Thus is by far the most unprofessional Doctor I have ever come across. Dr. FUJITA is still practicing as if the year is 1970. I went to his Waipahu office today with my daughter cause she's pregnant and this is her second visit with him. She's going on her 2nd trimester. When she first visited him she told him her last menstrual period date but he didn't believe her telling her that her pelvic exam didn't render her to be further along than her dates. Well today his little archaic ultrasound machine proved him wrong. She was further along in her pregnancy than he suspected. Before he did a transvaginal ultrasound on her, he donned his one glove, he touched other dirty surfaces before he grabbed the wand he was using for the transvag. He then proceeded to tell my daughter she has ecoli in her urine and that he was gonna precribe her antibiotics for uti. He didn't order any lab works even though she clearly told him in the past that she's always high risk with her two previous pregnancies. Her first baby almost died at Queens due to aspiration and the second one had low fetal birth weight and jaundice. He never acknowledges his patient to put her fears at ease but comes across as a narcissistic ass. I told him we're going to be looking elsewhere for another OB cause he's just not a good fit for her. He proceeded to ask why and I told him aside from your amazing bedside manners, there are other reasons why and mostly it's for safety reasons. My daughter asked him if her records could be accessed electronically and that's when he said, No, they're all paper charts because he has a difficult time charting and accessing Epic. I swear this guy doesn't believe in Electronic Medical Records. Epic is used by Kaiser, Hawaii Pacific Health and Queens. He said he could fax her records once she's established a new OB. Thank God she's going to be seeing Dr. Richard McCartin with HPH group. I'm pretty sure any OB is better than thus guy. BTW, before her appt today, they had her urinate in a little plastic drinking cup and had her place it on the dirty sink with no cover so anyone that washes their hands in the sink can splash water or spit in that cup of urine. The office chairs/couches needs to be replaced. You can actually see stains from years on there and the floor is filthy. I can't believe this is a medical office. Licensing and JCAHO would have a field day with this office read more
