We reserved the 18 passenger shuttle-bus for our wedding party to get to and from the church and I am so glad we did! Ralph arrived at the hotel to pick up the groom and his groomsmen right at 1 pm as promised. He took the guys to the church and then looped back around to pick up the bridesmaids and flower girls. Ralph made sure to get everyone to the church on time and did so with a smile. I think he was happy to see and help all of us! Once the ceremony was over he took us to a few spots for pictures. The guys and gals all piled into the shuttle-bus and we had our cooler filled with drinks. He helped us get our music connected and we were on our way! We made it around campus for photos, to city garden and then back to the arch! With all the construction it was difficult to get exactly where we wanted to go, but he did his best. Since we only had the shuttle-bus reserved until 6 we actually had him drop us off a little early since we needed to walk to get pictures elsewhere. It was a good experience and we enjoyed him a lot. Thanks for the champagne; we all enjoyed it! My dad also reserved a sedan through Fun Tyme to get my parents and me to the church. I do not remember the driver's name, but he was pleasant too. I remember how he helped me get into the car and he made sure that my parents were safely inside as well. He drove us to the church and was having a convo with my dad the entire time! He was so friendly! There was a bottle of champagne for us which we took with us to drink later. I am glad we used Fun Tyme for our transportation. They were all very easy to talk to and work with. I rented from Platinum Transportation STL also FunTyme limo because they were bought out. Somehow my review went to another company not affiliated with them, I paid almost $1800 for a party bus one of the best ones they had, that's not what we got at all! It was terrible, you could see through the back window when using the restroom, no TV, we were told we got an upgrade which we didn't we got a downgrade! Then we found out the bus I paid for was broken or given to someone else, then I paid for the extra time we had it, they thought it was a tip on top of the tip given. It was the worst service we have ever had, when the owners were in Imperial and we rented we had great service, driver and that's why we rented again in less than a year. I will never recommend Platinum Transportation or Fun Tyme again. Also the owner Brad offered me a $50 refund which is a complete smack in the face! Yes we took coolers and Jell-O shots but the driver was fine with it and we even cleaned the entire bus before the departure after drop off as we always do. Worst limo service ever. We had a limo from 10-2am and the limo driver acted bothered at everything we wanted to do. He was rude, not accommodating, and smoked cigarettes at every single stop we made. He drive fast and static and made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Take your business elsewhere. The owner of this company is the type of person to cut corners, and doesn't follow through on his word. I live in Soulard and my car was hit by a Funtyme limo. The driver was kind enough to leave a note, admit responsibility (an unfortunate accident, but something that happens). When I first called the owner he admitted responsibility and promised to fix my car. I got a quote, sent it, but sense have not been able to get him on the phone. He has avoided calls, never returned any messages and is clearly avoiding paying for the damages (been months and many calls/emails). In my calls to his company, I think his employees are embarrassed of his actions and many times have been seriously surprised he has not made restitution. If this guy is willing to sneak his way out of a couple hundred dollars...who knows what else he is willing to do. I recently booked a party bus for a holiday function. I called several limo/bus companies, and found that Fun Tyme's rates were pretty in line relative to the other providers. The booking representative that worked with me (Crystal) was very helpful in explaining the features of the different busses in the fleet and answering my many questions. We ended up settling on the FTL35 Ultimate Bus, which arrived looking exactly as awesome as it did online. The bus and lavatory were clean and the drinks were well-stocked. Sean was our driver for our wedding party photo session. He was very professional throughout the few hours we utilized his driving services. He made sure to offer everyone the beverage amenities and made clear the available options we had at our fingertips (i.e. climate controls, music controls, etc). He spoke in a very professional manner and drove the same. He never had to ask any of the wedding party for directions and also made smart decisions for parking allowing our wedding party easy access in and out of the limo. Won't ever use this company again. Talk about a terrible experience. Have had many limo buses in the past and this was the worst. Normally, a bus will show up 15 min early for prepping and loading. I was given a call 10 min before we were scheduled to depart letting me know they were on their way. This set us behind for the rest of the night. We made an announcement at the first bar that we would be departing at 9PM to go elsewhere. For some reason, this was interpreted into 9:15 by the bus driver and her passenger (who was also riding along with us). After sitting outside for 20 minutes waiting on them, we finally called them to come for a pickup. They claimed they were outside at "9:16" however the 30 people standing out front missed them? On the way back, I tried to provide some constructive criticism and was going to leave it at that. Then, the driver's friend started arguing with me and it ended with me walking away fuming. They dropped everyone off and took off while people were unloading their items leaving purses, jackets, bags, and coolers all on the bus still. So now, we get to go pick up everything the next day. I hired Fun Tyme for my daughter's wedding party. We booked them for the time between the wedding and the reception. It was a very large wedding party so we used the 40 passenger coach. They were amazing! My daughter and the other members of the wedding party have been in at least 8 weddings in the last 2 years. They all arrived at the reception and were raving about the bus and most importantly, Lynn, their driver. They said she was the most amazing driver they had ever had. BRIDES STAY AWAY!! If I could reach out to one person then I will feel better. This company does not care at all about their customers or customer service. I was getting off the bus for a breath of fresh air and I looked right at the driver and said Im going out here dont leave me, minutes later he drove away. The bus driver left me in the middle of forest park at night in December with no purse no phone, nothing. My husband told them they left me back there and they didnt belive him and did not turn around and come get me. The zoo park ranger picked me up to get me out of the cold and use his phone, even after I called the driver would still not come get me. I had to walk down to Pats Tavern and call a cab to pick me up. The bus driver never came and got me and never bothered to belive my husband he told my husband that he didn't beleive him cause he never left any one before. Well he left me and could care less. I wasnt really that upset at first I called the company TWICE and have left a message on an machine and with a person and STILL no one has called me back all I wanted was an apology I was more sad then anything cause my whole night was runied, but they havent even offered that its been a month and still no word. They got their money and thats all they care about. I hate to write a bad review I have never written a bad review before but I feel people should know this, if they would have returned my phone call I would have forgotten the whole thing but now I upset. read more
