I live all the way in Brooklyn NY and asked a local business owner if they could refer me somewhere I could trust to get me back on the road. They referred me to Direct Drive Diagnostics and when I got there, Thomas literally stopped what he was working on to assist me. This is arguably one of the best mechanic experiences I've ever had. Lisa the office Manager was a sweetheart and Thomas and his partner were able to assess what was wrong, and get my car up in running in roughly under 40 minutes. They were honest, hospitable, all had a great sense of humor and I felt welcomed and comforted that everything was going to be resolved. I highly recommend this place and even living in Brooklyn will bring my car back there moving forward because of how great and reliable they are. The shop was owned by William Vasquez RIP, inwhich, I never personally met but his Wife Pelkys and daughter Joanna run the shop since his death and they do an excellent job. I found that to be a rather unique situation because 99 % of shops are dominated by men. Nevertheless, I highly recomend this shop as a go to place , especially for women.

Brought my car in, handed over the keys and was told once again that a 2018 would cost $10 (how great and cheap is that?). And then... I was handed a $37 bill. I questioned it was $10 from the beginning and thought it was a mistake. Then was told, "OHH, thought you said 2019." I couldn't have been more clearer that it was 2018. I paid the bill since the necessary service was done but had to do it via debit since I brought $20 in cash. The guy behind the counter didn't seem too happy about the debit and sarcastic said that apparently he didn't know how to do his job, didn't know the right prices, etc. I don't care much for that but making a quick buck through dishonesty is why I will never come back again. And.. grease stains were left on the interior material of my car which shows they do not care about giving your car back the way it was first given.

My car was badly damaged but not totaled. Henry took care of the whole process for me working with my insurance. The insurance authorized a rental for three weeks and the car was ready on time.
