Chicken & Pineapple Rice, Pictured vs. Actual
Roff S.

I order through MealPal pretty frequently, and while most portions throughout downtown SF are smaller than average (which is normal), FullSkoop's lunch serving was absurdly tiny. 3 bites of chicken and a half-cup of rice. Not only was the portion tiny, but the chicken was pretty dry, the pineapples were not seared/sauced (as the photo would suggest), there were no jalapenos as listed, and no sauce on the meal. Just some dry chicken with a side of rice, and a basil leaf. Definitely not impressed and don't plan on coming back or recommending to friends in the future. Do better FullSkoop.

Mirin glazed salmon salad (MealPal)

Saw this option on MealPal and immediately selected it as my lunch option. I will say -- I was slightly skeptical based on past reviews of meals obtained through MealPal, but this was easily the best meal I've had through the app. Dare I say, one of the best salads I've ever had. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the dressing was absolutely delicious. Personally, the portion was perfect for me and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the meal. If I ever see it on MealPal again, I won't even hesitate to order it!

Ahi tuna salad
Bri T.

I'm so sad to report that I did not enjoy this meal. I love ahi tuna, and to be fair - the tuna was wonderful and the rub on it was great - which is why I'm giving 2/5. However, the rest of the salad just wasn't good. It was overdressed so everything except the tuna set on top tasted like the dressing which really wasn't good. And everything else made no sense to me. It had fennel, grapes??, celery and full pieces of green bean...it was weird. And it was really just fennel and celery which was not was I was expecting. Maybe if you love those two things you'd like it more than me. I ordered this because it is a salad, but there was maybe 5-8 pieces of lettuce in the entire container. I'm tempted to try something other than a salad in the future because it seems to be a well liked food truck, but I just don't recommend the ahi tuna salad based on what I had.

Ordered chicken tribune through ritual with discounted price (8 +tax = 9.04), unfortunately this order is degraded to mealpal portion and quality with a higher price... service is good, but not happy with this experience compare to the regular entree they display on the street! Taste is ok!

I can't write paragraphs so I'll just bullet point how FullSkoop distinguishes itself from other food trucks: -You know what they put into the food: fresh and organic ingredients. -environmentally friendly: all containers and utensils are compostable. -efficient system: one cart cooks one thing, no cross contamination. -delicious restaurant-quality food. So good my company started catering with FullSkoop on a regular basis.

This place is a really great and easy option to have right by work. I ordered the chicken tabouli salad offered through MealPal and it was great. My only negative feedback would be there could have been more cucumbers and tomatoes, as it was more of just a quinoa salad than tabouli. The chicken was also a tadddd chewy, but only a few pieces. Overall, it was seasoned great, the portion size was perfect for lunch, and the ingredients really felt fresh! The staff also seems passionate about the food they are serving.

The Tribune
Jessie L.

I ordered the Tribune for lunch today it was very satisfying. The delicious fat from ground chicken steeped into the warm brown rice. There is a good amount of shredded veggies on top that balanced out the fat and made a great combo. The portion size is also decent for what you pay. I think I'm returning here for lunch at least once every two week because it's THAT good.

I was really surprised by Fullskoop. I've walked by it a 100 times but never stopped to try it, I blame tunnel vision. I found out today that its a full fledged open air kitchen that make meals with local ingredients. Their portions are substantial and they don't skimp on the protein. What I had today was full of flavor. I had brown rice and ground chicken with cabbage and jalapeños with a lemon dressing. It felt like a home cooked meal, if you had a professional chef cooking for you. The people were down to earth and friendly and it took less than 7min for the food to come out warm and ready to eat. The menu changes frequently and the ingredients are great quality.

This is my favorite food truck in San Francisco. I found it via MealPal when I ordered the Minty Jalapeño Chicken. The flavors were delicious and nice integrated without being muddled. Chicken sweet and the chilies accenting the dish nicely. The rice was perfect too. The staff here is professional and friendly. I will definitely come back and try their other selections. My teammates at work agreed after I recommended this place to them as well.

Audris K.

I've only tried one item on their menu, but it's good enough to make me want to go back. It's their "baggy's". They don't skimp on the meat/protein, and the taste is on point. Wish they'd put more kimchi on it but still good. The guys running the place are super friendly and they take the time to explain their menu to you if you ask. They seem to make adjustments if you ask for it (think I heard someone ask for a vegetarian version of one of their items). Oh and they have a point card too so you get a free meal after getting 9 stamps. Maybe I'll be more adventurous next time and try their other items.

