When I went to Triumph Santa Monica I had already been negotiating and put a deposit on a motorcycle at another dealership. However, I saw a bike on their website that interested me. I drove over 90 miles to get there, and even though the other dealership was much closer to my home, I'm really glad I did!! As soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly and with exceptional customer service by Ross. I approached him and explained what I was looking for. Ross was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He allowed me to test ride the motorcycle I was interested in before I purchased it. This is a service the other dealership and quite frankly most other dealerships refuse, but this was a huge selling point for me!! It stands out as one of the many little things that this dealership does so well, to go the extra mile, to exceed their customer's expectations, and to make the customer's purchasing experience, my experience, a true pleasure!! I had never ridden a Triumph motorcycle before and was contemplating making this significant purchase without this first hand knowledge. The crew here went above and beyond to make sure that didn't happen and to make every part of my motorcycle purchasing experience by far the best I've ever had... So much so that I am here now, writing this review to recommend Santa Monica Triumph to everyone!!! Remi, like Ross, was a pleasure to work with. There was no pressure, no haggling, just straightforward professionalism, courtesy, and a deal that was fair and easy. Live right down the street from them and offered to pay their mechanic a couple hundred dollars to come over after work to put it on and owner Amil said no, he would send his guys over with a truck and pick it up. She was responsive and helpful the entire process, never once felt upsale pressure which is normal from Car Dealers. I asked for the same from Ken an Joes in Santa Clarita and they massively increased their asking price, obviously trying to take advantage of ignorant buyers. However, Karen never once attempted to increase the sale price, instead did all she could to lower the price, gaining a very happy buyer. The finance process was quick. In and out in 1 hour. All I can say was amazing customer service from Karen Rickman.

1-Star Review I…read morebought a 2015 Harley-Davidson FXDB Street Bob at the beginning of summer and brought it to Ken & Joe's Motorcycle Shop because I wanted to make sure the bike was properly serviced and inspected and there was a battery issue. I paid around $1,500 for a three-hole service, inspection, and a new tire. The shop had my bike for approximately 2 1/2 weeks, and I was told most of the delay was because they were waiting for my tire. About a week after getting the bike back, my clutch cable broke. I contacted the shop and was told that it wasn't something they could have predicted during the inspection. I understand that unexpected parts can fail, but I ended up bringing the bike back and waiting another three weeks for the clutch cable to be replaced, which cost me another $490. I finally got my bike back last week. After only three days of riding, the bike completely shut off while I was riding and now has another issue that needs to be diagnosed. I'm not saying Ken & Joe's caused these problems. It's an older motorcycle, and mechanical issues can happen. However, after spending nearly $2,000 with this shop and having the bike there for more than five weeks combined, it's extremely frustrating to continue having problem after problem--especially after paying for an inspection and service. I bought this bike at the beginning of summer specifically so I could enjoy riding it. Instead, between the time spent in the shop and the mechanical problems, I've only been able to ride it for about three weeks this entire summer. Based on my experience, I personally would not recommend this shop. From this point forward, I'll be taking my bike directly to a Harley-Davidson dealership for service and repairs.

After recently selling my 2019 KTM 500 EXC, I was looking for a new street-legal dirt bike and decided on a 2026 Beta 390 RS Special Edition. I'll start by saying that in the past, I had never purchased a motorcycle from Ken & Joe's Powersports because their pricing was typically higher than competing dealers. This time around, however, they came extremely close to the best price match I could find on the Beta. Since K&J is also my local Santa Clarita powersports dealer, I decided to give them my business and an opportunity to earn my future Parts and Service business as well. Sales: The purchase process was extremely quick and straightforward. There was zero pressure and no unnecessary upselling, which I really appreciated. Everything was handled quickly and to the point. The sales staff could probably be a little more personable or talkative, but that is a very minor observation and certainly nothing negative about the transaction. Most importantly, they stayed more than an hour after closing to finish my purchase, which I greatly appreciated. Parts: My experience with the Parts Department has been excellent. The woman working Parts is incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely a pleasure to talk with every time I visit. Communication has also been top-notch. Whenever I have ordered parts, they have kept me updated and contacted me promptly when everything arrived. I did have one issue when a non-Parts employee answered the phone and told me an exhaust would be ordered for me. Several days later, I happened to discover that it was never ordered, and nobody had contacted me to let me know there was an issue. I was also told they couldn't get the exhaust, which ultimately turned out not to be the case because I was able to have it shipped directly to me through Beta. That was frustrating, but it appears to have been an isolated communication issue rather than representative of my overall experience with their Parts Department. Service: Service has also been outstanding. They have been quick, straightforward, and reasonably priced. Most importantly, they have gotten the work completed without unnecessarily holding onto my motorcycles. That's something I really value because I don't want a bike sitting at a dealership for days when the work can be completed much sooner. Overall, I have been very pleased with Ken & Joe's Powersports. Between purchasing the Beta, ordering parts, and having service performed, they have earned my business. As long as they continue to remain competitive with their pricing and maintain this level of Parts and Service support, I will continue to be a K&J customer.

My motorcycle had gone into limp mode and would not run or move. I made an appointment with this…read moredealership and then went through the hassle of finding a tow truck to bring it here. When I arrived, a very rude employee -- whether he was the service manager or not, I couldn't tell -- refused to accept the motorcycle for service despite the appointment they had already given me. His reason was that he did not want to work on the motorcycle because it had previously been repaired by someone else. All they had to do was connect the bike to a diagnostic computer and check what was causing the problem. Instead, they treated us as if we were being thrown out of the service department and made us feel completely unwelcome. I genuinely cannot understand the logic behind this. If a motorcycle has ever been worked on by another mechanic, this dealership refuses to even look at it? What kind of reasoning is that? How does that make any sense?
