We've used John and his drivers for years and it's hands down one of the best car services. We have regular trips to LA, Chicago, DC, etc., and Express out performs cars we use anywhere else. John and his team are on-time, courtesy, and the cars are in tip top shape. We use them for social events here and nights on the town as well and have the same experiences. For airport drop off, it cost a bit more than an Uber or whatever, but the benefits far outweigh the cost. We used to leave the cars there and park/ride for some trips, but the benefit of having curb to curb service is worth it - especially when traveling with little ones. read more

The Hilton airport at the hotel called these guys. See my review of them for more... Overall, this was just a sketchy, sketchy ride. First of all, we're told to look for the unmarked car out front. Umm - so you mean, 90% of the cars out there? Anyways, we eventually find the guy. Nice car, clean. He knows the address of where we're going (as we had called it in), but doesn't have a clue where it is or how to get there. I tell him the neighborhood, and he still doesn't have a clue how to get there. I whip out my Droid (smartphone) and give him directions. He seems to understand. Or does he? He then tells me that it'll be faster to take some off-highway route. Before we make it off the highway he whips out his iPad (people actually use these things? I thought you just bought them to look trendy) and browses some foreign language news website for a while. While going 60 MPH on I-70. Then he looks up directions. After I gave him directions. Not surprisingly, he is swerving the entire time. Drifting in and out of the lane. I want to reiterate this once more, in case you skipped past it. He was browsing a news website while driving on the highway at 60 MPH. With two passengers. So we end up going through about the sketchiest part of St Louis (which our *driver* describes as the ghetto and as the part of St Louis that the city has chosen to ignore), instead of taking the highway. Note that this is the route that he wanted to take, which goes against what Google suggests. (going against Google is a form of blasphemy in my book) We eventually make it to our destination, bill is $40. Note that there was no meter - he pulled this number out of thin air. He complains about us paying by credit card (after we specifically called for a credit card friendly cab), but accepts it and acts like he's doing us a favor. The ride back, with a normal cab, taking the proper route, was cheaper, faster, and without swerving. This guy sucks. Though he was nice. So he's got that going for him. read more
