Five Stars -- Matt is the real deal…read more We hired Matt for a major home remodel that included painting walls and cabinets, replacing flooring throughout half the house, foundation repair, garage epoxy, and replacing doors and windows -- and he knocked every single one of them out of the park. What stood out most wasn't just the quality of the work -- it was how he handled the entire process. Matt communicated consistently from start to finish, checked in regularly with updates, and never left us guessing about where things stood. When we needed to change direction on design decisions mid-project, he was patient and flexible without making us feel like an inconvenience. He also put real thought into the order and flow of the work, knowing that we were living in the house the entire time -- that kind of consideration isn't something you take for granted. When small things came up after the project was finished, Matt didn't hesitate to come back and make it right. No pushback, no excuses -- he simply stood behind his work, and that says everything about his character. We'd hire him again without a second thought, and would recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor who is skilled, communicative, and genuinely easy to work with. Oh -- and our dog, who is not easily won over, grew to look forward to Matt's visits every day. When the project wrapped up, he actually missed him. If that's not the highest endorsement we can give, we don't know what is.

We chose Nash remodeling after extensive research and a long interviewing process. Based on the experience I had, I can say that they are one of the best remodeling companies in Houston. Their price fell in the middle range of all the companies we got quoted from. They also provided us design ideas during initial consultation. Ruben was very attentive to our needs and spent extra time to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. He even accommodated our design change after half of the bathroom tiles were completed. They worked long hour right before holiday to insure project was completed on time. Nash remodeling team did wonderful clean-up jobs daily and at the end of the project. They even cleaned up the areas outside their project areas. Now we have two elegant bathrooms that fit our style and budget and the amazing and beautiful kitchen that we love. I have been working with Miel Construction for a little over the past year. After a great…read moreexperience renovating my home's master bathroom, I've had them back to handle a home office renovation as well as a powder room renovation thus far. To share a few thoughts: - My home has an odd layout, mixing open-concept with split-level, so rooms do not begin and end in conventional places. This leads to odd requests on projects (e.g. "paint half of this wall"). Miel has been extremely understanding of the house, which has helped me tackle projects in a way that works with my budget. - Texts during the week always have very timely responses, and work is stood behind in the event of a small goof here and there. - As someone who enjoys DIY projects and is very invested in the materials and design choices I make, Miel has been extremely accomodating to develop quotes where I provide various materials (door hardware, marble, etc.). That allows me to get exactly the look I want, without needing to be my own contactor. Five stars does not suggest that there has never been any mistakes ever. Small things are bound to happen here and there, just as I'm sure they would with any contractor. I do think I have a five star partnership with Miel, and when issues arise, I can count on them to be resolved in a reasonable manner. I look forward to more future projects with Miel.
