On this particular night, we were there to see a David Bowie tribute show and the cocktails were themed after Bowie songs which was a really cute touch. Parking in the area was easy and I luckily found an inexpensive spot to park. The sound quality in the venue was great and I don't think there was a bad seat in the house. I look forward to coming here again someday. The service at the venue was excellent! I had an issue where I lost something and security was so helpful. The ushers were fantastic, friendly, and caring. I could not have asked for a better experience.

The performance center itself is part of the Riverside Community College, so depending where you will park, you might get to walk around the campus. There also could be a flight of long stairs or just a flat walk towards the main entrance. Staff here are also really helpful and nice, and I'm sure they are the same for all the different shows they have here. Inside the auditorium, it reminds me of a large lecture hall: with those wooden, collapsable chairs...just felt like being in college again! Which was cool. The stage and its lighting system is amazing and the stage will be lit up just perfectly for any show. I really enjoy coming here and who knows, maybe I'll come back for another show!

The Theater is large with 1500 seats and a professional stage that I hear is about to get some major upgrades. It's obvious that a lot of effort has gone into making this storied stage something special. Simple concessions from a local club from campus were nice and just the right price. Tickets for into the woods was just $16.00 with a $5 discount for advanced purchase, an amazing bargain! Into The woods was fantastic, clever, and massively entertaining with a superb cast. Some of the productions are a bit hit-or-miss for me, but I really enjoy coming as the environment is pretty welcoming and they try to change up the schedule each year to accommodate to different age groups. RCP has snacks outside for sale and free coffee w/ a personal donation to the theatre group. I admire the resilience of this theatre and its staff as the Riverside Community Players have survived the COVID-19 pandemic, arson, and other challenges. Bravo!

This facility is easy to find as it located adjacent to UCR ARTS which is the photography exhibits space operated by the University of California, Riverside, featuring the photographs of student and preeminent photographers. As these two spaces are connected, you can easily pass from onto the other. In the forward space of the Barbara and Art Culver Center of the Arts they offer an ever-changing presentation of art created by UCR students and others. What I have found here is predominately interesting pieces of modern art. Modern, in that it's newly created, giving the people that frequently gallery, an penetrating look at the artistic influences that are currently being expressed Beyond the galley in the front, this center does showings of various works of cinema as well as other artistic presentation. This Center for the Arts is an important element to the greater Riverside Art Scene and collection of great museums. Overall, fun place to check out. You never know what new artwork you may discover. And/or what new artists you may find.

I was thrilled to learn that the center was associated with UCR's College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. As a CHASS alum I couldn't miss out on seeing what was inside. I left a donation of five dollars and spent fifteen minutes admiring the current exhibition, a series of sculptures made out of various recycled plastics--and other materials, I'm sure. What a bright spot along the promenade this place will be for years to come! I'll be sure to check out future exhibitions--and they do film screenings here, too. What a great renovation to this classic building!

I booked the Murder Mystery Co in July for my milestone birthday in late October (busy Halloween…read moreweekend, so I made sure to call over 3 months in advance). I informed the representative that I was expecting 20-30 guests, however it was not confirmed yet, so she advised me to book a 1-actor package and call ahead when I have a firmer guest count to upgrade to a 2-actor package if needed. I signed the contract, and submitted the deposit. I called on Sept 14th (6 weeks before my event) to upgrade to a 2-actor package because I understood that the max guest count for 1-actor is 20 people. My upgrade was confirmed on the phone and in writing via confirmation email. Four days later (after I had already sent out invitations), I received a call explaining that they were no longer able to accommodate my event because no additional actors were available. Therefore I would need to either reduce my guest count or cancel. On top of that, my event details form was edited without my consent to indicate a max guest count of 19 people. This experience felt unprofessional and unreliable. There was no remedy offered to amend the situation. In fact, I had to call and argue for my deposit to be refunded (which it eventually was, in full). The representative on the phone spent more time explaining how I signed a contract for 1-actor without understanding that their company had confirmed my 2-actor package and then rescinded it at my expense. It should also be noted that there is no maximum guest count noted on your contract. I cannot recommend this company for any events based on this experience.

It's like no other dance studio in Riverside…read more I started off at the studio over 25 years ago as a young girl and there has always been something so special: The style of dance, the quality of instructors, the friendliness, and professionalism. I have always been proud to be at Bre Dance Studio. My favorite classes to take are adult jazz and ballet with Mr Cliff and Modern with Ro. I'm looking forward to trying adult tap soon!
