I communicated that clearly when her team reached out and also shared that I intended to return next year. At that point, I was explicitly told I would be **deleted from the system** and treated as a new client because I did not file with them this year, despite a 6 year client relationship. That included being placed on a waitlist, paying significantly higher fees, and no longer working with Kristina directly, but instead being reassigned to someone else on her team. I spoke with Kristina directly to better understand the decision, and she confirmed this is now standard policy. What made this particularly frustrating is that this is not a large corporate structure where policies are fixed or inflexible. This is her business, and these are policies that have been recently introduced and are fully within her control. Applying them this rigidly, without any consideration for a long-standing client relationship, felt unnecessary and reduced a long-term client relationship to a transaction. After 6 years of consistent business, being effectively reset after one year of not needing services is difficult to justify from a client perspective. This ultimately reflects poor relationship management. I would strongly recommend clarifying continuity expectations in advance, as prior client history ultimately carries no weight under this model.

My first impression was that Debbie and Mady are both laid back people with good senses of humor and seem to approach their clients and work with friendliness and respect. Debbie who makes the appointments and looks like she helps in many ways, was very nice and managed all the paperwork I emailed. Mady is personable and knowledgeable and I was very happy that he went over my entire tax return with me and answered all my questions. The office has a few different sections so don't be afraid to ask for privacy if you feel more comfortable discussing your taxes (without anyone else in the room waiting). They happily accommodated my request. I got money back and in legit, legal ways. Mady does not seem to cut corners, while still making sure I got all the breaks and benefits I could. Their office also seems organized - important for a tax office. They also always answered the phone when I called. Street parking is easy in the area. Call and make an appointment first. They take checks (or Visa/Mastercard with a $5 service fee). I was charged $250 which I think was reasonable. I was happy with how my return was handled and will definitely be back next year. My Gurlssss !!!! Can I just say ...Power team !!! I was grandfathered to them by my old tax man ... but what a blessing !!!!! They were amazing with my taxes for 2016 and well as helping me with all my accounting for my new business venture . I recently opened a blowout bar called Dolled up in the city of Torrance( and yes the are located in Burbank !!! thats how amazing they are ) and they helped me understand things that I didn't as well as made it super comfortable for me as opening a new business is very stress full! I spent another hour gathering the requested documents and walking her through everything in detail after spending her an email. She told me she would review the information and get back to me with a quote. After not hearing back, I followed up by email on June 26 and received no response. A few days later, I called and left a voicemail requesting an update again, no response. I called once more on June 30 and still did not receive a response. I'm disappointed that I invested so much time explaining my business and sharing sensitive financial information, only to be completely ignored afterward. Even if they decided they weren't the right fit, a simple courtesy response would have been the professional thing to do. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm. The lack of communication and professionalism resulted in a significant waste of my time.
