We suspected razor burn at first and there was some scabbing in his front arm pit but his pain was in his back leg. Vet said he had a pulled ligament! Tried to exchange it two weeks later (delayed bc our dog happened to get super sick around that time) with a receipt, and both the clerk and manager basically said they wouldn't do an exchange bc they couldn't guarantee we weren't the ones that ripped the bag. We literally had no reason to do such a thing and do a direct exchange. We've also spent hundreds of dollars at Nor Cal, if not over a thousand, and it is a huge slap in the face and terrible customer to not work with us on this. Will not be wasting our time or money in the future on a store that won't exchange defective products, or make decisions based on logic.

First, my dogs LOVE Linn, which means they are treated well when they are there. I've been taking…read moremultiple generations of my cocker spaniels to her since the 1990's when she was in Sunny Brae! I do keep my cockers' hair short to avoid mats and keep them cool in the Summer. But, yes, they sometimes get matted and gross but Linn always calls me to discuss shaving them down, which I do if that is what she recommends. I have them groomed every 6-7 weeks which keeps them clean and looking good. She's also helped when my dogs have been "skunked". She got her smelling much better than I could at home. Her move to Blue Lake meant driving a little further but it is well worth it to know your babies area safe in her care. I highly recommend her.

We are an outdoorsy, active family and I trust her judgment and consult with her about what is the best cut for my pets. Sometimes they're long and gorgeous and sometimes the mats and sand and tangles from ocean or rivers are too much and it's time for a shave. I drove 2 hours to make it. I asked for a TRIM on his paws & butt. Here we are 10 years later & I took my husky who got completely botched. I'm going to drop the photos here for everyone to review & make their own decisions. I know hair will grow back but this shows the "expertise" of the groomer. I know this review may do no good to the owner whose response to criticism has been quite colorful to say the least, but I do know that in a small town word travels faster than wildfire & I plan to take my botched pup to every local place to show off his "muddy paws look".
