The only true plumbers left around here. No upselling or lies. Finished the job quickly, and for the best price available.

Great job installing a bathroom faucet in a very old bathroom sink. Would call them again.

Texans Water Heaters

I knew from the first company I called that there were complications to replacing my very old gas…read morewater heater, so I called Texans Water Heaters for another opinion. Brandon immediately recommended switching to electric would be the most cost effective. He called an electrician he has worked with, who turned out to be very reasonable and someone I will use in the future for my electrical needs, and the day after that work completed, Brandon & William quickly capped the gas line and replaced with a new electric water heater. Brandon was correct electric was much more reasonable price, in my case, than replacing with another gas water heater. Very happy I called Texans Water Heaters and pleased with their services every step of the way.

THE MOST EXPENSIVE ONE HOUR REPAIR IN HOUSTON…read more FIVE DAYS WITHOUT HOT WATER. A $1,000 LABOR QUOTE FOR A REPAIR THAT TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR AND THEN TRIED TO HOLD PARTS THAT BELONGED TO ME HOSTAGE WHEN i WANTED TO GET THE REPAIR DONE BY ANOTHER COMPANY. BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE, TEXAS WATER HEATERS SEEMED FAR MORE INTERESTED IN MAXIMIZING THE SERVICE BILL THAN HELPING RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM. USE EXTREME CAUTION AND GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE APPROVING ANY REPAIR WORK. We purchased a Navien tankless water heater from Texas Water Heaters in December 2023 (their recommendation), including installation of a new electrical outlet. When the unit stopped producing hot water less than three years later, we expected a straightforward warranty repair. Instead, we spent five days without hot water while Texas Water Heaters turned a relatively simple repair into a frustrating and expensive ordeal. The technician initially told us the motherboard had failed, they were getting weird electrical readings and that labor would be covered because Texas Water Heaters had installed the electrical outlet. Texas water heaters then brought in an electrician, who claimed the outlet was functioning properly. After that, Texas Water Heaters changed course and presented us with a quote of $1,000 in labor (because we hadn't purchased their service package/labor warranty at time of install) to replace a fan and PCB control board, despite the parts being covered under warranty. YES, THEY TRIED TO CHARGE $1000 TO REPLACE TWO ELECTRICAL PARTS COVERED UNDER MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY IN ADDITION TO THE $89.00 service fee just to come out! The THOUSAND DOLLAR estimate to replace two electrical components IMMEDIATELY raised red flags. I contacted another Navien-authorized service provider, who told me the repair should take about half an hour and that their hourly rate was $175. Unsurprisingly, I chose the second company. The situation became even more frustrating when Navien informed us that Texas Water Heaters had arranged for my warranty replacement parts to be shipped to their office instead of my home. Navien further explained that because Texas Water Heaters had accepted delivery of the parts on my behalf, Navien would not send replacements and I would need to obtain the parts from Texas Water Heaters. When I called to request my parts, I was initially told they had to be returned to Navien. Only after I requested written confirmation that Texas Water Heaters was refusing to release parts that belonged to me did they call back and suddenly agree I could drive over and pick them up. The second service company completed the repair, installed the warranty parts, and performed a full tune-up for a little over $300.

Let me start by saying that my family has used this business for over 20yrs. Until this last last…read morevisit I have always been please with the work and the charges with the job. They took care of us on all fronts. Good work at a fair price. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, this experience was horrible. They showed up and charged us trip charges for the hourly rate from the moment they left the office. The tech charged me the trip charge 3 times because he forgot or did not have the right supplies. The work in question was replacing two outside faucets. Charged me 5.5 hours of work time and to replace those two faucets they wanted to charge me $495. I have had they replace 3 of the same kind of faucets just a few years back for less than $200. When my wife got home he was standing at his truck and she asked him "are ya all done?" His response was no I don't have the right supplies so I am trying rig something. She stopped him and told him we wanted it done right. The guy did not clean up left solder and sharp metal shaving all over my pool deck. Left insulation that the pipes were wrapped in all over the pool deck and in my yard. We had to call and ask them to send him back. Yes yet another trip charge because he did not do his job. He came back the next day another trip charge because he did not do his job. Finished the work and the work was done well but guess what he still did not clean up his mess in either spot. So my wife cleaned the area up after our dog cut his foot and some of the sharp metal. While cleaning the absolute disaster area this guy left my wife cut her finger too. She told me that she would handle it and she called and called to talk with them with no response. When we got the bill in the mail she still wanted to handle it. So I let her. In the mean time I had 3 other plumbers working on my street for other companies come over and ask them what this should cost and I got 3 different answers. All were between $150-$200. And the labor should have been 1.5-2.0 hours. I was charged 5+. She did finally get ahold of the billing department who transferred her to I am guessing the owner and he was disrespectful and extremely unprofessional to my wife. I am just glad I was not there to see it because I would be writing this from jail! In closing do not ever use this business for anything! They are dishonest, disrespectful, unprofessional and are price gouging people! I will be writing a review with the BBB too as this business is terrible and criminal in my honest opinion! It's too bad that a 20+ year customer was treated so poorly. Stay away unless you like to be robbed and treated poorly!
