objective, to me. Tx. read more

Great place,my daughter loves it here. Coach Jill is great!! My daughter is 6 and looks forward to coming every week. From the front desk staff to the coaches everyone has been great to work with. My kids have gone here since 2003. They are always friendly and helpful. In addition to the classes we have held our birthday parties here every year. It is so convenient. No clean up or preparation. The managers were rude and unprofessional. And they messed up on my billing twice. I've spoken to others about why I left this facility and they mentioned having issues with billing too, so it wasn't an isolated issue with me. My at the time twin toddlers were enrolled in their mommy and me class. Right before class in front of everyone a manger told me I could no longer bring both of my children by myself anymore, that she guessed I could stay just for today since I was already there but if I wanted to return I needed to bring some one with me to do the class with my twins. I was astounded by the fact that she didn't pull me aside to talk to me about any issues she had with liability and numbers but also how rude and unprofessional she handled the whole situation. I would never return to this gym due to the management the coaches were nice. My children I have been going to V-Force Elite in Madera and we all love it!!! Same price for more professional and nicer management and staff. read more

My daughter has been taking classes here for 6 years. When I first began investigating gymnastic classes I had no idea what each type of class was about. I called and left a message and Sam the owner called me back himself. He explained the different types and gave me his recommendation for where she should start. I've found the coaches to be caring and dedicated, and we really enjoy the new facility. I would recommend this gym to both beginning and veteran gymnasts. read more

Horrible, unprofessional facility. The coaches told my daughter she will never be able to go to college doing gymnastics. They didn't invite her to the team end of the year banquet. Throughout the entire gymnastic season they bullied, harassed and talked poorly to other parents about my daughter. She would leave practice 3 out of 4 nights in tears because of the poor treatment. I attempted to discuss with the owner, Sam, who basically said "I don't care". They are over priced, and there are better gyms out there. Don't subject your child to the torture or this gym. read more

Gymnastics Beat is a great place for the entire family. My daughter loves going to her "gym", doesn't matter if it's for her gymnastics class, open gym nights, birthday parties or even camps during school vacations. Last weekend we attended another party there, and so many parents were very pleased about the place. Gymnastics Beat is almost like a hidden gem here in Fresno, people know of the place yet so many others are unaware. The coaches are awesome!! We know most of the coaches by name and each time they see us they greet us by name. Keep up the great work! We can't wait to see all the good things to come for Gymnastics Beat in the New Year... as they will be relocating to what I hear is a larger building. Which only means more gymnastics, parties and camps. Ask any child and they will tell you Gymnastics Beat is the place to be! Thank you to all the coaches and staff :) read more

This business is extremely disorganized. We had a terrible experience trying to schedule a birthday party for our son here and ultimately we had to cancel the party altogether after our date and time were given away to someone else. This business did not answer their phone for entire days AND did not return messages when several were left on their answering machine. When I finally did get someone on the phone, the "director of operations" gave me a list of open dates and times for a birthday party. I told her I'd mull those dates and times over and call back. I called back within an hour and again back to no one answering the phone. This went on for another day. My husband was able to get someone on the phone the next evening. He was told if he did not give a deposit, he would be notified if our time was at risk of being given away. In the meantime, I ordered invitations for the party and started inviting our friends and family. Two days later, a girl called from Gymnastics Beat to tell us my son's party date and time slot was reserved by someone else "back in April". I was told I could select a new time or day. I asked to speak to someone about getting some sort of reimbursement or compensation for their mistake. The director of operations called me and did not seem to find any fault in their actions, she also did not find it necessary to waive the deposit or give us any sort of credit. She said the person who reserved the spot paid their deposit, hence the slot now belonged to that person. She continued to refer to it as their "policy". Never mind the girl earlier said it was reserved back in April and the director of operations herself told me two days before the time slot was available?? It seemed like she was lying to cover up for their poor handling of this situation. After all this disorganization and total disregard for my son's party, I chose to not go forth in choosing another day and time. I opted not to do business with them and I caution others in doing so, as well. It seems they use "policy" as an excuse to make up for their mishaps. In summary, the director of operations has a lot of work to do in directing their operations in a more efficient, reliable way. read more
