I had a horrible experience with this place 6 years ago and refused to ever go back. I went against my better judgement and visited location to simply get air in my tire. They said I had a rim leak and charged me $25. After the repair my car/wheel started shaking/vibrating. I work 6 days/week, so dealt with it until I had time, but then the tire went low again. I called, they told me to come in... they then said, I drove 1,400 miles and that it was on me and they would not help without charging me again. The manager stayed off in the distance leaving an hourly associate to tell me. They took no responsibility. Now I am taking to dealer to pay to get my car re- aligned when all I wanted was air in my tire. I called to speak to owner... no one would call me back. So here we are... 2nd time. This place is a rip off. I don't trust them touching my car. The team is unskilled and will actually do more harm to your car than any good. read more

I've been getting my oil changed here since I have lived in Frankfort, even before Fuller's bought the location. I have always had terrific service by competent and polite technicians. They own the car wash next door so you can get coupons for deals on keeping your car well maintained inside and out. I don't change oil so I am sure glad that Fuller's does! read more

Came here for a simple oil change. Easy in-and-out, $90 all said and done. They also topped of my tires, lubricated my alternator belt, put more coolant and windshield fluid in for free and did some other inspections. The oil change came with a free $12 car wash. If you want a basic oil change it's a pretty good place, there's cheaper places around the Frankfort area but if you don't care about price that much and just want a simple in-and-out this is a pretty good place. They'll try to sell you things you do not need, the so called mechanics that work here are careless, and they won't take responsibility for their mistakes which is the worst of it all. Auto places like this is what gives the entire industry a bad name. Do yourself a huge favor and get your oil change, tune-ups, tire rotations, etc some where else. My son came home from college and took his car in to Fuller's for an oil change. He left to go back to Illinois State in Normal, IL and the car started smoking about 60 miles from home. He pulled over and had it towed back to the Hyundai dealership in Matteson where we bought it. The service department said the oil drain plug was missing and all the oil leaked out. He turned the engine off just in time before any engine damage and they figure the drain plug was probably hanging on by a thread and came out completely when driving. Lucky that we only had to pay a couple hundred dollars for the tow and oil and a drain plug, rather than $12,000 for a new engine. UPDATE: My son went in and spoke with the manager and showed him receipts and told him what happened. The manager paid my son $80 toward the tow and they cleaned the oil off the bottom of the car, where it all leaked out while driving. He told my son to come back next week to speak with the owner for the $135 balance of the bill from the Hyundai dealer, because the $80 was all he was authorized to pay. Glad they agreed to take care of it. read more

I usually only take my car to the dealership for service, which has become increasingly inconvenient for me. They close before I get home from work, don't take appointments on Saturday, etc. So I was in the market for a new place. I happened to be in the area and Fuller's sign said "Oil Changes in 10 Minutes", I thought yeah right! Not only was my oil change done in 10 minutes, the staff was friendly and helpful. They let me know that I needed new wiper blades, but didn't go with that hard sell approach you get from other places. And I got a free car wash. I found my new spot! read more

Avoid at all cost. They wouldn't service my car because it was 5:55 and Mitch said they already took their last vehicle for the day and they close at six. Fine okay, tried the next day and they left the oil cap off sitting in the engine compartment. Tried selling me an air filter that didn't need it. After 10 years and 2 vehicles being continuously service here I will no longer visit this place or there car wash for detailing nor any other fuller. Unprofessional poor service. read more

I didn't go here for an oil change but will in the future. I actually went for a car wash and was vacuuming out my car. I had my car off with my keys in my pocket. When I was done vacuuming it, I tried starting it and it would turn over. I asked the gentlemen across to help me jump it and he did. It still wouldn't turn over. So I walked over to the oil change place and spoke to Jake. Josh, another worked jumped into action and walked to the car with me to help me try and get it started. Jake took over for Josh in the shop. After testing the battery, he found it to be fine. He jumped he car with his cable jumper and THANKFULLY it started!!! They didn't charge anything and were so incredibly helpful and I am so incredibly gracious! Thank you to Josh for all that you did so I wouldn't be late picking up my child from preschool. Thanks to Jake for helping out too and checking up to make sure everything got started! These two deserve to be recognized and they deserve a raise! I am one happy Mom! read more

