The team we worked with at Enterprise Car Sales was amazing start to finish. At the Hempstead location we worked with Sonia, Anthony and Herber to help us get the right car for us. We tested out a few cars until we got the perfect one for us. They also were able to work with us to transport a few cars to test that were at their sister Enterprise Car Sales dealerships within the tristate area. Their customer service was exceptional. The manager of the dealership, Melvin, also spoke to us and was very friendly. The one thing that stood out from Enterprise versus other dealerships is the no hidden fees. There was the standard dealership fee and the regular DMV fees. Everything was explained to us clearly and it made the process super easy. If we are to consider to get another used car in the future we will definitely consider returning again.

Their rental SUV broke down; managed to park at Manorville, NY fire station on Manorville Road. It was hot & humid day. Called Enterprise and they took SUV. Was abandoned by Enterprise to fend on my own, for around 2 or 3 hours. Got water from fireman, otherwise would have fainted. Called an Uber, they stood me up, appears Manorville to Riverhead not profitable route. Eventually got a taxi from a nice cabbie, taken to Enterprise Car Rental Riverhead, NY office, where they eventually gave me another smaller rental vehicle, I then filled empty tank and headed toward Mom in Hampton Bays, NY.

More than a year…read morelater, I am STILL trying to get them to resolve a problem that existed when the vehicle was sold to me. Mario was my salesperson, and Jamie was involved on the sales/management side. Shortly after purchasing the car, I discovered the sunroof would not properly open or slide back. I reported it immediately. Mario knew about the issue, as did the service department. I have emails documenting my attempts to get it repaired from the beginning. At the time, Victor handled service. I emailed him repeatedly and brought the car in several times. He kept telling me he needed to order parts and would fix the sunroof. I waited, followed up, and was repeatedly assured it would be handled. Eventually, he stopped responding altogether. He also told me certain maintenance work, including a tire rotation, had been completed. I later learned from the new service representative that some work I had been told was done apparently had not been performed. Victor eventually left the company, and Mike took over. I want to give Mike credit: he actually listened, inspected the car, and made a genuine effort to address my concerns. He worked on the brakes, rotors, tires and other service needs, including arranging additional parts and a return visit. But Mike explained that CAG could not perform the sunroof repair there. Instead, he offered to refer me to a Mercedes-Benz dealership that could do it. Because I reported the defect right after purchase, he said Jamie would need to secure approval for CAG to cover the repair. That is where the runaround continued. On August 18, 2026, while Mike serviced my car, I spoke with Jamie about the authorization. I provided extensive emails showing my prior conversations with Victor. Mario also confirmed that the sunroof problem existed from the beginning. I sat at CAG for HOURS while Jamie said he was waiting for approval from his boss. I left without it. Jamie assured me I would hear from him the following day. I did not. On August 28, I returned so Mike could complete work after additional parts arrived. I had contacted Jamie beforehand because I wanted the sunroof authorization handled during that visit. Jamie was off that day. Mario tried calling him while I was there and explained that I needed the approval to schedule the Mercedes-Benz repair. Despite those efforts, I again left without a resolution. Here is what makes this even more frustrating: I now live in Connecticut. Getting to CAG in Hempstead is an OVER TWO-HOUR DRIVE EACH WAY. These are not quick visits around the corner. I have repeatedly driven across state lines, paid for gas and tolls, added mileage to my vehicle, only to leave without the sunroof issue resolved. On August 18 I spent hours at the dealership after that long drive. On August 28 I made the trip AGAIN, after giving advance notice, and still got nowhere. Each visit can mean more than four hours on the road before counting time spent waiting at CAG. After I expressed my frustration, Jamie apologized. On August 29 he texted, "I will get this taken care of for you," and said he would help me on Monday. Yet after that promise, I continued reaching out by phone, text and email, asking for a simple update and the approval he said he would obtain. My follow-ups went unanswered, and I still had no authorization or repair appointment when I wrote my original complaint in September. At this point, this is not just about a sunroof. It is about customer service, honesty, accountability and respecting customers' time. I purchased the vehicle in July 2025, reported the problem immediately, returned multiple times, preserved the emails, provided proof, and cooperated with everyone who said they could help. I have been patient through staff changes and repeated promises, yet I am still the one chasing CAG to address a problem that was there when they sold me the car. I also want to be fair. Mike in service has been helpful and genuinely tried to address the mechanical and maintenance issues. Mario has attempted to assist, including confirming the history and contacting Jamie. My frustration is with CAG's failure as a business to deliver a resolution, and with Jamie's lack of follow-through after personally promising to obtain approval. No customer should have to repeatedly call, text, email, sit for hours at a dealership and drive more than two hours each way just to get a straight answer about a documented, longstanding issue. I gave CAG numerous opportunities to make this right without escalating matters. I will now have to explore legal options to recover the cost of having the sunroof repaired elsewhere. More than a year of delays, multiple visits, hours on the road and repeated unanswered follow-ups is unacceptable. I have done my part. I sincerely hoped CAG did theirs.

