Terrible experience with booking and the times the promised. Dispatch hung up on me several times when we had problems with transportation during the night of the reservation. We ended up ending the trip early because of bad reservations and booking. We were willing to spend as much money as possible to have a good night. Even with that in mind they fell way short of expectations. A terrible experience that makes me want to sue. We originally booked from 8 to midnight and were supposed to be charged for any hours over. They ended our trip at midnight and threatened to throw the things out if we didn't get them by 1. Horrible company. If you want some terrible limo service that will drop you off at the prom then book here. If you want real service and class go somewhere worth spending your money. Update: I can post my credit card charge. I told them I wanted limo for the night. Their response is an attempt to deflect blame. I still have the charges on my card. We used BEST Transportation for our wedding and were quite happy with them. They were a little more expensive than a few other places in town, but I was willing to pay more for the fact that they have their own mechanics and crew on site. After sitting in a sweltering wedding party bus with broken AC just about a month ago, I'm even more appreciative that we took this precaution for our own wedding a year ago. We booked a package with a limo to get the girls to the church, big ole party bus for pictures and getting to the reception for the entire wedding party, and a towncar for get away or honeymoon airport transport (we used it for the latter). We had no problems at all. The vehicles were clean and functioning properly (including the air). The drivers were prompt, professional, and courteous. We'd use them again in a heart beat. The office staff were, for the most part, easy to work with. We did have a couple moments when I called trying to clear things up, ask questions, etc. and the guy we worked with was out. The other woman in the office didn't know the details of our agreement, so we'd have to wait for the other guy to get in. We did always get a phone call back; it was more of an annoyance. I would suggest to them that anyone that handles accounts keeps good notes, so that anyone can pick up a contract and answer customer questions when they aren't in. read more

I have known multiple people now that have used these guys for their wedding transportation, both for weddings I have helped to plan and weddings I was simply at for the open bar, and I have to say, these guys are fantastic. Every time I have contacted these guys, they are so receptive. They give fair quotes, they stick with their quotes, and they will usually throw in a free drive away car or other bonus freebie. I think that's especially nice and clearly not something they have to do. They have never lost an appointment, they are never annoyed by my obsessive phone calling to check and make sure everything is still set up, and they actually seem understanding of why I am such a compulsive nut when it comes to other people's weddings. Their prices are the same or even less than most of the places around town and they are reliable. I have never been a member of a bridal party waiting in the rain for these guys to show up. I think words speak best if they come from others, however, on a recent trip (towards the beginning of May) to St Louis based off of a meetup with a group of people from the wikiHow website, the company hired these fine folks to transport us from the Moonrise Hotel to the Four Seasons Resort (so we could catch the St Louis Fun Tour) and back from the Gateway Arch back to the Moonrise Hotel later on, and although a few of us were complaining of really poor rides (bumpiness of the ride) towards the back of the bus, I ended up sitting near the front of the bus (about the second row back over near the window on the passenger side of the bus) and didn't get that same reaction. I was a little embarrassed that people were having bad reactions and felt just awkward overall, but I didn't see much problem with the ride to and from where we were going to where we wanted to go. We got to each place safely in the allotted time on roads that might have seemed like the best choice given the conditions of the roads in St Louis at the time and the hour of day we were spending on them. Seats in the 20+seated van, from my vantage point, didn't look too bad - outside of a few tiny stains with no real rips on the cloth anywhere. (I can't say how much the group spent, as I don't know - it was pre-paid by the group to transport us both ways), Thanks for getting me to wherever they wanted us to go in the safest manner possible - I really did appreciate the shuttle-service. read more

We have had two opportunities to use BEST Transportation for our needs in 2017. The first occasion was in February for my Mom's funeral. We ordered a 24 passenger mini coach - this vehicle was perfect for family and a few close friends, to ride together after the service to the cemetery, and back to the church again. At a time of mourning, this was a perfect vehicle for us. Our chauffeur was so thoughtful and respectful throughout the day and the vehicle was just immaculate. The second time we used BEST was for our son's Homecoming. We rented a SUV to drive our son and two high school friends to dinner, the dance and around a few other locations. We had such a great peace of mind knowing these kids would have SAFE transportation for their special evening. We just used Best Transportation for our wedding at the end of March, 2011. Everything was great until the end of the night when we, the BRIDE and GROOM and WEDDING PARTY, got left at the reception. We had to call the dispatch company (1215am) to find out what happened to our ride back to the hotel and they told us that someone on the last bus ride (1150pm) had puked on the steps. The bus driver just drove back to the dispatch and no one called to contact me, the bride, or my wedding coordinator to tell us. When we called the dispatch they told us we had to either pay for another whole bus trip out to get us or we needed to find a cab to get home. They should have called when the passenger puked and notified us that we needed to find other means of transportation but we got no heads up. Our reception ended at 11pm and we didn't get back to the hotel until 2am!!!! And the only reason we made it back to the hotel was that the Marriott manager got out of bed at 1am and came and got us in the Marriott shuttle! Moreover, they made no real effort to rectify the situation afterwards. Horrible customer service and they ruined the end of our wedding night. I would absolutely NEVER use them again for anything nor would I recommend them to anyone!!!!!!!!! read more

He helped all the bridesmaids into and out of the bus, helped carry the box of bouquets and kept an eye on our things when we were taking pictures in the park - I really consider that going above and beyond. This was the first time I've used the services of BEST TRANSPORT of St. Louis and I must say it was the BEST service I've had regarding riding to and from any airport, even in Chicago! The drivers were extremely courteous and upon my return flight the driver named Greg took my overweight baggage off the conveyor belt for me and took it to his car. He did walk a little faster than I was able and I had a difficult time keeping up, however there wasn't any traffic, thankfully, so I didn't lose sight of Greg. On my ride to the airport a nice man name Ivory picked me up and he too was kind and he wished me a safe trip. Both drivers opened and closed the door for me upon my entrance and exiting of the car and they both helped me with my luggage, however Greg brought my suitcases up to the front door and asked if I would like them placed inside my doorway in which I replied, "Yes, that would be nice." He obliged all with a smile upon his face. He could tell I was exhausted. I was so pleased. The company knows how to treat their customers well and their employees are a reflection of the proprietors of the business. Should I ever need transportation to and from the airport again or for any special reason, I will not hesitate to use Best Transport's services again. I've never been so pleased, ever. Do NOT book Best Transportation for your wedding party and/or guests they were terrible! We booked a 35 person bus for the wedding party and guests and the a/c was broken. It was miserable! The driver said it was broken so we spent the entire time trying to get a replacement bus sent. The bride and bridesmaids hair was completely ruined as well as our pictures. The flowers all died 20 minutes into the ride and we has 2 pregnant guests almost go into labor. We asked the company to compensate for our awful experience and they did nothing. They refused to give us back one penny of our payment. They did not care that the wedding day was nearly ruined because of this experience. What an awful memory to have.
