I enjoy dining here. They always have a nice selection of fresh dishes. They also have sushi.

I recently visited the Fuji Asian Buffet in Dubuque, IA while visiting my mother who frequently comes here. I was pleasantly surprised with Fuji Asian Buffet. It is a great quality Chinese buffet with a sushi bar and a small bar for alcohol. The place was very clean, had comfortable booths, and tables. The place was fully packed with many families including children. It is a self serve buffet but they have servers who will take your drink orders and help you clear your plates. This was a wonderful buffet with a very large selection of delicious popular Chinese cuisine, American food options, a beautiful sushi bar, and a fun delicious dessert bar area with ice cream! They have delicious appetizers/starters such as crab rangoons, egg drop soup, pot stickers, and egg rolls. I loved they had a large seafood selection of shrimp, mussels, and crawfish great for seafood lovers like myself! The buffet also featured lots of stir fry classics such as chicken and broccoli, beef lo mein, and general tso's chicken. I was pleasantly surprised with the food quality for being a buffet. I also really loved the sushi bar. The staff were super friendly/attentive! I highly recommend this buffet because you definitely get your money's worth especially when you are super hungry! This is a great buffet to try many different Chinese cuisine options popular in many Chinese restaurants. They also have buffet options to satisfy the kids also. The buffet is good, warm and has many choices. The portions were routinely filled and not left to congeal. One of the better buffet options.

Staff was excellent. Friendly, helpful and hard-working. Food was mixed good and bad: snow fish and mushrooms were very good; honey chicken was tough and chewy; beef had a lot of gristle. Huge buffet and sushi for dine in or carry out!! There are a variety of choices for every taste buds. The hostess was very nice and greeted me with a smile. I liked that very much! I was seated right away and was asked what kind of drink I would like. They are very clean and I like how they still take precautions even though Covid restrictions have been lifted & provided plastic gloves at the buffet table to use before handling the ladles. There were only a few things I tried that I didn't care for - in particular the hibachi beef. I also wasn't totally crazy for the fried rice but the lo mein was good. Just East of Best Buy and southeast of Wendy's facing a parking lot in the middle of a collection of stores anchored by Moondog Records. Service is prompt and the line moves quickly if there is one. Opening week and this place was jammed. But I got seated in 10 minutes or less. Plenty of Lenton options as well as American cousine. Well lit and handicap accessible. Cushy seats and ornate tables. Priced under 10 for lunch and under 14 for dinner. I recommend this to you as a authentic Chinese buffet with compliments of the highest order. And to make things better the is even a Hibachi grill! To me this is the best Chinese Buffet in Dubuque. They have the usual Chinese Buffet food and then some. Love the sushi bar and habachi grill. There are times when the food is not as hot as one expects it to be, but I mean you see that some food is out there for a while, not much you can do. either you choose to eat it or not. Overall I enjoy the food here. The service is great too, though not much of a conversation happens, the servers are usually quick and very polite. Waiting time depends on the time you come in, so far I've had little to no wait when I go there to eat. read more

We did not like this place one bit. We love Asian food and decided to give this a try, maybe it was an off day for them I don't know. ‍ We have almost everything. My partner spit out the breaded chicken. The spring rolls were off to us and I didn't care for the way the orange chicken tasted. The chicken had an odd taste about it. Between both of us we had to spit out a total of 4 things. The fried cream cheese wontons were excellent though. All of the food tasted bland and like it wasn't hot enough. Ok I am always weary of Asian buffetts. I was in the mood for esse food so I thought what the hell. This was the cleanest, polite, and guess what. The food was GREAT. Food was fresh, not greased... To give an example bring the check in a portfolio and the portfolio is alway nasty and gross. Even it was spotless. I work in a different city and state every week. We wanted to like this place but did not. It was run-of-the mill, Americanized "Chinese" food that was mostly lukewarm. Some dishes and sushi items were empty and in need of refilling the entire time we were there, and we both picked up dirty plates at the buffet line and had to dig for clean ones. I don't know if they use MSG, but we both had headaches and upset stomachs after eating there. We won't be in any hurry to go back. Hopefully, they'll improve over time. read more
