In Dubuque Iowa today for doctor appointment and wanted a quick lunch. So what's quick and easy if not buffet; so Fuji Asian Buffet was the pick of the day!! Huge buffet and sushi for dine in or carry out!! There are a variety of choices for every taste buds. The hostess was very nice and greeted me with a smile. I liked that very much! I was seated right away and was asked what kind of drink I would like. They are very clean and I like how they still take precautions even though Covid restrictions have been lifted & provided plastic gloves at the buffet table to use before handling the ladles. Great selection of food, hot, fresh and YUMMO!! Just to name a few; Appetizers Hot & Sour Soup or Egg Drop Soup, Crawfish, Mussels, Beef with Broccoli, Shrimp, Fried Rice, lo mein, fish, Crab Rangoons, Sushi, Pork Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, Coconut Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Sweet & Sour Pork, Mongolian Beef, chicken wings, sesame balls, fried bananas, ice cream and tons of dessert, etc... If you are going to be in Dubuque, be sure to try it once. read more

I enjoy dining here. They always have a nice selection of fresh dishes. They also have sushi.

I have been coming here for years because I am so pleased with the food and service. Great sushi and Chinese food!

I recently visited the Fuji Asian Buffet in Dubuque, IA while visiting my mother who frequently comes here. I was pleasantly surprised with Fuji Asian Buffet. It is a great quality Chinese buffet with a sushi bar and a small bar for alcohol. The place was very clean, had comfortable booths, and tables. The place was fully packed with many families including children. It is a self serve buffet but they have servers who will take your drink orders and help you clear your plates. This was a wonderful buffet with a very large selection of delicious popular Chinese cuisine, American food options, a beautiful sushi bar, and a fun delicious dessert bar area with ice cream! They have delicious appetizers/starters such as crab rangoons, egg drop soup, pot stickers, and egg rolls. I loved they had a large seafood selection of shrimp, mussels, and crawfish great for seafood lovers like myself! The buffet also featured lots of stir fry classics such as chicken and broccoli, beef lo mein, and general tso's chicken. I was pleasantly surprised with the food quality for being a buffet. I also really loved the sushi bar. The staff were super friendly/attentive! I highly recommend this buffet because you definitely get your money's worth especially when you are super hungry! This is a great buffet to try many different Chinese cuisine options popular in many Chinese restaurants. They also have buffet options to satisfy the kids also. The dessert bar was a huge hit with the kids as they had ice cream, cute little cakes, and fruit. I definitely plan to come to Fuji Asian Buffet again! read more

The buffet is good, warm and has many choices. The portions were routinely filled and not left to congeal. One of the better buffet options.

Staff was excellent. Friendly, helpful and hard-working. Food was mixed good and bad: snow fish and mushrooms were very good; honey chicken was tough and chewy; beef had a lot of gristle. Bonus points for being open Christmas Day. Minus points for meal being $17 per person. Not sure if I'll be back. read more

Excellent Asian Restaurant. Fresh crab, fresh vegetables, then tradition Asian Chicken dishes Fresh cantaloupe and then desserts. Good for family and friends. read more

Fuji Asian Buffet - Dessert - Buffets Near Me - Dubuque, Iowa

Buffer was adequate, but not special. I also question whether it is worth the price. I'd go back, but this would not be my first choice.

The food is amazing. One of the best Asian buffets I've been to in a while. They keep the tables clear and the food hot. It is loud though but that's to be expected with as packed as it is. read more

The food is just like every other Asian Buffet that's out there. They have options to choose from but some do the food was just blah and the rest was just ehh nothing there that really wowed me. The best part honestly is the staff they are super friendly and nothing sits long the second your plate is done and at the edge of the table it's gone. read more

Overall this was surprisingly good. As with most buffets, there are usually a lot of things in the buffet I don't trust. However this place seemed clean and the food was pretty decent. There were only a few things I tried that I didn't care for - in particular the hibachi beef. I also wasn't totally crazy for the fried rice but the lo mein was good. But there were a LOT of options and most of them were fairly cheap. All of it was reasonably priced as well. read more

Great staff. Very consistent food quality and menu items. Has anything you could ever want including sushi and carry out buffet by pound.

