I found this place on Instagram and decided to take a visit. There were a lot of filling options (matcha, nutella, red bean, ice cream, even boba pearls!), but I ordered the classic mochi red bean dorayaki for $4.50. The pancakes were fluffy, had a honey flavor, but weren't overly sweet with the red bean paste, which had a nice texture that wasn't too pasty. The pancakes looked pretty small on their own, but after they were stuffed, they were the right dessert size. The white mochi blob in the middle added a soft chew. I only wish that the pancakes were a little warmer when I got them. Overall, it was pretty classic and definitely better than the packaged store-bought ones! read more