The guys working there have a "pep in their step" not to mention never once was I sold something that I didn't already know I needed. I brought my car in for an oil change (full synthetic) at a cost of $104. My check engine light went on the next day, so I brought it to South Oak for them to read the code. It read 2 codes, incorrect oil type and an oil pressure sensor. I went back to Fullers to see what oil they put in and it turns out they used the wrong oil weight. I spoke with one of the technicians and they confirmed they used the wrong oil weight, but he said that would not trip the light. That is not what South Oak told me and I let him know that. They said "we can change it but we will have to charge you again". He refused to give me his name and as he walked away and said to go talk to Mike Fuller who was in the other building. I finally got his name after I asked a third time. His answer "it's on my shirt". Thank you Josh, you are a real professional. When I eventually talked to Mike Fuller, I told him the purpose of talking to him was to explain the situation and why I would no longer be taking any of my families cars their again. I have 5 cars in the household who all go (well used to go) to Fullers. I did not want to argue, I just wanted what I paid for. Despite this he was incredible childish. Just one example, I asked him what weight oil my car calls for (as we stood there and looked at the oil cap). He said 5W20. I asked him what they put in the car and he said "I don't know I wasn't there. Keep in mind he already was told by Josh and another technician that they used the wrong oil. He just kept saying that wouldn't trip the light. I asked him again and he refused to answer and just repeated "I wasn't there" (despite the words of his own techs and the receipt). THIS IS THE OWNER ACTING LIKE A CHILD. My point was simple, your technicians did NOT put the correct weight in the car (regardless of the check engine light). I did not get what I paid for. After 10 minutes of arguing (that I wanted to avoid) he FINALLY said, did you want us to change it and I said "yes that is all I was asking for". My point is simple, I did not want to argue with him to get what I paid for. But unfortunately I had to. I will not be going there again for an oil change or a car wash or a pack of gum. Mike was rediculous and I am amazed he is still in business. He could have had a lifelong customer by doing the right thing from the beginning, but I suppose $20 in oil was just too hard for him to swallow. I swung in here out of convenience to get my headlamp changed. I noticed it was out when I was at Alsip Nursery and this was on my way home. I always take my car into the Fuller's in Palos Heights for oil changes and other maintenance and they give me excellent quality service. Well, these guys in Mokena changed my headlamp while I waited in the car. It took about 10 minutes. I drove off without even thinking to check the headlamp because it was such a simple thing. The next morning when I saw the reflection of my headlights on my garage door, I saw that the one headlamp was still out. When I called them, the Fuller's in Palos Heights told me they couldn't fix this, I had to take it back to the one in Mokena which was 11 miles one way out of my way. It took an hour and a half out of my day, plus 22 miles to go back to Mokena where the manager checked my car and said they replaced the high beam and not the head lamp. What??? Why? Could they not SEE the head lamp was out? That my running light was out? But they changed the high beam lamp? Then instead of offering me a free car wash or anything, the manager told me that the head lamp was a bit more expensive than the high beam, so he wasn't going to charge me for it. Oh. Thank you for my inconvenience and your incompetence. So this is a big warning: All Fuller's Car Washes/Lube Centers are not alike. read more

Stripped out my oil pan! Extremely dissatisfied with the service I received at Fullers Fast Lube in Mokena. After a recent oil change I noticed a puddle of oil under my vehicle. I checked the oil level and discovered that it was nearly 3 quartz low. There was a significant amount of oil on the oil pan and I could manually twist the pan with my fingers. Fullers has been the only company to change my oil since we purchased the vehicle. I spoke with the owner, Mike Fuller, who said this was normal wear and tear and he refused to even cover the cost of replacement parts ($87). Steer clear of this place. read more

Do Not let these people near your car. I had my oil changed at Aurora location and the oil filter FELL OFF...destroying the engine. Then the owner refused to have the engine replaced by a reputable mechanic! Better Business bureau and Attorney General on this now...GO TO Qualified people...forget the 'coupon' read more

Be very careful about the automatic drive through wash--we took our car through there yesterday and the hood was scraped by the roller brush mechanism. Very unhappy with my experiences here. The technicians are polite for the most part but that's where the good stuff stops. The price is NEVER what they quote you. They always try to sell me things I don't need. The last time I went here the guy told me I absolutely needed to get some filter (completely unrelated to the oil change) replaced and that if I didn't my car could potentially get damaged. He said it was an inexpensive fix. Considering I have no understanding of car mechanics, I let him do it. I called my brother who is very good with cars and he told me there was no way I needed that piece replaced. He told me to ask the technician to see the piece that was being replaced and to take a picture of it. When I took the picture and showed my brother he was absolutely furious that Fuller's had lied to me about needing to have the piece replaced. It ended up costing me $60 for just that. I reached out to a manager and never heard back. I would stay away from this place. read more

I used to take my car here for oil changes, then for last couple years my husband has been taking my car for the oil changes. Today we went here together. Never Again! As always, they did find extras they tried to sell us (windshield wipers was a new offer to me - then I noticed the advertisements for wipers - obviously some new company is connected with them and they are pushing another unnecessary, over priced item). Plus, since they have updated their car washing services, you have to drive in circles, like through a maze, to even find to the entrance of the oil servicing entrance. Prices - outrageous!! And...whatever happened to washing your windows? That was an automatic in the past. I didn't realize you now have to ASK. So--raise your prices and cut your services--not the right way to keep customers! No wonder we were able to pull right in, no waiting, on a Saturday morning. I will no longer support this establishment, and I do not recommend others do either. read more