Daniella was so friendly and helped me immediately. We were staying over in town and the entire staff made so many great suggestions for dinner and what to go see. They really went out of there way. The next day we came back to finalize our transaction and were so grateful to find that everything was taken care of. These people are professional, a class-act and go above and beyond. I would come back again and again.

I returned the third day having obtained insurance and other records. When I arrived the female manager told me they were "giving" me the extended warranty. When I read the contracts there was a line item for $2,000 for the extended warranty and the price of the vehicle was now $10,800 making my $7,995 car $12,800. I said "who asked for the extended warranty?" She told me "The finance company requires it because it's an older vehicle, and they find that when people are paying for repairs, they don't make payments" I said "Ok that's the most absurd thing I've ever heard, but let's table that for the moment, let's move to the price". They looked confused, they said "the price was $11,500 we knocked it down to $10,800 for you" They showed me on online listing for $11,500. I pointed to the salesman who I had seen 2 days earlier and confirmed the price with and he looked like a deer in the headlights and kept his head down mostly. I went outside to clear my head. I went into my email and found the actual listing for $7995. Then I called the finance company who told me that they would not require someone to purchase an extended warranty. I put the finance company on speakerphone and went back into the dealership. "The manager went into the bosses glass walled office for 2 seconds and came back out and said to me "Oh, you're right they don't require the extended warranty on THAT vehicle". I said "no, no.... They don't require it on ANY vehicle so let's not do that". Then I pulled up the actual listing on my phone for $7,995 and presented that. I really needed the vehicle or else I would have just walked out in the first 2 minutes. Finally, they removed the $2000 extended warranty and changed the price back to $7,995. I'd say if you wanna buy a car here, just be careful and don't let them bully you. If you want to buy a car there, let me know and I'll go with you. This place is why car lots will soon be a thing of the past and online models like Carvana, and Carmax, along with independent car brokers will be the norm sooner rather than later. One star here is ok, because I do like the car. The front headlight is out which they offered to fix, but, how do you sell a car with a headlight out ? Whacky stuff. At the end of the day I got what I wanted. Here's the thing though, which they will never understand unfortunately, I brought someone with me that day, who is looking to purchase a used car for their 16 year old son. When we walked in, he picked up a business card, when All this was going down, he put the business card back!! See, if you just operate honestly, your business will grow, when you don't, it shrinks... that's just the facts. They effectively turned 2 repeat customers into 0 repeat customers in one hour. I hope someone there learns this lesson at some point. Also, if you just put the price of the car on the vehicle while it's on the lot... but they don't so they can manipulate the price whenever they feel like it.

I probably should have researched this "business" before hand, but I couldn't find information online about them, which leads me to believe that they have much to hide and I would venture are probably quite shady. That should have been a big enough red flag to run the other way, but I didn't rely on my instincts, unfortunately - so, caveat emptor my friends ! We made a deal FOR THE ASKING PRICE on a vehicle, and I was assured that the deal would be honored and was told that I would receive the vehicle after some repairs were completed. With their full knowledge, I moved money out of a retirement account to make the purchase, and subsequently now have to pay taxes on that amount. I also instituted an insurance policy for the vehicle so I could drive it off the lot, at great expense. I receive a call form these untrustworthy people (the salesperson had someone else make the phone call, probably because he didn't want to receive my wrath) the day before I'm supposed to pick up the vehicle, informing me that they sold the vehicle out from under me, leaving me with costs, aggravation, and wasted time. The sales person, "Jake" (if that's his real name, they don't even put their names on their business card) and his "father" run this "business", I was told, but now I have my doubts about everything that transpired. It also appears that they are doing business under the "Car Guru" name I would STRONGLY suggest that you do business ANYWHERE BUT WITH THIS, I BELIEVE TO BE UNRELIABLE, UNTRUTHFUL, BAND OF SHADOWY & DUPLICITOUS PHONIES !!! Also, according to them, they own a couple other auto related businesses nearby, so I'd be very careful who you're dealing with near here.
