I don't trust them, they gave me bad information. They do not have the buyers' best interest. They do nothing nice for the buyer . They are predatory and greedy . I prefer the Nissan Infiniti in bayside but unfortunately sometimes you have to make decisions quickly unfortunately had rely on legendary greed . After a week of trying to find a lower apr, I gave up and financed through Nissan. The out the door price on the car increased $900, which I didn't realize until I got home and compared the two invoices. No one has returned my call to the manager or email about why. read more

My experience with LEGEND NISSAN in Syosset was horrendous. My father and I came in to buy a 2021 Infiniti Q50. We sat with ZUBAIR KHAN and boy oh boy. I'm not sure who's the bigger liar, ZUBAIR KHAN or his Manager ASHRAFUL ALAM. They assured me that the vehicle is Certified Pre Owned, that is has a warranty on it, and that there is a power train warranty of 7 years or 100,000 miles. We put the deal in place and came in to pick up the car on Thursday 1/11/24. We walked in and I shook ZUBAIR's hand and he made zero eye contact and was very short with me. You would think that someone who's about to make a car deal would greet a customer with a warm welcome. That was red flag #1. Next, ZUBAIR sat us at his desk, immediately took a drill and started swapping the plates from our trade in to the INFINITI. Before we even sat with the financing manager. That was red flag #2. Finally, ZUBAIR left us at his desk ,by ourselves, for a good hour and 15 minutes. This was red flag #3. I would assume he didn't want to be asked any questions or be put under the microscope while we waited to sit with the finance person. We finally sit with the finance manager and guess what. Everything we were told was a LIE!!!!!!!!!!! The car is not certified pre owned (even though they claimed numerous times it was by INFINITI and that's why they couldn't do any better on the price). I specifically asked if the car was certified by Infiniti and I was told "YES". Lie, the car is certified, but by some random 3rd party certification that I've never heard of. The car also does not have any warranty left on it (even though I was assured by both ZUBAIR KHAN and ASHRAFUL ALAM that it does). And, The powertrain warranty from Infiniti that both ZUBAIR KHAN and ASHRAFUL ALAM claim that the car has was inaccurate. Needless to say, I came out of the finance office and asked both ZUBAIR KHAN and ASHRAFUL ALAM what the deal was and the both of them had nothing to say and just put their heads down. Refused to look me in the eye because they know what they know what they did. They know that they lied and mislead us. At one point, ASHRAFUL ALAM did mention that they acquired INFINITI in March of 2023 and are still not familiar with the brand. So, you're telling me that you acquired a car brand 10 months ago and still don't know the policies and procedures? Basic warranty information? How the car brand operates? Maybe educate yourself on the product you're selling that way you can properly educate customers? I felt bad for the financing woman who was helping us because she was caught completely blindsided by the lies we were told. I don't remember her name but she was very sweet and the look on her face said it all. Thankfully, I lined up another deal for another 2021 Q50 from a different dealer just in case this fell through because I had a bad feeling about this place since day one. I told her the deal I had lined up and she said to my father and I "I would take that deal over this one" along with "I hate delivering cars like this" which tells me this isn't the first time something like this has happened. Not to mention, when they pulled the car around it was dirty, not detailed (even though they charge you an extra $3000 in prep fees) and the back window was covered in condensation which is a tell tale sign of moisture getting into the car. Upon settling on a final sale price on a new '23 Frontier, I was led to the finance department to finalize the deal where I discovered that the "final sale price" we had agreed on was marked up over $1000.00! This was not by fault of the finance department. The agreed sales price was approved by my sales rep Matthew Pisarz along with his manager Ashraful Alam. And they provided the finance department with that incorrect sales figure. They claim it was an accident. But this is just one of the many tactics that you hear car dealers try and pull and never think will happen to you. BUT IT WILL AT LEGEND NISSAN! Before leaving this review I have contacted Matt expressing my dissatisfaction, the livid dirty feeling you have when you have just been taken advantage of, and he pleaded with me that he wanted to make it right. I asked how he wished to do so, and he proceeded to offer me all-weather floor mat. What a joke. And the kicker...my vehicle already came with them! Do a little research before blindly throwing money/products at an issue to try and make it go away. After many phone calls with Matt attempting to speak with his manager, Alam, he would continuously ask me what I wanted to make it right. What I wanted was not to feel taken. What I wanted was to be heard and for fault to be admitted, but they were not willing to do that. I eventually realized that if I did not state "what I want", in terms of goods/services, I wasn't going to walk away with any type of reasonable resolution, because they weren't going to make this right on their own accord. So I asked for items that I was going to purchase myself, additional tie-down anchors/cleats as well as utili-tracks for the bed floor. All Nissan items, nothing 3rd party. Now that I stated terms, as unpleased as I was that I was more or less forced to do so, I then and only then received a call back from Matt's manger, Alam. I explained my story to him, he heard me out and apologized for this happening, and said that he will talk to his boss to see if he can get me those items. And that he would call me back in 2 days. Well 2 days came and went, despite my attempts to get Alam on the phone by reaching out to Matt and the general dealer phone number. The 3rd day, I had to call to get Alam on the phone, only for him to offer me 4 tie-down anchors/cleats for this inconvenience. A total of a $200 value. Are you kidding me? I declined the offer and he said