You know the saying, you don't know what you lost until you have lost it? Well, I felt that way when I went to other clawcades, and I didn't realize the service Clawster provides. I'm not an expert at clawcades, so not sure if this is the norm, but at Clawster, they have a sign on the front of each claw machine saying to ask for assistance, and so when I did ask for assistance, Clawster positioned the item that I was trying to get in the claw machine closer the space where you drop the item to win the prize and I was like "what?!?!" That is so amazing! And to my surprise we actually came out with toys from the claw machines. And what makes the experience so much more fun is when you have a worker like Ci which she worked on the weekends and she made us feel like family. Not sure if Ci still works there, but if you have the pleasure to meet her, she is amazing! Anyways, back to Clawster, if you are into collectibles, Clawster has a very large amount of varieties, for example, when I was in this crazy phase of buying labubu's, I mean, I was on a hunt going to every store in Hawaii and finding random sellers in Hawaii, and Clawster was one of my go-to for labubus. It's not the cheapest, however if you compare to some other local stores, Clawster sold it a little less compare to others, but this was back in June 2025. Sorry this review is way over due. I've frequented this store four times now and having also tried other claw places on the island and a couple in Vegas, this is my favorite. It's a small store but the variety and quality of the plushies and keychains are good. The people who work here are friendly. I've bought some blind boxes here and was lucky enough choose the boxes that contained what I was looking for. Their plushies are cute and I win them as prizes for my students. Their gachapon capsules are reasonable also. As with all claw machines there's luck involved and I'm not gonna get a big haul every time but it balances out. Really disappointed with this arcade. First off, you should know I don't care about gachas, blind boxes, or cards so I only went in to play the crane games. Second, because half the buildings are claw machines and it's call "clawsters," I will be comparing it to other crane game arcades I've been to. Each play is $2 which means $20 only gets you 10 plays or maybe two good gachas. Maybe it's because I'm comparing the prices to the mainland but every crane game arcade I've been to has always been $1 per play. Even the fun claws in Hawaii are $1 except for maybe the ones in D&Bs and Fun Factory. Also, let's not forget those prizes are barely worth $1 so spending $2 to get it and then not getting it on the first try is not worth it. Also DO NOT BE FOOLED. The claws are not easily rigged to help you win. The point of a crane game arcade is to be easy wins so that you can trade up to BIG prizes. If you've never been to one before you should check out @theclawusa in Las Vegas. I spent $40 there, you get extra tokens for spending $40, each play was $1, I reached my goal of 16 plushies and gave the rest of my coins to my friends so they can play. It was worth it! Now I know in Hawaii costs tend to go up but I don't think claw machines should be $2/play when the prizes are not even that good and there's nothing to incentivize you to play more. Lastly, with service. The door was stuck when I tried to open it so I thought it was closed but my husband gave it a push and it opened. There was a worker who saw me struggling and didn't even do anything but stay on their phone. And then, there was no greeting, no hello, and not even asking if it's my first time here (this place is very new btw) so I had to fend for myself. But when a friend came through it was a whole different story with their presence. Never coming back here again, not worth the money, time, area is kinda sketchy, and way better to just go to a real arcade or go to the mainland arcades. read more

I recommend taking advantage of the level up tokens and if they have a promotion for adding money to a card, then just do it if you KNOW you're going to be coming back often! Went with friends and pitched in for the $100 promo where you get a card with about 130 worth of tokens + Choice of Medium Plush! Staff is very friendly and helpful! They even will reposition if you need to try again for the plushy you want or if you see one you want that's not in the claw area you can ask them to move it. I felt welcomed and they were attentive. 02/01/25 Saturday. Shout out to Irene M. For finding this hidden gem. Be prepared to spend your money here. I dropped $20 for 22 tokens. There is a graduated scale for the number of tokens you receive for the amount of $$$ you put into the token machine. Fun for all ages. It gets a bit crowded as more adults and children came into the place. Luckily, I arrived just before the crowd and I was able to take pictures and ask a few questions. Derek was manning Clawster today. He was personable and he was willing to kindly answer my questions. I asked if there were set hours of operation. He answered not yet. They are in the soft opening stage of the business and figuring out the details. No phone number yet to call if they are open. Derek suggested to follow Clawster Instagram ( see picture). Clawster has a variety of claw games for young and old. Prices are 2 to 8 tokens ( not 100% sure as I did not look at every one!) I watched a young child grab quite a bit of prizes from the smaller claw games. I was a humbled as I had just played the same game and lost twice! lol. Overall, a fun place to experience. 