100% better with the new Sushi Chef!!! The previous Sushi Chef would make remarks and faces when you took sushi from the sushi station. It always seems like he hated his job. Food and service both amazing today!! read more

Great Chinese styled buffet with many of the traditional mainstays you might find in a typical Chinese buffet. Four buffet tables of hot and fresh food. Great selection of hard ice cream for desert. Just East of Best Buy and southeast of Wendy's facing a parking lot in the middle of a collection of stores anchored by Moondog Records. Service is prompt and the line moves quickly if there is one. Opening week and this place was jammed. But I got seated in 10 minutes or less. Plenty of Lenton options as well as American cousine. Well lit and handicap accessible. Cushy seats and ornate tables. Priced under 10 for lunch and under 14 for dinner. I recommend this to you as a authentic Chinese buffet with compliments of the highest order. And to make things better the is even a Hibachi grill! THAT'S RIGHT. I SAID IT. HIBACHI. Got a higher hunger for the grill? This place has it too. read more

The food lacked moisture and was quite tough to chew. While the service was satisfactory, the price of the meal seemed a bit steep in comparison to other similar options. read more

Worth the wait, sushi is amazing. Do stop in if you can. Will tell everyone I meet. Lunchtime we had a wait, it's that popular, obviously and is worth the wait! read more

Very friendly and welcoming environment. Got a decent selection of food on the Buffett. The service was humble and considerate. Will be returning for my next Chinese Buffett craving read more

I love this place, it has a high end feel to the it we always leave satisfied and happy

To me this is the best Chinese Buffet in Dubuque. They have the usual Chinese Buffet food and then some. Love the sushi bar and habachi grill. There are times when the food is not as hot as one expects it to be, but I mean you see that some food is out there for a while, not much you can do. either you choose to eat it or not. Overall I enjoy the food here. The service is great too, though not much of a conversation happens, the servers are usually quick and very polite. Waiting time depends on the time you come in, so far I've had little to no wait when I go there to eat. read more

Great selection of food. Wonderful, fresh sushi and overall nice staff. Dinner times may get crowded, otherwise there's usually enough space and wait time does not exceed 5-10 minutes. read more

This is an awesome place - the food is fresh - the service is wonderful and they even make special stuff for you on occasion (My wife asked for a special item and she didn't know it was only for dinner but the gentleman made one for her). They remember you when you come in often as well! read more

Very nice host. Prompt & correct drink order. Lunch buffet has tons to chose from. Clean place, tons of seating. Always stop at least once while traveling in the area. read more

We did not like this place one bit. We love Asian food and decided to give this a try, maybe it was an off day for them I don't know. ‍ We have almost everything. My partner spit out the breaded chicken. The spring rolls were off to us and I didn't care for the way the orange chicken tasted. The chicken had an odd taste about it. Between both of us we had to spit out a total of 4 things. The fried cream cheese wontons were excellent though. All of the food tasted bland and like it wasn't hot enough. We will not go there again!!! Only reason they get two stars is because they were nice and the fried wontons were great read more

I have been running for the bathroom since about two hours after eating there. Poor food selection and overpriced.

We always go to Fuji for lunch it's quick and easy! The food is good. The staff is super friendly! The food is always warm which is nice for a buffet! They are always refilling food and always smiling! read more

Ok I am always weary of Asian buffetts. I was in the mood for esse food so I thought what the hell. This was the cleanest, polite, and guess what. The food was GREAT. Food was fresh, not greased... To give an example bring the check in a portfolio and the portfolio is alway nasty and gross. Even it was spotless. I work in a different city and state every week. If I lived here they would be my go to spot. read more

The food was excellent. The meat all had very good flavor. Liked the fish. My wife is from Taiwan and we eat at buffets all of the time. This one stood out..will try again! read more

We wanted to like this place but did not. It was run-of-the mill, Americanized "Chinese" food that was mostly lukewarm. Some dishes and sushi items were empty and in need of refilling the entire time we were there, and we both picked up dirty plates at the buffet line and had to dig for clean ones. I don't know if they use MSG, but we both had headaches and upset stomachs after eating there. We won't be in any hurry to go back. Hopefully, they'll improve over time. read more

The food was OK, but it was like 85 degrees in here. I was not happy sitting and trying to eat and sweating profusely the entire time. Maybe I'll try here again in the winter. read more

The food was excellent! Service was by far the best i have had in a long time. I will be going back. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I have been here twice since they have opened. I went the first weekend right after they opened and it was crazy busy but the food was awesome and I went a few weeks ago and it was still good. They have a wide variety of food including fresh sushi and a hibachi grill. I definitely will be going back again. read more

I was looking forward to something different. But soon realized that this place is just like most other Asian buffets. I shouldn't be that harsh. The environment is nice and soothing. The staff is very helpful and nice. They do try to make sure the customer needs are met. read more