that it was the best he could offer. After this experience happened to me, I looked up reviews and found other customers with THE SAME EXACT STORY! I was in shock. I should have looked up reviews before going there. Do your research people, it does matter! Frankly, at the end of this entire experience, I am disgusted that the team at Legend Nissan attempts tactics like this with their customers. And they probably get away with it a lot of the time too. SCAMMERS AND TAKES ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN!! On May 17, 2023, I reached out to Legend Nissan after finding a 2023 Pathfinder SL within my price range ($400-$500 per month) on the nissanusa.com website. After receiving an email from Ian at Legend Nissan stating the vehicle was still available, I went to the showroom to look at the vehicle and discuss leasing options. I was partnered with a salesperson, Mike Black, who quoted a monthly lease payment of approximately $686. The quote I saw on the website for the same Pathfinder SL 4WD I was shown at Legend Nissan was $463 per month for the same terms - 36 month lease and 10k miles per year. That said, I advised Legend Nissan of this issue in an email that same day and didn't hear back from anyone that day; however, I noticed the NissanUSA website was revamped the next day. Now, it notes that a down payment of $6K is required to get a lower lease payment. Additionally, the payment calculator automatically adds a Down Payment when you open it and you cannot build a Pathfinder SL with a SL Premium Package and Towing Hitch Receiver even though that's how I viewed the vehicle on the website. I feel Nissan and Legend Nissan acted improper. First, by advertising a lower lease price just to get me into their dealership and second, by believing they could say whatever they wanted and quote a much higher lease price since I am a woman who was not accompanied by a man and would buy into whatever they said. I have the emails and screenshots saved to prove all of this. It was the worse experience I've ever had with a car dealership. Recently, I received a call and email from Legend Nissan, but as I told Joe, I am not sure why they contacted me again since Wayne Siegel, their GM, stated to the NY Attorney General, after receiving my complaint, that they offered me an "outstanding deal but that wasn't good for her either," and I "would be a disgruntled customer from the start." To be clear, offering $499 a month for an 18 month lease was not an outstanding deal as the same car was estimated to be a lease of $463 a month for 36 months with no money down on Nissan's website. When I spoke to Joe previously, he looked for any which way to prove that I "wrongfully made the assumption that offers" I saw on the Nissan website didn't require any money down after sending you picture after picture. Each one I sent them, he looked for another loophole. I may be a woman, but I am far from stupid or naive. I also found it amusing that Joe stated in his recent voicemail that he wanted to give me "rock bottom number over the phone with the amount of money you want and the miles you want." I was a pretty good customer for the last 7 years. I went into this last job explaining that I have been experiencing the same problem with my battery dying for the last 3 years. This was the 4th battery since Feb 2020. Something isn't right? They said it may have been due to the broken tail lights short-circuiting?? The problem had been occurring before the taillight casing broke (I cracked both taillight housings a month apart in Aug/Sept 2022). I also had gotten an estimate on the taillights in Oct 22. They said nothing was wrong with the wiring. However, they made it seem like I had to have the taillights fixed (an $824 job) because that may be the cause. I was holding off on fixing the taillight due to the cost and age of my car (2013). I also knew it was not going to resolve the issue with my battery dying. Sure enough, I brought the car home after $1200 worth of work was done, I woke up the next morning and started my car with a little hope, and it was dead. When I called and said the battery was dead again. They said they tested the battery when I came in and the battery was fine. I said, that's because I had it jumped and drove 40 mins to your service center. Of course it's going to be fine. I told them they had to keep it overnight and they will find it dead in the morning, this is what we did last time. They kept it from Friday to Monday, and I receive a call on Monday, "We diagnosed your car. Your battery is dead." I said, "Yes! That's why I keep bringing it in." I want to know what keeps killing my battery every year. They replaced the battery as they have the last 3 years. I was charged half the cost of the battery because the last battery I paid for was in Feb 2020. The two batteries in July 2021 were free because they were under warranty. So, I paid $141.22 in total ($90 for the battery and $40 for installation, plus tax). Which was fine and fair. This is what should have happened the first time I went in. What I'm not happy about is that I paid an unnecessary $824 plus tax to get my taillight repaired, that I was made to feel like I had to get done, when it wasn't the problem (they said it was because they were looking for the cause of the problem. Yes, at my expense). Plus other work they did the first time, costing me $1200. None of which fixed the problem. When the actual problem actually only cost $141.22 to be fixed. I was sent a feedback form after the job. I told them, if they want to keep their customers, they should look for the most cost-effective route the first time, then work their way up, as they look for solutions. Not start with the most expensive thing first. I feel like they either didn't care about the expense to their customers and/or were taking advantage of the situation. I was sent a 2nd form to confirm what happened. I told them I would give them time to respond to me and also that I was going to post this review. It's been over 3 weeks now, and no response from them. I have been a long-time customer of Legend Nissan (7 years) and I've always had a good and sometimes great experience, but not this time. They may have gotten $1200 from me, but they lost my trust and a long-time customer. read more

