If you're looking for a Chinese/ Japanese buffet that truly delivers on variety, this place is it. We're talking rows and rows of food -- like, a lot of food. Whether you're in it for the classics or something a bit more elevated, there's something for everyone here. Personally, I came for the sushi, sashimi, and hibachi, and I wasn't disappointed. The sushi was fresh and well-prepared for a buffet setting, with a surprising number of options. The sashimi was generous, and the hibachi station lets you customize your plate, cooked right in front of you. The star of the dinner menu, though, is the crab legs -- and yes, they're worth the extra $8. They're served cold and hot (in two separate rows) and replenished frequently, so you're not stuck waiting or fighting other guests for the last piece. Keep in mind that Sunday is considered dinner all day. That's when we visited and not disappointed at all! One unique bonus: they offer free bubble tea and bottled teas. The bubble tea comes with pudding instead of boba -- a bit unexpected, but better than nothing. If you're hungry, like really hungry, and want quality plus quantity, this buffet is the spot. Come with an appetite and leave in a food coma (in the best way).

I came here during lunchtime on a Saturday around 12:30 /1pm. All the food selections were full and ready!! The service attentive' & overall my experience is 4 stars worthy because I would definitely come back & would recommend. I like that they are clean & spacious in seating as well as parking too. Surprisingly one of my favorite menu items on the buffet line was their " Chicken Teriyaki ". This is only my first time coming here so I'm not sure what's on the menu for weekdays but otherwise if you're in the area & in the mood for Chinese... this spot is good to try out.

Decided to try this place our after their rebrand and new ownership. It was $22 for dinner and we found it was well worth the value. Place was clean and decor was modern. They had a wide selection of food to pick from, everything from fried American foods, to Chinese staples, to seafood and sushi. All the sushi we ate was good and fresh. We also enjoyed the included bottled beverages and boba teas. While this wasn't the best Asian food I've ever had, for your money this is definitely an excellent value and we will be back!

It is about 3.5 stars. Not yet four stars. The restaurant has sushi section with regular roll or signature roll. It also has nigiri. However, I think the nigiri has too much rice on it. That may be the reason they are 3.5 stars instead of 4 stars. The hot food section is nicer. They have beef, chicken, shrimp, veggies selection. I like their grilled chicken. I have not see a pork dish. I like their fried fish. They do have small dim sum sections. The salad section has some choices of mixed salad and fruit. The raw bar section has some seafood. The hibachi also available to customers. The dessert section has ice cream and cake. I like the drink section has some popping boba drink and honey jasmine tea. Overall service is good. Value is there for lunch time prices.

Fake cheap sushi. Everything dry /stale

Whole family got sick after eating here. Nothing else we ate whole day, ate late lunch around 2 pm Lunch there, all 3 of us are having food poisoning symptom. Going on day 2 now, still having lots of bathroom visits. Called to let manager know their food quality is terrible and nasty, asked for refund, but manager failed to oblige. Nasty place. Food is disgusting.

One of my favorite "all you can eat" Asian restaurants. If you are a fan of Asian food you have to try this place. Everything is delicious and fresh. The place is pretty spacious and clean. We went on a Sunday night with my family and it was $20 per person. It's even cheaper during weekdays or lunch time. The waitresses make you feel welcome the whole time. The only thing that I didn't like was the dessert section, but I'm excited to try it again next time!

Just started and the place is clean good music friendly staff. I'll post my next round! The SUSHI very fresh! Yum.. brb

Food was not great. We came for dinner on a weekday, seafood was not fresh and everything was average at best.

We came to celebrate my friend's birthday. They don't take reservations, and we walked in with a party of five. Right away I noticed none of the tables had hot pot or KBBQ setups, which confused me. Turns out this isn't traditional hot pot. You order it and it comes out already prepared in a bowl with a small gel burner underneath (bright purple/fuchsia fuel). They use way too much fuel, and the flames come out the sides. The bowls are visibly burnt, and at our table a napkin caught fire because it was too close to the flame -- not exactly comforting. This is also a buffet, which I personally don't love. There are a lot of options, but most of the food was either too salty, too bland, or after a while everything started tasting the same. Another thing that stood out was our server's attitude. It was a little too much for my liking and made it feel uncomfortable to ask for anything. I hate when service comes off that way -- especially when your job is to serve and help the table. On the plus side, the place is new, clean, and reasonably priced. If you're with friends, really hungry, and just want a quick, casual spot, it works. Just don't come in expecting a real hot pot or Korean BBQ experience, because that's not what this is.

It has a wide variety of tasty Chinese food, lots of different types of sushi, and lots of different seafood options, including unlimited crab legs at dinner. Cuisine: Chinese, Fresh Sushi, Seafood (including crab legs, oysters, mussels), American, and a large dessert selection. There were 5 different kinds of shrimp and 6 different kinds of chicken that were all pretty good. Specials: Unlimited crab legs are a dinner only special. Atmosphere: Tampa China Buffet was recently renovated with a modern futuristic interior with lots of LEDs, modern gray tile floors, and modern white marble style tile on the walls that looks very nice. Service: Service staff was friendly taking drink orders and refreshing buffet foods in a timely manner. The buffet is self serve so not much service is required. Pricing has gone up and is now $17 for lunch and $23 for dinner. However, this seems to be the going rate for most buffets now and the large selection of fresh sushi alone is worth that if you're hungry. Only one third of the foods had labels so you didn't know what you were eating unless you asked someone which is especially unhelpful for the sushi. I hope management can add labels for all the foods soon. That's an easy thing to fix. There was no hibachi which was a little disappointing. There were not a lot of dessert options beyond fruit. The cheesecake was not traditional but half bread half cheese so not true traditional cheesecake and bland with no fruit topping as is typical with cheesecake. The chocolate cake had no label and turned out to be kinda a coffee flavor. The Asian plumbs had a good different flavor. If you're in the USF North Tampa area, craving Chinese, Sushi, or Seafood, and are very hungry, definitely check out Tampa China Buffet! If you're looking for a better deal with Hibachi and sushi, Asian Buffet off Bruce B Downs in Wesley Chapel area has a lunch buffet which is only $11.

Service: 4/5 Our waitress was very nice and attentive, and she even gave us some local recommendations to check out. The hostess could be a bit friendlier when seating guests. Ambiance: 3/5 The restaurant has a large seating area with decent spacing between tables. One downside was the serving tongs at the buffet--they looked dirtier than expected. Replacing them more frequently, maybe every 30 minutes, would make a big difference.
