Insomnia? 6 months ago I was staying up all night worried about my family's financial future. I felt like I was going to have a heart attack or stroke from the stress. So, how did we get to this point? Business was affected by Covid. My wife was laid off so our income was slashed in half. Started racking up credit card debt. Paying the minimum. Then, there was the financial burden of taking care of elderly parents. I tried debt consolidation but it would take multiple years to pay down the overwhelming mountain of debt compounding like a pounding headache of misery. I felt trapped in a circle of debt, barely getting by month to month with cost of living going up. Then I met with Michael to pick his brain and discuss my options. Our best strategy was to file for chapter 7 bankruptcy. To get a fresh start. This was the best choice for us. Highly recommend talking to Michael and Tamara to just review your options. Worst case at least you will have some clarity of what solutions are out there. Michael held our hands and walked us through everything. Tamara does most of the heavy lifting. She is amazing. Much respect to Tamara's patience and diligence. She told us exactly what was necessary to file so the process was easy and smooth. I spent many hours to get all my docs in order per her request. So, dont be lazy and get your stuff in order. John is the confident lawyer. Straight shooter. Decades of experience with the trustees. Highly recommend a lawyer to file instead of trying to do it yourself. 4 months later. Discharged over $200K of debt. Now I can sleep at night like a baby. Thank you so much to FCC. I feel like I got a second chance. God bless America for having a system that allows qualified debtors to get a "fresh start". Much gratitude.

    I had two experiences here in the same day. It started off pretty terribly, but the woman who…read morehelped me the second time was much kinder and better at her job. When I first arrived, I was helped by Maurie (apologies if I misspelled the name). She was unenthused and borderline dissociative, and when my transaction failed, was told there was nothing she could do and I had to call. I asked if I could try it another way, and she just said, "No." LOL. Okay, so I went outside and called and was told the transaction failed because it was a first time request, but would go through now. The customer service representative on the phone also informed me that she should have tried it for me instead of being difficult. I went back and was given so much attitude from Maurie who told me she couldn't help anyway because she was leaving and i could wait for the other teller to get back in five minutes. When a manager asked me what the issue was, I started telling her what had happened and from behind the counter, Maurie starts interjecting and accusing me of lying. Girl. None of what I was saying was a lie. And she was just so rude and disrespectful it made me never want to go to that location again. The manager had to reign her in a bit, but she was still shooting me dirty looks and I just can't believe you're allowed to act this way in client facing roles these days. Like i said, the woman who helped me after this -- my transaction was able to be completed, FYI! -- was much kinder and that made me feel a little better about the experience. So, those two stars are for her, and zero are for Maurie.

I have, many medical conditions And bills to pay. I opened a new account and deposited my paycheck using the mobile app. I knew it would take a day or so to be available, but instead, 2 days later, they decided to hold it for a week and a half. Making it impossible for me to seek medical treatment (gey my prescriptions), have money for food and gas, and also pay some very necessary bills. I had already set up direct deposit for my next check, and they said I would have access to it immediately after deposit, which was a LIE, and they once again denied me access to the money for four additional days because they had not sent me a debit card yet, which means for 2 weeks they held over $2,500.00 and would provide no resolution. I couldn't even transfer the money to a friend to help me out, because I did not have the debit card. They told me to go to a local branch. I live in Nashville. The nearest local branch in Chicago. I spent every day for week a total of six to seven hours on the phone (while very sick with pneumonia due to complications of the flu due to my rheumatoid arthritis and early onset Parkinson's Disease) and STILL GOT NOWHERE. Once I finally got my debit card, they said everything was resolved, ad it wouldn't have any further issues. So I foolishly deposited my next paycheck yesterday (for some stupid reason I actually believed them), which I needed access to in the next day or so. And they're now are saying they're holding it until the 25th and that this is NO WAY to override the computer or speed up receiving MY HARD EARNED MONEY!! Because it's a computer program, there no one in the entire organization, that can help me, (of course that is according to them). So once again, I'll be going without some medical treatments, and I will have a number of bills that will not be paid because they're holding my money hostage (which those executives making the big bucks will never understand or even respond to). I have been talked down to, patronized offered hollow platitudes, dismissed, been hung up on, and I have had a thoroughly unpleasant banking experience with this company or rthe last month. I am shocked they are allowed to do this. And I have never, in my forty years of banking, ever run into this problem, PERIOD. I HAVE BEEN IN TEARS, BEGGING FOR HELP AND A SOLUTION, BUT HAVE GOTTEN ZERO HELP. This company is horrible, uncaring, and wholly UNTRUSTWORTHY. DO NOT trust them with your money. They will continue to screw you and screw you. And for somebody who desperately relies on his funds for medical care and bills, not to be able to have access to my hard-earned money has been awful and made for a very rough month. PLEASE, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, NEVER USE THIS BANK.
