At first when they did the accounting it was great. Then the Owner Josh got too busy and handed…read moreeverything over to his assistant, Jenn who is not a CPA and made many mistakes. One mistake where she paid our payroll taxes twice, and when I mentioned she became defensive. Made me feel like I shouldn't have asked, It took 4 months to receive the overpayment. Later I received a phone call from Josh stating he was too busy to handle my account and he was dealing with bigger & larger accounts at the present. Rather than dealing with his assistant and her ineptitude with Taxes, he decided let me go. But this was a BLESSING IN DISGUISE because I now found an accountant who cares, who returns my calls, files my taxes on time, and doesn't pass everything off to his assistant who is not a CPA. IN RESPONSE TO JENN's REPLY: I beg to differ, it took you 4 months to refund the overpayment and the transition to the new accountant was lousy. No payroll info I had to do the research. You are not an accountant and you should not be doing taxes period.

He then lied to me about having sent it electronically and by mail and did neither of the things he indicated he would do or did do. This guy is bad news and should be closed for business. He also made bad accounting decisions for the person that referred me to him that cost him penelties and interest on his tax filing. My advice is to run for the hills DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE EVER! He presented me with a detailed spreadsheet of several scenarios that clearly explained the tax liabilities I would have for each. It was very well organized and easy to interpret. Given the tax changes for 2018 this was an extra level of work that I was quite impressed with. He also took the extra time to answer my follow up questions and educate me on tax implications for exercising and selling my stock options, AMT credits, 2018 tax changes, etc. He was quick to return my calls, emails, and to set up in person meetings. He was upfront with his costs and they were definitely fair when I compared them to other CPAs. I highly recommend his services!
