Cute Coffee & Cocktail shop- get Caffeinated and/or Drunk, whatever your day calls for, and I like that haha... Gentleman behind the counter was kind & helpful, plenty of seating space that included knooks and crannies to tuck yourself into... very much my kind of vibe x

Smooth Cup of Coffee at this cafe near the museum. Seats outside, really wonderful on a sunny day. Excellent mid century modern furniture inside....

The drinks here are pretty bad if you're comparing it to a true cocktail bar. The only great thing about this place is that they have free wifi and comfortable seating, which is good for relaxing those sore traveler legs for a few hours. 3 stars.

This place was disappointing, given that they have a location in Tokyo. The chocolate croissant we ordered was stale (we had it in the afternoon). It might have been better if it was warmed up in the oven, but I don't think they offer that. The mocha was just okay, more like chocolate milk than a mocha, and the interior was not that great. Kind of dark and old-timey and retro, which was not that exciting compared to the modern aesthetic of most Scandinavian coffee houses.

One of my favorite spots for coffee, tea and cocktails! Lovely space with vintage design ( you can buy everything ) with seating both inside and outdoors. Once a week or so they arrange happenings like tastings, different food themes( Oysters, Hot Dogs etc) . Maybe the best selections of coffee beans in town as they have beans from the best roasters in town like Tim Wendelboe, Supreme Roastworks, kaffa and occationally from Las Cabras in Aarhus, The Barn in Berlin and other great roasters around the world.

Clockwise from the can, Aass beer, Rhubarb Slang, Mon Tjommi, Smack My Bees Up.

Interesting cocktails with a nice vibe. I stopped by with two friends on a Friday evening around 10:30 PM, and it wasn't overly crowded (there were people, but we were still able to secure outdoor seating). We ordered many different drinks, my favorites of which were the refreshing Life's a Birch (birch leaf infused vodka, honey syrup), the tasty but not too sweet Rhubarb Syrup (rhubarb, rum, campari), and the Smack My Bees Up (aquavit, whiskey, ginger, wood sorrels!). We also tried some of their Norwegian sake, which they took the time to explain to us. I found it to be not as smooth or sweet as Japanese sake, but I thought it was worth trying. We sat inside on the nice couch area as well, and it's a comfortable seating area with music playing not too loudly. I'd definitely return here for drinks if I came back.

Definitely Oslo's cosiest café! Went there 4 times in 6 days! Very expensive, but a great vibe and good drinks. Not too crowded, which is nice!

Not sure why people giving bad reviews. Really nice cafe with excellent coffee and a great vibe. Cappuccino is fantastic (as a double espresso) and the cakes are great too. Recommended for people into good coffee and a good atmosphere. Ps. The tea was very good too served in a lovely little teapot :-)

My husband and I love the whole experience of Fuglen. Great, great coffee and pastries for the daytime but we love the flexibility the storefront has as it transforms into a bar at night. We've been to the one in Tokyo as well and the interior along with the drinks are very consistent. One of our favorite cafes - we hope they'll open one up in NYC!

Lovely place to relax and pass the time with coffee and/or cocktails. Also appreciated the attention to making cocktails and coffee. I got a gimlet and a cortado and both were delicious. Friendly service and ample seating.

I've only been here during the day but I would love to come back at night and have a cocktail because Fuglen is quite possibly one of my new favorite haunts. Great coffee and I love their outside seating, it sits on quite a busy streets but on a sunny day this place is just amazing. It checks all my boxes for sure.

The coffee and cocktails are great and the vintage decoration is awesome. You can buy everything laying in there, from a sofa to a lamp. They have events like "oysters and cocktails" and more. Great place! Sometimes a bit crowded tho.

The food and drinks are definitely overrated. The service was super nice though. Not worth the hype.

Its a pretty difficult sell for a rooftop bar to a New Yorker, but then every rooftop also tells a story! And what a wonderful story it was! Nestled on the Eight floor of Grand Hotel, is this really well decorated rooftop bar with an amazing menu. A pretty fancy menu explains the different flavor profiles to order from along with ABV's - something we never saw on a cocktail menu! Docking one star only because they couldn't make the cocktail that I really wanted - a Rum Old Fashioned. Tried The Etoile (Penicillin) instead, which was very nice too and so was the counting sheep (Whiskey Sour). The views on a rainy/overcast day were pretty good too and we could only imagine how spectacular summer days in Oslo could be from this rooftop! Service was good, noise levels on the lower end. We had every specialty drink on the menu (except the one with the gold coin). Some places have a hard time executing on really great drinks, service, AND ambiance... this place does it all with excellence. The drinks are high quality, intentional, and amazing. The food (we had the sliders) also caught us off guard with how good it was. From our seats at the bar, George was an incredible bartender!