4/5 star experience. Bring cash! Even dollar amounts may be fed into token machines! These token machines are hungry for your cash! Clawing my way... You've probably seen some placement of Clawster around various locations in shops filled with cuteness tempting our skill in nabbing them for our own personal achievements that's just so difficult to resist a peek. Well now they have a shop of their own in Moili'ili right in Old Stadium Square in the former Honolulu Hydroponics location. Currently without any signage like a secret club this modest storefront doesn't quite describe what's happening behind the doors with all sorts of vibrant claw machines filled with various plushies as I window shop the possibilities it's not just that that's got my attention but the huge selection of blind boxes and the Gashapon section though being that it's still a blind choice the prices can surely add up as gashapon run from 3 to 8 coins and at $20 you get 22 tokens and of course you receive more at the larger amount you purchase. Many of the plushies are cute some Sanrio and Disney and pretty decent quality though as I do have quite a bit of a collection so my choices have been quite selective but do appreciate having this location as it's fun and very interactive fun for the whole group and if you're quite skilled they do have shopping cart and basked to hold all your items as this foodie nabbed a bear burger with a small side of fries to be proud of and left with a couple blind boxes to keep the collection solid. Me and my friend found out this place when I passed by Lunar Tea on King Street. This store opened by a sweet Chinese couple. There are around 18 clawing machines and some capsule machines. In addition, they have variety of blind boxes near the cashier area. $1 per token. You can exchange the token from the token machine. For the capsule machine, each machine costs around 6 to 10 tokens depends on the character. 2 tokens for the clawing machine. The owner said people can buy a $100 playing card which has $130 values on it plus a free squash toy. (Not sure that's limited promotion or not) Parking might be tight during peak hours. Although claw machine places could be expensive, we had fun at this one. We probably spent $300 between me and my two cousin's, however, won lots of prizes. The cool thing about it was that, we could trade the small plushies into bigger plushies. We got a total of probably 15-20 plushies from the machines and my Daughter changed like 12 of them into a medium sized Stitch. BUT.....if you want to trade up, you must do so before leaving. Once you leave the place, you can't go back in and ask to trade. As for the parking, it could get hard to find because of the other places in the plaza. Was very disappointed about this place. Came to check it out with my friend since we're really into claw machine games. But gotta say for the price you're paying it's not worth it! To get something from the gacha machine it was $10. So each coin is worth $1 and the gacha I used was 10 coins ($10) and was it worth it? No! It's a small little toy and weirdly that me and my friend got the same color which was disappointing. Then we moved to the claw machines. It was weird that the claws are shaking so much and the time limit was very little before the claw goes down. Haven't experienced such a shaky claw machine. Of course we didn't win anything. For the claw machines it's 2 coins ($2) They also have blind boxes for sale. They have pop mart stuff such as hirono, cry baby and some other ones. They don't have Labubu tho. For the price your paying Dave and busters or fun factory is better. At least at those places you can win something very easily since the machine aren't has shaky or rigged as well! We paid in total for 2 people $40 and we only got 2 things which was from the gacha machine. We stopped by fun factory after this spent the same amount and we won a lot more things from the claw machines then this place! I hope they improve in the machine or have it less rigged so more people would come to this place! And not make the gacha machines so god damn expensive as well! read more

What can I say? Expensive, $2 per play on most games. Machines don't really pay out as well. The plastic bag that most claw places in mainland give for free is $3! My daughter played $20 and walked out with a squeeze toy that's prob worth $1. No Trades ups! Everything on the walls are for purchase! What's the incentive to get more prizes from the machines? Staff needs a lesson in customer service and needs to put down the cellphone. Constantly texting is not a good look. Making it so hard to win!! - You can grab something, then it'll drop it abruptly. - $20 only got me 1 cheapy stuffed animal. - There weren't enough selection. Very limited and no popular characters for stuffed animals- at the time. - Didn't get any gachas cause they were so expensive. $20 only gets you 10 tokens. Compared to other claw arcades I went to in Vegas, this place needs a lot of improvements. Everyone should be able to win multiple plushies and get their monies worth. Came to check it out with my friend. When we moved the claw machines the claws were shaking way too much and never picked up the dolls. The cost is 2 coins which is 2$ a play which is double the cost of some of the other places I have been. The staff never greeted us when we came in and ignored us when we were checking things out.
