R10. Chicken Fun Ramen
Jet A.

Cute interior. Service was quick and polite. We tried the chicken fun ramen which the broth was very flavorful but slightly too salty for my taste. The chicken breast was seasoned and the noodles were chewy good texture. The soup dumplings were meh imo. The dumpling itself was really thick. The bao also was just ok. 5 stars for the service but the food was just ok.

The food and service here were both terrific! We really enjoyed the free peanuts served before our meal even arrived. We also had some scrumptious pork steamed dumplings. We brought home leftovers and enjoyed them for another fantastic meal. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is always fantastic and pretty consistent. It does take a bit of time to get your food depending on what you order but you get to see the people making food! The wait staff is always so polite and helpful!!

My 4 year olds cup with a lid... because he is busy and 4, they were able to accommodate, very cute!

The food was amazing, our waitress was very helpful and made sure the check with us about drinks. She also had great suggestions for kids food. Check with us genuinely about the food. We had two appetizers and food for 2 adults, a teenager and two kids. Without tip it was just under $100. We would come here again! Wish I took more photos of food but we were really hungry. Kids had fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Myself and teen had ramen and my spouse had chow mein with pork. His appetizer that everyone shared was pot stickers. (Not all the family likes sushi lol)

I was in town for some business and decided to give this place a try. FOOD: I ordered the hand cut thick noodle bowl and it did not disappoint. The noodles were hardy s& broth flavorful. Baby bok choy and bamboo shoots with cilantro. Added some siracha and it was perfect. ATMOSPHERE: The plan was super clean and well arranged. SERVICE: Tom was my waiter and very attentive and nice! TIP: They provide you a bowl of warm, salted peanuts when you sit down, which was delicious; however, this could be life-threatening for those with allergies. Might be prudent of the restaurant to ask before bringing out.

GREAT RAMEN! We were visiting town and wished this place was closer to home. Hell Ramen really good!

Went to lunch with a friend and we started off with edamame & octopus balls which were really good. We Wished the edamame had more salt so we used the salted nuts on the table. Asked for garlic chili sauce for them but it never came until our rolls came out and another server Brought the sauces that were available. Spider roll was huge and filling and the dynamite roll was literally on fire which she enjoyed lol. It was nice to finally have a place For sushi on a Monday as all the other sushi options were closed today. Service was quick, food was delicious & hit the spot & the Ambiance was casual

Ok. So let me say first that the food was delicious. And I'm leaving 5 stars because of the taste and because of the level of effort clearly put in to this dish. However, let me also say. I don't need this level of presentation with my to go orders. Lol I did get made fun of at work when i opened my lunch. Hahaha. It was a little much. A styrofoam box with more fried rice would have been better.

Excuse the half eaten crunch roll. Just wanted to show off the cute plate.

So good we ate here twice in one weekend trip. Pros: Husband says these are the best soup dumplings he's ever had. Perfect balance of flavors and very little little ginger (we both hate ginger). The wrapper was perfect and didn't fall apart when the dumplings were picked up. Calamari tender. Crunch sushi roll and Sesame seed balls good. Plenty of parking. Accepts credit cards. Service was good Friday night. Cons: Husband was disappointed they stopped serving shui mai. We didn't like the noddles with the beef sauce. Disappointing since we had such fun watching them pull the noodles. Service was not good Sunday afternoon.

Good service, I was teaching my coworker how to use chopsticks and the server brought these chopstick assist stuff to use. Very considerate and made us laugh. Also appreciated how they draw on your plate when you order their sushi. Food is a lot for price which is great! Their soup dumplings are decent but their bao is basically soup dumpling just folded a bit different. I wouldn't really call it bao. But delish. I was excited that they had sesame balls they were fresh and bite size. Good dining experience and has a lot to offer. George gives it a chomp chomp out of three chomps.

R8. Pork ribs noodles. Good flavor $11.

Today was the first day open so I don't know where the other reviewer got the idea that they were open yesterday. Plus he lives in San Francisco so I don't understand how he could have been an actual customer of the establishment from that far away. I decided to try them out on the first day even though I knew the lines would be long. I got there about 6:00 and there was about an hour wait. For me it was a little longer because there was enough talking and noise going on that I didn't hear my phone ring when they let me know it was my turn. So I think about 10 minutes went by before I noticed I had an unknown number call and walked up to the desk to see if it was them. It was. I was just sitting 10 ft away in the little alcove where you first walk in but nobody ever looked around or called my name. Service was quick and cheerful. All the workers were on the run the whole time I was in there, busy busy busy. I ordered an appetizer and soup. The soup came before the appetizer. The soup had great flavor and good noodles. I had enough to bring home a little bit of leftovers. I got the pork ribs version. There was quite a bit of meat on it. Not as tender as it might have been but the third rib was especially good. The calamari had good flavor but weren't as crisp as they might have been. They even looked a little wilted on the plate when they brought them. I suspect they don't use a good quality oil but they still tasted good. I saw other things on the menu that looked interesting so I will definitely be back. Edit: The leftovers were quite good even without warming them up but I noticed on the last two calamari that I brought home that the breading tasted like donuts. Kind of an odd flavor combination to go with something savory. Not that I don't like savory and sweet flavors but calamari fried in donut batter wasn't as good cold as it was warm. I'd still get them again though.

Many vegan options with true vegetables as the vegan "meat replacement" vs a faux meat product…read more(although if you're into that they do offer an impossible option). I had the imposter with breaded mushrooms. Super crispy Cremini mushrooms with great crunch but the rest was kinda meh, romaine and drizzle of sauce and balsamic. At least with the pickled onions there was a little palate tease. Also tried the Al pastor with jackfruit. Opted for this version on a salad and it's a whopping serving size. Hearty serving of jackfruit with plenty of sauce and dressing. Had nice little nibs of some crunch too. Service was super, super nice. I'd call the inside dive-ish. Totally relaxed and chill ambiance. I'll be back to try more items! My one dislike was that I don't care for the balsamic drizzle on either dish... just doesn't pair well with these flavors. Side of pineapple was yummy to balance the heaviness of both dishes.

For lunch during one of my days visiting Amarillo, I tried Yellow City Street Food off Wolflin. Inside, the space is cute. They have yellow chairs, pink walls, and cool artwork scattered throughout. When we ordered, the server was very helpful with recommendations and helped us land on what we ultimately chose. They also have a chef's daily special that rotates every day, and you never really know what he could be cooking up. The day we went, the special was Pad Kee Mao, which my girlfriend ordered with their fried tofu. As for me, I got their tacos. The first was their Hulk with jerk chicken, cotija, pineapple, and more, and the second was their Al Pastor with pork, crema, chile rojo, and more. Both came out looking fantastic and were absolutely crushed by me. One thing I noticed on their menu is their vast selection of vegan options. Most meat options usually have a vegan alternative with a specific replacement for the meat. For the Hulk, it's chickn soy curls, and for the Al Pastor, they use jackfruit. It's super innovative and very welcoming to vegan and vegetarian diners. I really like this approach instead of throwing the same meat substitute on everything. Knowing what works best with each dish can really make or break it. We also ordered a side of their Salt and Pepper Fries to share, which were well cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I enjoyed the pepper seasoning on these quite a bit. To drink, we tried their blueberry pomegranate tea, which was delicious. I really liked my food here and, of all the places I tried in Amarillo, I would say this is definitely one of the best. It's unique without overdoing it, and you'll leave with a good meal in your stomach if you give them a shot. RIYL: Tacos, burgers, or honestly just about anything. They've got it all here.
