This past weekend a group of 20 or so of us came in for my daughter's 12th birthday. I didn't order a party package but they accommodated us. They have a pretty solid beer selection-beers tend to go for anywhere between $7-$8 a beer-not too bad in my opinion.Though they do offer a pretty unique item called "Das Boot" which is a pretty large boot that cost $40 and comes with a fill up at time of purchase and 20% off on future fill ups-though not sure what the original cost of a fill up is exactly. One massive upgrade I've learned in the pinball world is nowadays you can download an app by Stern Inc,the majority manufacturer of most of the popular pinball machines and you can register your pinball play and it will keep tabs of everywhere u play and all the scores u achieved on the various pinball machines-I really enjoyed this feature-I only wish they had this when I was in my prime of pinball play when I was a youth. This discount was amazing, because it allowed me to play games even longer than visiting on any other day. They recently included Sundays for this deal as well. I enjoyed a plethora of games without any issues with the machines. I played Top Gun Maverick, Pac Man Skee-Ball, Air Hockey, Super Bikes 3, Tailgate Toss, Connect 4 Hoops, Monopoly, John Wick Continental Pursuit (overall favorite arcade game), and so much more. My entertainment needs were truly fulfilled. After many rounds of arcade games, I finally went to the WIN! store. For the prize selection, I got a purple iridescent D&B shot glass (1.5oz) and a small bag of Albanese Gummi Bears. I have nearly 5k tickets on my card leftover. My goal is to save the tickets as much as possible to cash in for a better prize. Lastly, I visited the bar area. I ordered a Strawberry Daiquiri. The bartender, Ben, made it with perfection. Unfortunately, the AC was not working, which in addition to the josefina of the 4D seats, was unbearable for my wife. She told assistant Scott that this was too much for her. Scott took it upon himself to discuss the matter with the lead manager and we were promptly seated in the private theater and given popcorn for the remainder of the movie. After the private screening, we were then asked to go to the cashier where we were promptly compensated for the payment of the 4D movie. Scott had gone way above grace to ensure that my wife and I had a great experience at Cinema West Palladio. The rest of the staff was just as kind and engaging. Scott was so humble in his approach with us and very eager to make this an enjoyable visit. We have told of this encounter to multiple people and wanted to share our experience. The 4DX theater needs room for improvement. I've been going…read moreto this 4DX theater for quite a while. I saw Spider-Man, The Odyssey, The Fast and the Furious, and recently Resident Evil. There are some things I have to point out: 1. The scent: pretty much it isn't working. No matter how hard I smelled, it had no difference. Not sure if it's due to empty cartridges, nozzle blockage, or if it's just me. I know it not extreme as advertised, but I know for sure something's not right 2. Not all seats spray. I have been paying close attention to the seats. I noticed some back of the seats have nozzles to spray water. Many, or if not some seats, are not spraying at the same time, as it's supposed to be. The rain and weather effects work fine except the very back and the very front. 3. A majority of the seats are missing the Tingler. If you don't know what that is, it is a 4DX feature that has a little tube that whips between your legs. A lot of them are missing from the seats. 4. Smoke and strobe. Compared to all 4DX showtimes I've been to, only the right side of the strobe and smoke effect is working. I know it's not supposed to be part of the movie because it happens every time. in fact, I know this because when the movie starts, a sudden flash happens for a glimpse second and it's at the right side only. Although the moving seats and vibrations works perfectly, I still feel like I'm getting half the 4DX experience. If they had someone to fix all the effects or maybe do a diagnostic before the movie, I would gladly appreciate it, because I want the full 4DX experience and this is the closest one I can come. I can't wait til they fix it someday. A decent theater from the beginning to the end. Friendly employees and clean bathrooms.
