In town for a wedding and knew I had to come a day early so I could go here. I'm sad because I wanted to order everything but could only order a few things. I decided to go with one of my favorites, gyoza and spicy garlic basil fried rice. Literally wanted ramen and rice but maybe I'll come back next month for the ramen ;( Literally the service is still excellent. Restaurant is always clean! They are all always so nice and friendly and fast! Food was a 10/10 literally. Just as good as always. I truly wish I could take this place back to Dallas with me. The gyoza was delicious and perfectly crisp! The fried rice was so flavorful. Plenty meat and a hint of spice! I can literally not find ANY place in Dallas that has rice this good or ramen this good and I've tried several! Shoutout to Ichiban for making my quick Amarillo visit worth it ! Can't wait to come back again. I do wish they were open on the weekends of course so I could go again while I'm here but maybe just maybe one day they'll change their hours to at least half a day Saturday ;)

Literally like 99.9% fried dough. That was a turn off. Friendly service from carry out. The manager or owner came out and made it a point to talk to me because I'm from out of state. Maybe he was genuine and maybe he wasn't. But at least he made it a point to be nice and asked for me to come again. Above all. I'll have to really consider coming back though. Like I said... It was a huge turn off with those wontons. Since those are a must have every time I go to a restaurant such as taste of Thai. The good thing I enjoyed definitely was the open space and layout. It isn't cramped and clustered and a mess like Thai diamond.

As for the fish, the batter was soft and doughy (tempura style), like grabbing fish Twinkies. Very off putting "I made it very clear to the bar keep, the fish was very disappointing" to the point I only ate the corners of two pieces of fish. Fries were also soggy :( There shrimp were placed onto of the fish so maybe they didn't sit steaming as long; getting soggy? Shrimp were edible thankfully. Bananas Foster was alright, not remarkable but fair, I did ask for the mint to freshen the dish up a bit. All in All wasn't worth the $85 tab at all.

Today for lunch I got to see a live Chinese version of Jerry Springer. One of the male staff members was rentlensly harrassing my waitress. Screaming, yelling, gestures, and chasing her around the store. It was a horrible experience. It's a great restraunt if you want to experience a asian ghetto. read more
