My daughter begins kindergarten this fall, and she has said on more than one occasion that she "doesn't want to move on from Deb's." Since my parents house is up for sale he said the agreement was he would only pay half. Mind you the church got a huge sum of money for installing that tower they remodeled the whole parking lot as all well as rebuilt the structure of the building. When I explained to him that when I did come to visit the people he has living in back of these homes reeve their engines, have bonfires, and are rather loud and these things go on in the late hours. I went on to state the tower killed all my parents plants, grass, and even effected my moms computerized Defibrillator which ultimately made her pass away. His response so your mom never owned a Cell Phone or Microwave?! I was appalled by this pastors behavior. He also went on to mock they mesh protectant that the home owners put on their home because they now know the danger of cell towers as well as the smart meters. This conversation was turned over to the local news channel where they will in return investigate the claims that numerous people in the Santa Clara Neighborhood group have made as well as the ongoing petition that is on Change.org. If you go to this church I pray that you are serving and praying to a god and not this disgusting greedy pastors version of god! A pastor of all people don't make fun of someone's pain and suffering! Maybe this explains why their is only 8 cars in the driveway on Sunday's!!!

I was looking for more than childcare for my child; I…read morewanted a place where I could pop in or stay all day, and be part of his first introduction to school. And I wanted a community we could feel connected to. EPCP is all that. Parents work in the classroom as parent-teachers, so you have to be aware that not everyone will parent-teach the way you would. That can be challenging. The reward is seeing your child bloom among others, first-hand. The school has been in place for more than 50 years and the teacher for the two-year-olds has been teaching for more than 25. The older class (three- and four-year-olds) has had some fluctuation over the past year; our beloved teacher moved away and proved difficult to replace, but after some trial and error, a fresh and enthusiastic teacher seems to be fitting the bill. Though our family is moving on this year, I believe the community will thrive in the years to come. Tuition is low. The community is incredibly supportive. The school partners with local UO-based EC Cares to provide evaluations and assistance to kids who need a little extra attention. No school is perfect (hence four stars, rather than five) but EPCP is pretty awesome. Experience will vary based on your participation level, and that of the other families. We're going to miss EPCP for sure!
