Several years ago, our house caught fire by a lightning strike and to make a long story short, the builder hired to rebuild it came up short on the quality and workmanship side of things. My wife and I were not happy with the results they left us with, so we hired a different company to come in and "fix" the bath. I won't name them, but they were even worse than the builders we originally had. So at this point we had an unusable master bath that was worked on twice and cost us thousands of dollars. We found the Kitchen Master and liked what we saw on their web page so we contacted them to help us with our hopeless master bath once and for all. From our first meeting with our designer, Anna, everything just went unbelievably smoothly. She guided us through all of our selection choices and helped us to pick out the items we were on the fence about, right in their showroom. The actual demolition and re-construction work was completed by Josh. We've dealt with quite a few contractors over the years and unfortunately, most of them we were not happy with but Josh was terrific. A professional through and through, he had the knowledge to get the work done quickly and at a high level of quality. Everything that was done, all the tile work, the custom glass shower and the installation of our new vanity counter looks absolutely amazing. His attention to detail was remarkable and the work he did to get things done right, did not go unnoticed by us. Tom our project manager, always kept us up to date with scheduling the work, and was in constant contact with us to let us know what would happen with the job at any given time. He was a great point of contact and never failed to answer our questions and return our calls or emails. We always knew what was happening with our remodel and never felt out of the loop in any way. Everyone we worked with at the Kitchen Master treated us with respect and put us at ease with their knowledge and level of professionalism. From the start we felt like we were in good hands. If and when we decide to remodel another bathroom, we will not hesitate to call on them. It's nice to finally feel like we've found a high quality team to work with that we can trust. We did a full gut kitchen remodel and one of the goals was to maximize our cabinet space. Our designer at Brakur (Andi) was extremely helpful throughout the entire project. She provided very creative ideas to maximize cabinet space while incorporating a variety of features such as a built-in cabinet door spice rack, knife drawer, etc. Andi was also very patient as we revised the cabinet layout a few times. The quality and craftsmanship of their cabinets is unmatched. Options such as soft close drawers and doors are standard with Brakur whereas these are considered 'upgrades' with other cabinet vendors. Their customer service was very helpful and responsive as two cabinets were damaged during the remodel by other contractors and Brakur promptly repaired and replaced the damaged cabinets at no additional cost. This is our second project with Brakur as we finished our basement 5 years ago and they provided all of the cabinets for that project as well. Since working with them 5+ years ago we have not had any issues, concerns or regrets and would highly recommend them for any new construction or remodeling cabinet needs.

They made cabinet off of first visit rough numbers written on a ripped piece of scratch paper. Did business in the past was explicitly explained that they come to the house to measure to an 1/8 of an inch for EVERY JOB that is what custom is. Even though they admit these egregious mistakes they will not remake cabinet for master bath... they will put waste of space fillers in or we can buy a new cabinet. Could have did this for 1/3 of the price from a regular home improvement store. STAY AWAY... they cut corners and you pay the big price!

We decided to move forward with Carpets Direct and are so happy with the finished result. Mike did a great job installing our carpet and even came back on NYE to complete. They even took our old carpet into our basement crawl space for us to use which was great! After they were finished Dave checked in to make sure we were happy with the result which we were. The quality of the work has warranted the low rating. They did not order the correct quantity of carpet to begin with, which meant two occasions for installation. But I do understand mistakes can happen. However, I now see that should have been a flag. After less than 6 months, there are multiple very visible seams in several locations. The worst being in the middle of a hallway - a major area of the house. I had never ever seen a seam in any carpet ever before, any where, so it was strange and somewhat shocking. They did respond and schedule to fix it in a timely manner. However, after spending 3 hours to supposedly fix the issues, a week later, the seams are just as bad. This has colored the whole experience to be extremely disappointing and I would not recommend them. At least not for carpeting.
