The service is impeccable with a staff who is very knowledgeable about the intricacies of the menu and super in tune with patrons. This bar has a very cool way of crafting drinks as an ode to the relationship between Norway and the United States. It's a beautiful science of all of the senses. We had every specialty drink on the menu (except the one with the gold coin). Some places have a hard time executing on really great drinks, service, AND ambiance... this place does it all with excellence. The drinks are high quality, intentional, and amazing. The food (we had the sliders) also caught us off guard with how good it was. From our seats at the bar, George was an incredible bartender! We're so excited to see how the menu continues to transform with the seasons, offering new and exciting cocktails. We will absolutely be back and recommend Pier 42 to anyone we can!

And the last one was in a huuuge glass with something fizzy and taste of citrus fruits, which was my favorite but can't recall the name. The music was loungy in the background, so not a party place. Rather a place to sit and have a chat. The interior was cozy with high and low tables. We were lucky to get a seat next to the bar, but in general terms the seats were constantly taken.
