This is my second time coming here. Came here on a Sunday. I asked about becoming a VIP member to save on tokens, but the catch was spending $100 or more. Got me there, so I got it! My purpose was to play the big claw machines, as I wanted the Big Labubu. You can trade 2 big plushies with one that was hanging on wall in the claw machine. Worker was super helpful and friendly. He decided to move the big plushies around to help me out a little. I was successful.. after so many tries lol. I had so much fun! No more tokens, everything is electronic on play cards. These can be purchased at the desk. Lots of machines to reload new or old cards. This location was clean, secure, and fairly empty on a week day night. More fun for you and your party! Wide variety of games. All were functioning and fair. This is the best Fun Factory on the island, the facility is nicer and they have better customer service then all other branches (especially Mililani). Though this location is far from me, I always make the trip to hang out at this location. Especially for some fun time you cannot beat 50% off on Tuesdays. However, the real reason I come here is for the great customer service. Today I found that I misplaced my Gold Card that I had gotten at the Mililani location. I tried to get assistance from them but they basically told me oh well you didn't register the card. I did feel upset because even though it was my fault I lost the card they didn't tell me my card was not registered when they upgraded me to Gold. I registered my original card previously and at the time they told me I didn't have to do anything when I got the gold card. So I figured the registration carried over. Silly me I know, I was naive. Fast forward I decided to get assistance from the Kalihi location. They were able to help me, I was able to get my card back, and they provided me with the warmth and kindness that is lacking at Mililani. They made me feel better about the situation, so much I decided to stay and play and had a great time with my dad. Thank you Kalihi Fun Factory! If Management ever reads this review, please commend the two fantastic ladies who worked today during thanksgiving at 1400. Whenever I come in they always welcome me and with a smile. This particular FF location does not have much by way of video arcade games, but my 3 year old boys still had a lot of fun with the rides and video driving games. We came here to celebrate a birthday. As part of the party package, each person gets a swipe card that entitles you to unlimited play on video games, rides, and 20 plays for the games that gives you tickets (i.e. skeeball, basketball, claw games) for 90 minutes. For adults, it may get kinda boring, but it's great for the kids. The cost for the host is $15 per person, and there is a 10 person minimum. The best thing about this location is that they have a seating area for parties, equipped with lined picnic-style benches and tables. I brought my son here since we haven't set foot in an arcade since pre-COVID. I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't very many people and there was the ability to spread out as this seems like a bigger location. One star taken off as the claw machines seem rigged. You can pick the item up perfectly and it holds on to the item until you start moving to the side then all of a sudden it loses its grip and drops the item. Totally rigged claw games! Son loved the games so it was a great way to burn off some energy and have fun together. The ticket redemption prizes were also pretty reasonable. read more

There were 3 workers that night. 1 actually did his job, one was hanging out in their office and the other was playing games and giving free tokens or games to all his buddies on the race car games!! Probably one of the cleaner FF on island. It was pretty empty, despite going there on a weekend. There was just one staff, but he was able to assist everyone and he was friendly. Although there were not as many games as the windward mall FF, it was more spacious and entertaining than the Kahala Mall location. Parking was a little hectic- the lot was pretty crowded, being in a shopping center with relatively high turn over...but we still found a stall quickly and near the entrance. The fun factory here is pretty small. Well, very small. Not well cleaned also. The staff weren't too attentive as they seemed more interested in their sell phones. Most of the games here weren't in English either, so my daughter wasn't able to understand or get the full enjoyment. Majority of the games were for boys. Also, they use card for most of the games instead of tokens. Like seriously, I still like the idea of tokens. Great place for kids mostly now that all quarter machines are taken out. Still can have fun if you like racing games, tekken, beatmania, claw games, and/or push games. All games require a game card you can load points on at the front counter. There's always an employee there so you don't have to wait long to load up your card. All the employees are friendly. Sometimes it gets hot when the AC isn't working. But now that there's a lot less machines in there, it's a lot cooler. Most of the games cost a 4.0 credits which is equivalent to $1. What a bummer...I love taking my 3 (almost 4 year old) to Fun Factory when I am able to pick him up a little earlier from school but it's going to be hard to go back. I've spent hundreds of dollars in the last few months getting multiple VIP cards and then finally finding them all and just reloading the 1 card. That being said I'm going to slowly use up my last reload and be done with Fun Factory all together. I can find another activity to do with my son. We recently went to Dave and Busters to test it out. We walked into Fun Factory and my son ran up to his favorite game. We swiped the car as usual but there was already a ball sitting in the lever so my son pulled it and WON the big jackpot! He was excited because I always told him the hole with the letters JP is the best one and he finally got it. We took pictures and a video of him standing at the machine but I also was concerned because I wanted to make sure we got credit for the game. I spoke to the worker and she checked the system but it wasn't in yet. We walked away while it was still counting and put our card through another game. As soon as we did that...potty crisis...so we went to McDonald's and came back. I asked again and when we checked there was no credit for the game. I understand that it isn't the employees fault but I was still very very upset. There's wasn't any empathy and when I asked to speak to a manager I was told to call on Thursday Morning. Mind you this was Tuesday afternoon. Rather than speaking with the manager, I figured I'd voice my displeasure this way. I gave it a week to Simmer down and it hasn't gone away. Fun Factory just lost out on literally $1,000's of my money over the next few years because they were unable to work with me to give my son the credits he rightfully deserved. My youngest is almost of age so I'm pretty sure my spending would've doubled. We'll do other things and if games is the choice we can go to Dave & Busters. What a great place to have a party. U get to bring ur own food. If u r the only party u can be there almost all day, they give the birthday girl a present, u get free game play for 90 min (min 10), and over at the Kalihi fun factory they were taking pictures of us and offered a picture cd. The experience I got here was great the staff was excellent and it was way cheaper than chuck e cheese. But I must say that I think the parents had just as much fun playing the games just as much as the kids. Thanks fun factory I will be doing this again. read more