If you're in the area, FullSkoop is a must! I have tried their minty chicken salad and the brisket sandwich - I must say my tastebuds we're happy!! I definitely recommend.

Fantastic lunch place! All the food is organic and freshly made on the spot. Most of the items on the menu are pretty good but the tribune is my absolute favorite. There are also a few standing tables. Perfect to hang out on a sunny day.

Tri Tip salad from Mealpal...
Victoria C.

FullSkoop? So... just one full scoop? I'm posting in reference of my MealPal experience. I usually tread very lightly in trying new items/vendors on MealPal, and when I do I go by coworkers or Yelp reviews because a good amount of the meals can be total ripoffs. My experience at FullSkoop was just that. Decided to try the new Santa Maria Tri Tip salad that was listed. Looked decent enough in the photo and I've ordered plenty of salads on MP before, it's not going to fill me up but that's most salads. When I was handed my salad I was in shock... The serving size and just holding the box in my hand I could of dumped out the whole salad onto my tiny little girl hands it was that small (pictures included). So this was barely a side salad? What I was able to "define" as the salad was about 70% jalapenos and onions. The tri tip was ok, cold and nothing special... I could of walked over a block and gone to Buckhorn if I wanted better tri tip. Ended up just eating the tri tip, throwing the rest out, and went out again to grab a "second lunch".

When I didn't hear anything via email or a call I called the office and spoke to Ben who apologized for the lack of communication and he would respond via email, which he did a few hours later. After several emails from Ben we were able to settle on a menu in just a few days! We were looking for a Hawaiian fusion themed menu and Ben & his staffto came up with a great menu. W Some of our many items that was a huge hit with our guests were Vietnamese vegan rolls, miso glazed black code, a toss green salad with Edamame and Asian dressing, crab deviled eggs, scallops spoon, chimichuri steak crostini, short ribs skewers, Asian style lamb meatballs, and dessert of fruit cups and mini cupcakes were perfect. There was a few dishes that wasn't as successful but overall everyone enjoyed the food. We had pre arranged to have someone to meet the catering staff early for setup but due to unknown delays they did show up until an hour before the service started which also ment they were rushed to setup the food but they did a good job to get the hot and cold foods setup before the end of the service. Overall they did a good job and the food excellent but arriving late to the event and poor timing to replenish empty dishes was disappointing also dessert wasn't served until most guest departed. We enjoyed working with Ben and appreciated the communication once it was established.

I picked up the tray from San Bruno Market in the Portola District of SF (thank goodness for the parking lot!!). Easy pick-up from a friendly store owner/manager(?). The food is still as good as before. I ordered extra Spam and egg onigiri, but some only came with Spam and no egg; still good, but not *quite* as good!! She also substituted a couple of onigiri for the eggrolls that we don't usually eat, so that's a plus! The tray's presentation was, again, excellent. Garlic noodles were delicious, beef and chicken skewers tender and delectable, cha trung (?) very flavorful, and empanadas yummy! Two of the onigiri are enough for a light lunch, but I tend to eat more than that just because it's so good!!

Honestly, I wish I hadn't wasted so much time exploring other options because City exceeded even my highest expectations. The party was at a nightclub in the Castro, and the delivery was perfectly on time. The customer service 1000%. They even provided custom cards for each dish so guests knew exactly what they were eating, a small but thoughtful touch that people really appreciated. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, chicken, smoked portobello mushrooms, barbecue sauces, mac & cheese, potato salad, and tossed salad. With an open bar, I didn't expect the food to steal the show, but it did. Friends and family were raving all night, , "Where is this food from?" The next day, my phone was blowing up with texts about the brisket, the mac & cheese, the works. (For the record: I'm extremely picky about mac & cheese, and City nailed it.) My cousin from the Midwest said that the portobello mushrooms were his favorite. The portions were so generous we had enough to host a next-day gathering to enjoy the leftovers, though the mac & cheese disappeared the night of the party so order extra! In a city like San Francisco, where great BBQ is rare, I only wish City Smoke House had a brick-and-mortar location I could frequent.