For both our appointment to see the car and to come back to pick it up, the salesman was late. It wasn't a huge deal but would have been nicer to not wait 10-30 min. I haggled a deal for myself that They couldn't honor so they brought in a supervisor who along with the wonderful salesman Michael Black worked out a deal that I was extremely happy with for three months later. I just picked my car up last night which was 2 days earlier than I was supposed get it. Again they were accommodating in every way. Michael made sure to look for me at my appointment time and brought my car around so I could check it out. I then met with the finance department. And there is a reason I'm willing to drive out here to have my car looked at. I needed to few things done and a few recalls addressed. My dad always warned me - Never bring your car to a dealer for service - I always listened until now, boy was Dad right. Unfortunately I had no choice. I was away and the car died on my daughter. Being new to the neighborhood , and fortunate enough to have new cars I had no options near by. Turned out car need new battery. (Car only 3 1/2 years old). $299.00 for the battery. I'll leave that alone as it is not the real concern. So I have it towed there on a Sunday when service center is closed. They were nice on phone to agree to take the car and let me leave it - good start. I get a call from the guy handling my car - turns out I have maintenance plan - another good start. So Oil Change and Tire rotation he took care of. (I have the voicemail). Few other maintenance issues I approve. I am not a mechanic so I dont know if legit or not, but I am not complaining. I now doubt that they are legit because of my experience. My daughter arrives to pick up the car $2,500.00 bill. Seems I approved brand new tires, balancing and alignment. Did I mention the guy who called me already told me he took care of the tire rotation for free as part of maintenance plan? Do you rotate new tires? Or rotate them then change the tires? Again I am no mechanic but i don't think so. I also was charged parts for the oil change - again that was suppose to be included as part of maintenance plan - if not think it should have been explained as the cost of maintenance plan plus parts means a very expensive oil change. Basically stay away from this place. You can explain away this bad review, but you see all the bad reviews here? Cant explain them all away. I sent them my phone number (which they already had) and surprise, surprise they never contacted me! DON'T BUY A CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED NISSAN FROM LEGEND! You will not get the car in the shape that Nissan supposedly guarantees you by buying a 'certified pre-owned vehicle.' I found out that my vehicle had mismatching tires, and one of the tires was in HORRIFIC shape when I took my vehicle in for service at another Nissan. I learned that I should have received a car with matching tires as a CPO. I also learned that the Engine Air Filter and In-Cabin Microfilter were not in the shape they should have been, considering how much I had driven the car. I contacted Legend Nissan several times to tell them about these issues. The CPO manager was supposed to call me back but never did. At this point, I took the issue to Nissan Consumer Affairs, and they were totally incompetent. I went back to the dealership, and the only thing they offered was for me to drive 6 hours to them to buy a whole new set of tires from them at full price, and they would give me a free $60 service. This dealership is one of the worst I've ever had the unfortunate experience of dealing with. I leased my 2019 Rogue Sport and then at the end of the lease term, decided to purchase it. I was offered an additional warranty on the vehicle which I purchased. I found out this past June 1, 2024, while I was trying to service the car at my local Nissan dealership, that the warranty had been cancelled. That was a surprise to me because I still had about two years left on the warranty or so I thought. My biggest complaint is with the Finance Manager, Marissa Mahmood. At first, she would always be too busy to get on the phone so I left many, many messages with no return phone call. When I contacted Nissan Customer Service department to escalate my complaint, is when she finally took my call wherein she told me I'd be getting a refund to my car loan for the full warranty amount. I've called several times since then to follow up with her and she'd give me an excuse like I was sick, I was out of the office, I was busy with month end, etc. etc. etc. the only excuse she has thrown my way is the dog ate my paperwork. It is now August - over two months from the date of my first call to the dealership, specifically Marissa Mahmood, and I still haven't received a call back or confirmation of my credit to my car loan with Nissan Finance. It's funny how everyone is so nice when you're thinking of buying a car but when you actually do, they couldn't care less. Had to buy a car recently and my experience was good here. Coming from Nissan in Westbury, which I highly discourage as their customer service is absolutely awful with misleading quotes, my experience here in Syosset was more favorable as my salesman was willing to work with me. Service was good and prompt and more reliable with quality cars. Recommend them. read more

So let me tell you about my first time coming to Nissan of Syosset. In 2016, i was played for my money when i was 18 at NISSAN IN WESTBURY. Stuck in a contract i couldnt afford but was able to walk out with. Explaining my situation to my potential car salesman, Jeff, you can just see how angry it made him that i was hurt so bad. These people are so generous and considerate. They don't give you false promises and are very realistic. They did the best they absolutely could to get me out of my sh**ty vehicle without beating around the bush or being fake nice. Jeff made me feel not only comfortable, but spoke to me like a friend and you cant always find that especially in most businesses in NY. I would recommend Jeff to a young adult like myself and anyone who just wants truth an honesty and not a scam. I went in there with so much concern and was so distraught and left with so much knowledge on how Westbury took advantage of me and so much reassurance. I will forever be grateful for the agent that took care of me.
